After cheering everytime we got Jesse down from standing yesterday he did it himself this morning!!!!!! He was standing, holding on with 1 hand, spread his legs and slowly bent down with the other hand reaching for the ground, then let go and was on his bum!! YAY so proud!!!

Just been on a picnic today at heathcoate.Never been and its fabulous! Cant wait to go again.There was a huge boat playground.Kids were having a ball!! And the views speccy.
Another thing was a guy we just bumped into is selling his double bike trailer that converts to a jogger too so we find out his asking price tommorow.Hopefully not to dear and we can all go bike riding!! need to get off my big fat butt!!!
feel abit of an idiot about thinking there were 55 of us - thought that was rather alot....anyway hope everyone is having a great weekend - had a quiet day yesterday then went to this cool place called Montecasino - like a huge italian village with loads of restaurants, casino, etc, etc. Today - nothing much...

Ok.. venting time...
MIL called today and told (yes TOLD) us we had to go around to their friend's for lunch. She did this while i was up the shops. DH told me when i got home. Jesse was asleep. But boy did i crack it. I told him, i am so sick of her treating Jesse like a show pony! He said dont bad mouth my mother.. i said yeh ok stick up for her then, dont give a sh*t about us.. he said why are you saying that.. i said she doesnt want to see me, she just wants to show Jesse off to her friends.. he said thats not true.. i said yes it is! I told him how she really p*ssed me off last weekend, she went into the computer room with Jesse while DH was showing her something.. put Jesse on the floor where he went to attack some cords.. so i walked him out to see Grandpa (FIL) who was cooking in the kitchen.. she came out and snatched him off me and said i wouldnt have put him down if i knew you were gonna take him. HE IS MY SON!! Then whenever he gets upset (shes the only person who forever makes him upset!) she'll give him to DH, never to me, DH then gives him to me. I said then i sat with FIL again with Jesse and she snatched him off FIL, i said why cant he have time with his grandpa! Whenever her friends see him, theyre only allowed to hold him for a max of 2 minutes then he is hers and she has to hold him. Like poor Jesse! DH said i didnt realise it was like that. I said its like that every time. I said He is MY son not hers! He said you shouldve told me that was upsetting you, i didnt realise, so in future i can fix it. Which was nice in the end. He called her and told her we werent going. But we are getting our hair cut tomorrow at her place so im really not looking forward to that.
Ya know.. i reckon the reason i got that migrain this week was because of my stress about my MIL. I have no other stress in my life except her. Its doing my head in just writing this.

Ness - just wanted to say my DH is p*ssing me off this weekend too - I think I must be pmt as it is really small things that annoy me - how pathetic is this - but - he sneezes really loudly and just woke Rylee up after I had settled her, he sniffs in the morning instead of blowing his nose and he has the TV and stereo up too loud - right got that off my chest, told you it was pathetic - he does loads of other annoying things but I havn't got time to list them - ha ha.
Kell - yay on your DH saying to NO to his mum - what a pain in the ar$e she sounds - poor Jesse - and poor you too!!!
I just got home.. Was at Port Stephens for a week and we got stuck in the storm. Had to go to Newcastle to pick up poor DH in the midst of the storm and all the road closures. Anyone heard from Chrissy? Is she and her family ok??????????? there are bad floods where she is at the moment.
DH had a cold then I got it and now Julia has it the poor chicken Anna - thanks for your tips sorry I havent smsd you Vodafone went down where we were cause of the storms call you later today ok.

Kell- I would totally be ****ed of too, I like it how she tells you what you are doing as you said, jesse is not her toy thing. And men mustn't notice much cause months ago I remember my IL's really upset me to the point I was in tears and Df had no idea, after that he always sticks up for me now.

Caddie- that bike trailer thng sounds kool. You can have lots of fun family bike outings now.
Not much going on here, visited my sister and nephew today, poor nephew been vomiting a bit. The weather is crappy. So haven't done much at all.
Did get a new/ old pram. It was the one my sister was using for my nephew years ago, heaps better than the one I have, steers better, not as bulky and best thing is how light it feels, my old one must've been so heavy cause new one is like pushing a feather along.
Belle - I didn't even know you had gone away! Glad that you DH is ok.

