    Scones - yuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm!

Kell - James was a little rat this afternoon, but he had been up since 11:30, so exhausted. Has been waking around 9pm, so I am waiting for the cries. He is settling fairly quickly though.

James has just learnt to Kiss! They are very sloppy, but when I say to him Kiss, he gives me a big open moth sloppy on the lips! It is very cute though.

    Sleep well tonight bubbies

    Hey all,

Rach - I am sure this is a hard time of year so lots of hugs and thinking of you hun
Meg - I am addicted to face book too......in regards to Rylee's sleeps, OMG she is all over the show at the moment, her sleeping is crap - the best scenario for her is up at 8 am, nap at 1 pm - 2 pm then in bed at 8 pm - but sometimes she has an early sleep becuase she has slept so bad the night before and then falls asleep having her dinner and then doesn't go to bed until midnight - not so good........

AnnaT - hope your resting up well and getting lots of hugs from Jettstar and Ry.
Shell - sorry to hear about poor Ash - hope she gets better quick.

Well our three month visa is just about to run out so we have to leave South Africa and come back in again so Rylee and I are going to Namibia on Thursday and coming back Sunday, it is a 2 hour flight - I am dreading it - there is no way she will sleep so I will have her wriggling around on my knee....

Better go, got mums and bubs group this arvo....

stupid question I know but Jack has gone totally off solids he seriously wont eat a thing but he is still having 720ml of formula day occasionally another 120ml as well, is that enough for him

he was doing so well eatign ehaps 3 times a day bloody sickness

well I decided at 10pm to dye my hair Jase was supposed to do it for me tonight but Jack was being painful so didn't get a chance and well after I put Jack down I thought ah stuff it, and went and did it myself so am sitting here waiting till I can have a shower and wash it out

well we are off to Agnes again tomorrow, IL's are there and its raining so I doubt it will be much fun

Um.. i think thats quite alot of milk (perhaps too much?) and maybe why Jack isnt interested in solids? I think the solids are suppose to me more important in their diet at this stage. Jesse has 3x180ml bottles per day. Id maybe try and cut out a bottle or so and see if hes interested in solids again as to me it looks like he's filling up on milk? (someone correct me if im wrong). They usually say by the age of 1 they should be eating the same meals as we do. But yeh thats just my opinion

Kelly he has only in the last month started taking that much and finally we take a 180ml bottle he has always been a poor milk drinker IYKWIM, anyway he was taking the 4 180mls when he was eating fine a week ago, I think he is off his food becuase of being sick nd possibly teething, what I was wondering is the milk alone enough

Is Jack just not interested in food Rach? Maybe offer him food before formula each time?

Shell and Kell!! You guys are hopeless!! Between the two of you, you're the current champions of 5 games! Insane! Well done.

We just had C for dinner, and I helped her sign up to Bellybelly, so that other people in Melb can use her as birth support. She's just so awesome. And we made a giant cookie for dessert, and Rans put a big scoop of icecream in the middle and we all dug in with spoons. Mmm. She tried to feel how high my uterus was, but reckons it's still too low/deep. It's nice to have my own personal midwife!

Might head to bed, slept in waaay too much this morning. The dishes can wait. Hope everyone's well!

Yeah I told her that Ness, but everyone's different. Also, how long did you breastfeed for? Cos I know breastfeeding helps the uterus shrink back to it's original position, so perhaps because I breastfed for ages (well, still am b/fing) that makes a difference? She said something about maybe it being too deep or something too. I don't remember. And you've had one more kiddo than me by now too. She thought mine should be above undie line too, but also said that it's hard to tell in the first tri anyway.

Maz I have tried offering food but he is not interested in reality he doesn't even ask for a bottle, never has really I give him the morning one straight away and his evening one but the other 2 after I have tried to no avail to get him to eat anything, I think its cause he is sick and I am sure from the amount of drool he is also teething, he did last thursday nite bite his tongue so hard it was swollen and bruised maybe its still sore, I might post in the feeding forum see what some of them say thanks girls

    Rylee!!!

    Thats cool guys.
Happy Birthday to Rylee!!!! Have a great day.
Rach ruby has more milk and less solids if sick or teething.Yesterday hardly ate any food and after i tried topped her up with the bottles. She was very hot last night and there is a tooth coming though.Wouldnt eat dinner at all.But im sure she will make up for it when better.I dont see the big deal unless its happening for months.Just try food first then top up if needed.
