We have had another crappy night but I do see a tooth just about thru so that I get some relief tonight!

Anna and laurin- How are Xander and Rylee doing these days with their sleep? Still waking frequently?

Wow Annie, thats impressive you are already back from the sales, I'm still sitting here in PJ's.

Belle- Why is hubby skeptical bout the meds? Does he think they are waste time or something? Sometimes you just need to try different ones til you find the ones that work for you.

Kell- Sounds good having a lazy day, I think I might be doing the same.

HelenP- So many movies out at the moment I want to see, Harry being one of them. Might just have to leave matt at home with Ash and go alone.

So how are everyones bubs going with finger food? Ash is still not interested she'll just squish it and throw it on the floor, everything else goes in her mouth but she'll refuse finger food, pretty much refuses anything that isn't on a spoon.

Just a quick cause Vy is down for her sleep and I really need to clean my pig pen.
Jed had all his dreams come true last night - he finally had 2 girls in his bed ROFL
Vy was so unsettled I decided to chuck her in with us and we all got a bit of sleep.
Good idea with the high chair - I usually have a little so and so screaming high pitch at me to come in with me. I cant keep Vy still anymore...she walks everywere little nutter she is.
    OK BBL for more

    Morning!
Im feeling a teeeeeeeeeeny bit better today. My throat isnt sore and my head isnt pounding so much.

Shell - DH is entitled to 5 days of emergency family leave a year BUT if he took them right now, it would mean an extra 3 months down here as he would get behind in his coursework and get backsquaded. Hence why I HATE being here. They will do that to them but dont mind taking up their nights and weekends with crap unrelated to their course.

As for the fingerfood topic - Jett will eat anything in any way, shape or form He likes finger food because he can investigate what he's eating while he's eating it. He'll eat off a spoon though too. ATM he loooooooooves the Heinz ages 1-3 fruit sticks. I was getting desperate NOT to give him Arrowroot biscuits or rusks because he just ends up throwing them away (not yummy enough) so I bought them on the off chance he'd eat them and voila! he chomps them down in record time.

    Thanks Belle.

Shell maybe you and Nelle can catch up and go to the movies so that you dont have to go alone.

Maz-hehehe re Jed. I hope that she sleeps better tonight.

AnnaT-Glad to hear that you are feeling a little better.

    Annie-How are things going?????

    Kell-Goodluck with the sales tomorrow.

Well I am just about to get Bella ready to go to swimming classes, but before hand we are going to see Mum and drop off some drying, then after swimming we will be going to Leith's parents for tea and hopefully I can get them to babysit and Leith and I can quickly pop along to target to check it out. So a busy afternoon. I saw a newborn this morning and he was soooooo cute, so cute I would almost say he was cuter than my babies, almost but not quite.LOL. Making me all clucky.

    Hi Rach!

Oh sending baby dust to Anna and Rach. I hope you can both do it without clomid.

It's cold here in tassie, Eithan goes to bed in socks singlet, shortsleeve body suit, grow suit (bonds) or pjs, then he has on a flanelette blanket, woolen blanket and then a quilt. It may sound over the top, but it keeps him just right and that is with the heater on 22 over night and his bedroom is about 18c. But at about 2 am the house gets colder.

    Love

Fricken heck. I lost/got my mobile stolen so I rang up to report it and they put a block on it. Turns out they were charging me for 2 handsets even though I upgraded from my previous one to the one I lost. I can go get a blank sim card and have my old account put on it so I can use my old handset (that doesnt work very well) but I have to drive all the way to Melbourne to do it *sigh*

I have never lost a mobile before until now. Ry is major mad at me. Im blaming placenta brain.

    Hey all,

AnnaT - major bummer on your mobile phone - sometimes it is not the cost of these things but the huge inconvenience of it all

Maz - Rylee was in bed with me last night (DH away AGAIN) but she slept from midnight to 7 am (after alot of crying and a vomit at 11 pm tho) so I can't complain too much.

Helen - newborns are so tiny aren't they - I still think Rylee is small but when I see a newborn with their wrinkly little faces and tiny hands - awwwwww.....they are so cute.

Shell - Rylee seems to have improved on her sleeping - but I am not going to get too excited - I havn't done anything differently - just think she is 'growing up'. I think you were asking about bottle feeding - how many - when I weaned Rylee I just replaced a feed every three/four days and did alternate ones until all had been replaced - now she gets mid morning, mid arvo, evening and one during the night and usually she will take about 180 mls each one - I give her ones at mid-morn and mid-arvo just before she has her naps so she goes down on a full tummy and hope she sleeps a bit longer and doesn't wake from hunger - but everyone does this differently, some people give a feed straight after a meal but she won't take much then as she is too full from solids. This seems to be working okay for us so far - good luck - if you need to know anymore just ask.

Kell & AnnaT - hope you guys are on the road to recovery!

Better go and get on with the day.

    Hi all,
Just got back from my relaxing overnight at my mums. Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes. I had a nice day. Went to Eastlands shopping with my sister (Amy) . Then mum cooked a roast for dinner. After dinner I put James down and Amy and I went to the movies. The first time since before I had bub! We saw "Blades of Glory" (Amy's choice) It was quite funny. Not ususaly my sort of movie, but Amy loved it!! Then this morning James got up at about 6 am I fed him and gave him to mum and crawled back into bed until 10am! Woo Hoo. James went down like a treat for mum. Lucky because she is going to look after him when I go back to work.

Kell - Hope hubby had a great day.

Laurin - I have James in the highchair so I can have a shower. It's great isn't it???

Shell - glad to hear the bottle worked.

Belle - Hope the meds goes well for you. Fingers crossed.

I havent really read all the posts properly, anmd that is all I can remember for now. James crying so havta go..............

Nessa.. BIG :hugs: hope everythings ok hun.

AnnaT.. That sux you lost your phone. Did you upgrade early? If you did (before your original contract had run out), then you still need to pay the handset repayments from the first handset until its all covered. Sux but they changed it to this about a year ago. Use to be if you upgraded then your previous handset repayments were just automatically wiped.

Meg.. glad you had a great birthday.

Still feeling really crappy.. though im determind to get to target tomorrow. WIll have to dose up on the panadol i reckon.
Jesse started walking along the furnature today! for my clever boy.

I am still pacing the floor with Rylee to get her to sleep - I have also posted under the Gentle Sleeping - I am the only one doing this and can all your bubs put themselves to sleep - if so, I feel like a bit of a loser - hope I won't be doing this when she's 5.

Laurin- big to you. We went thru a time a few months back when Ash used to scream before all her sleeps and we ended up doing a modified version of CC. It did mean some crying but I thought she is anyway so whats the difference. I know you don't want to go down that road so I hope you find some good advice. Have you read "no cry sleep solution"? There night be ways in there you can try.
With the feeding I too give them mid morn and mid arvo before naps, I figure she has plenty solids at meal times so this is like a snack.

kell- Dose up and get in there early so you don't get to many crowds. Have fun shopping. I was contemplating going tonight, I like late night shopping but couldn't be bothered.

Meg- Glad to hear your birthday went well and yay on sleep in. Thats great too you have your mum to watch james when you go back to work. My IL's will be doing one day week watching Ash but my mum still works full time so can't use her.

Rach- have fun away, if Jase is slack with packing just don't pack anything for him, lol, that'd teach him.

AnnaT- I avail most days, maybe pick a couple dates that would suit you to come down and we can see what works then for us.

I am hoping we have better night sleep tonight, Ash's tooth still not quite thru so we might have trouble again.