Not much to report here 'cos I"m just too tired to do all that much. That darling bub of mine has started waking every hour again through the night. Any tips on ditching the dummy girls? I'm pretty sure it is the root of the problem.
Hi all, well we are back from NYC!!! and the post cards are unwritten in my bag.. im so slack!
Anyway, we are home safe and sound and i need to do some major washing and organising! so will be back tomorrow.. i also need sleep!

Annie - big welcome back - hope the jetlag isn't too bad - sometimes you feel like you need another holiday when you come back from one
Nessa - very scary what happened to your friend, it is a warning for us all - lots of prayers for him that he recovers quickly

Anna - poor you with your bub waking up all the time - I don't have any ideas on getting rid of the dummy - but someone at my Mums group said it was happening to her and she put about 6 dummies in the bed all around bub so he could find it easily and go back to sleep...
No other news- Rylee and I are off to Namibia on Wednesday for two days to get out of the country and come back in as our visas have expired - not looking forward to travelling with her by myself...
Laurin- Good luck with the travel, I'd be bit nervous to, is your hubby working at that time?
Annie- god the time you were away flew, feels like you just left. We're all waiting to hear about the trip. Hope you get accoustomed to the jet lag quickly.
Nessa- Oh thats awful, I get scared cooking with oil, I always wear my dish washing gloves cause of the spatters, poor thing must be in so much pain, I remember I burnt my hand once and that was bad enough. Was much of his body affected?
Anna**- All I can suggest is giving away the dummy and try settling without it, first few nights you may be awake alot but in long run could work out for the best. We had to do that with Ash and the breastfeeds. Now at least she can go 6 hours on average between feeds.
Maz.. oh yes please.. a good head butt would be nice thanks!
Nessa.. sorry to hear about your friend.. hope hes going to be ok. MIL was the usual today.. i was holding Jesse and she kept clapping her hands and holding her hands out for him to reach for her, he just turned the opposite way as if to say p*ss off woman im with my mummy (thats my boy!). Then when he was on the floor, she kept doing it and he just looked at her and crawled the opposite way hehee! But she ended up picking him up and taking him outside.. and yep, he started balling. She brought him back in and i said to her, what did you do? She said oh i was just showing him the fountain.. he normally likes it.. i said no he normally cries when you take him outside!
Shell... i remember when you were going through a bad time with your IL's. Least i know DH is looking over my shoulder to make sure im ok now. Oh cool with the pram score! Hope your nephew is ok.
om ok belle, we got stuck in newcastle on friday, but all ok, luckily for my kids....shcool has been cancelled today not sure about the rest of the week.
well me and craig had a huge barney on sunday night.......i have a huge burn on my hand and a swollen lip ( but thats another story) i walked out with the kids and he drove his kids home, with massive chest pains ( he was having a heart attack) the kids got dropped off, then he tried to drive to hospital whitch was taree ( thats 2 hours from here) as he was trying to come back top newcastle but he was in to much pain, anyway he had to stop an the side of the road and flag someone down to help....no onee stopped,,,,,,he rode out the pain in the car for 10hours, thinking he was gonna die, ( there was no mobile reception) he decided around 8am to try and make it to hospital..which he did collapsing as he walked into casualty.......he had a pretty bad heart attack, and has been having small ones this last month (the doctor told him he had an ulcer) he will be in hosp for around 4 days in taree and they are transfering him down to necastle so they can attempt to unblock an attery.....HOLYSH** IM A BLUR..i came home to pack my bags and leave him when there was a message from CRITAL CARE that he is having a heart attack.SO DONT I FEEL LIKE A F%$KIN BI$$CH. anyway i went to see him as my parents came up to looka fter the kids he is in a pretty bad way.
sorry dont know what else to say, i am 3 weeks from going to qld, he will not be working for at least that, i dont know weather to cancell the trip or what?? help me out is it right for me to go away?
