Hmmm a question to all those who have two children.
Does your bubba already know how to play you off, I mean I have been watching Annika and Teleah playing and when Annika thinks that I aint looking she will like cry wolf IYKWIM And poor Teleah cops the blame I think sometimes for something that never really happened cause she makes herself look guilty (she will jump up and run away if Annika starts to cry)
And then I aint imagining the cheeky little smile I get from Annika when she gets the attention
LOL.. ill have to watch more closely.. when i ask Olivia whats going on her 1st responce is also.nothing.. way too quickly... i think a spy camera would help me out big time!

Nelle - how is the sore throat....
Rach - yeah, Rylee sometimes hardly eats anything then the next day she is hungry again...I guess some days they are moving around more and need more fuel...
Nessa - yep, I am a big sook when it comes to needles
Caddie - how are you doing?
Chrissie - how is Craig doing and how are you coping with all of this?
to Maz, Anna, AnnaT, Annie, Kell, Belle, we need a list at the start of each thread to remember, one day I will write everyone down!! Sorry if i have missed u.
Nessa - I remember when me and my sister were little - she would do naughty things and then put the blame on me - I was the one who always got into trouble - until one day she saw that it was my sister doing the naughty stuff....

Nothing else to report - have my friend and her seven month bub coming over today, nice to have some human contact as DH is away for the week.

gotta go, have a good one!

No personals from me today... just dropping in to let you know that Xander has gastro. All I can say is yuck, yuck and triple yuck. Looks like it came from playgroup as many of the other bubs have had it the past week, some were hospitalised for dehydration. Luckily Xander will drink very dilute cordial so I am able to keep his fluids up.

Bit of a me post - WE GOT OUR NEW CAR TODAY! I got to go and pick it up all by myself. I am so so in love with it already lol We ended up buying a 2003 Ford (Falcon) Futura, its a mint green colour and fully optioned. Drives like a dream and is so much more roomy! Jett and new bub wont be squashed in like cows on a cattle truck Ry is itching to get home so he can take it for a spin so we might go do some shopping in town. I want to buy one of those car seat protecters to put under Jetts seat as it left dents in the Focus. Feels weird seeing a big car in the driveway now but I also feel special hehe Our neighbours are jealous, reckon its a beauty of a car. Bigger bonus - we arent paying out anymore than our usual repayments on it, just paying it off for longer so we wont go broke.

Anna - sorry to hear X has gastro, yukky. Hope he feels better soon and that you dont get it!
Ness - Jett already gets that sooky look on his face when he is in trouble to see if he can get sympathy. When he doesnt get it he chucks a tanty. Amazing how soon they start to learn how to work Mum and Dad isnt it? I can imagine its worse with two or more kids!
Laurin - hope you had a good time with your friend. Ive been lonely this week because I missed coffee club yesterday due to being in hospital. I feel worse when I dont have atleast one day of socialising with other adults.
Maz - how goes the m/s? Hope your starting to feel a bit better like I am! Can you believe we are a month or less away from 2nd trimester

AnnaT- yay on new car! I bet you'll be finding any excuse to go and drive it. Glad to hear Jett is alot better also and that you both got some sleep.

Anna**- Poor Xander, is he vomiting and squirting out? Try to rest yourself too, at least he is getting fluids in. Must be a strong strain of it with bubs being hospitalised, hopefully Xander won't get that bad.

*Nessa*- I don't have 2 kids to compare to but I have noticed lately with Ash that she is really turning on the water works to get my attention and cuddles. Any little thing that happens she'll look at me and start this fake cry.

Rach- Also too when they start getting into solids they will cut down how much milk they have. Ash is having less breast feeds thses days.

Nelle- Last time I had sore throat ended up being tonsillitis! Have a warm honey/ lemon drink or maybe gargle with salt water.

Had a nice day out with my sister, Pancake Palour was best part of the day, I so love it there, could eat there everyday! Ash wouldn't sleep in her pram though so missed a morn sleep. Wasn't too bad if we kept moving but when we stopped she'd start whinging.

Df has brought home chocky jam donuts!

Thanks for the well wishes girls... Xander isn't too bad at this stage and he will drink dilute cordial and is eating a little bit so I'm sure he'll be fine. Till then though, the poor little mite is sure giving me a hard time! Unfortunately he point blank refuses Gastrolyte or anything similar - I felt so guilty giving him the cordial, but it's the only thing he will drink and the health nurse gave me a brochure from the Health Dept that says it is ok??? Seemed to perk him up a bit too (funny that! )

Shell - It is just the squirts, no vomiting. I'd be a bit more worried if he was vomiting too as I think he would get dehydrated so much faster. It does seem to be a nasty strain, my DH has been off all week and I've never seen anyone that sick in a long time - he's lost 5kgs. But I'm ok at this stage - dunno what I'll do if I get it and still need to look after bubba.

Maz - How you going hon? Must get off my butt and phone you once the lurgie leaves the house. I swear I have two children right now... one of which is 35

AnnaT - Woo hoo on the new car! Be so nice to have the extra space - you'll need it soon enough with #2 on the way.

Nessa - Can't answer your question, but sure sounds like you got a cheeky bunch there.

Caddie - Hope your dinner was yummo, amazing how food always tastes better when someone else cooks it isn't it? Even if they use the same recipe etc. How'd the pumpkin and corn go with Ruby?

Bel - Thanks for the chat the other day, hope you're still smiling hon.

Sending quick labour vibes to your friend Annie! I hope Olivia doesn't get too sick with the bronchitis.... I vaguely remember having it as a kid and remember feeling terrible.

Nessa - You've got 'Tweenies' before the puberty thing starts. At least girls grow out of their weird behavious sooner... boys seem to stay boys till they are about 25 and then they finally grow up.

Chrissy - Hope all went well with Craig's op.

Caddie - Got everything crossed that there is nothing to worry about with today's appointment. Good luck hon.
