Just a quicky to say good morning sunshine to everyone...we have a ped's appontment for Wilhelm this morning and I have some questions to ask about this baby.

Morning girls, just wondering how many of you are giving their babies cows milk now and how do you know if they have an allergic reaction? Julia wouldnt stop screaming yesterday arvo/night until bedtime not sure if she was just chucking tanty or doesnt like milk..

can't help Belle Jack is on stage 2 formula and I plan on leaving him on it for a good 6 mths or so sorry!!!!

well I am still excited about my little neice got so much to do today finish the washing vac and wash floors, tidy mums room and make bed etc, fold clothes do some ironing, cook a roast and all the trimmings and pack for rocky *whew* I'm tired just writing all that down

Belle - Julia is unlikely to be 'allergic' to cows' milk since she's been having cows' milk based formula for some time and a truly allergic bub would react to that. She might be intollerant to something in cows' milk tho - I know Xander has problems digesting it. Maybe try a 50/50 watered down mix today and see if it happens again? If so, just stick with the formula a bit longer. I actually did the math not long ago, with the price of milk in Perth, it is actually a lot cheaper to use formula!!!! So much for everyone saying cows' milk is cheaper.

Jetts been transitioning to milk since about 10mths. He's intolerant to cows milk though so we were using soy but now use lactose free. I just did 1/2 formula 1/2 milk, one bottle a day for about 3 wks then shifted to 2 bottles a day, then did 1 full bottle of milk for his lunch feed (warmed up a bit), now he has 2 bottles of full milk, 2 bottles of 1/2 milk 1/2 formula (at night). She may be a little intolerant to cows milk Belle, has she had any weird poo's or spit ups? Thats what Jett does when he has it (that AND the cows milk formula!) which is why he's been on lactose free formula/milk.

Just got back from playgroup. We had a great time. James is the youngest there, but it was great socialisation to get him to sit up at the table and watch the big kids. I am definitely going back next week.

Wilhelm doesnt have epilepsy! Wooo HOOO! But I have a high chance of having another boy with autisum..hmmm trying again not to think about it. His Ped was so happy with him and his progress....also happy that ive already got school organised for next year for him. Just gave me a referal for more speech therapy...we need approx 6 sessions at $75 each...thank god we get $90 a fortnight for him. And of course Vy stole the doctors heart...little rat bag ended up sittin gon his lap and giggling with him.

Thanks for the info of the cows milk girls. she seems ok today its really weird. I ate something yesterday or it could be the new shampoo I have I have broken out in a rash all over my back, chest and face and arms AUGHHH so ITCHY.... fingers crossed it goes away for Julia's party on Sunday dont want to look like a spotty monster..

Shell - they are still investigating where the wire/nail came from.......but head office called me to say it wasnt from the bakery they think it was from the products from supplier but have to investigate further....

Hey all,

Back on board, just a quick one, havn't really had time to read much..got back last night, Rylee was fine on both plane trips - did a big poo yesterday on the plane coming back - stunk - embarrassment for me....they don't have baby change tables on these tiny planes so it was awkward to change her but we got there. Anyway, we are fine, I have a uni assignment due Friday so a bit stressed.

Hey there all, feeling better this arvo. MS witch has well and truely arrived and I spend most days sipping water or Ginger Beer and avoiding doing as much as possible. Bit hard with an almost 12 month old DEVIL!

Happy Birthday to all the babies I missed the past few days. I hope you had fantastic birthdays, were showered with gorgeous gifts and slept well that night! Hugs to the mummies!

Well, gotto go and get ready to go and tame my eye brows. They are very overdue! LOL

Belle.. Jesses on 2 bottles cows milk and 1 bottle formula atm (until the tin runs out). I started him last week on 1 bottle cows, he was fine, didnt even notice the difference, then went to 2 bottles cows a week after. But yeh we're just waiting for the formula to be used up and then he'll be on cows fulltime.

Meg.. great to hear playgroup went so well! Yeh Jesse is the oldest in our mums group but i figure in another 6 months time or so, theyll all be around the same stage anyways once theyre all walking etc.

Maz.. crusty boggers? im gathering you mean boogers.. cos otherwise that would be quite painful if you had crusty bogs

Still no sign of my wallet. Was hoping someone may have gone into centre management either today or yesterday being it wasnt open over the weekend but nope. I just like to know who has my wallet. Who is sitting there looking through it, look at my photos of Jesse and Grahame.. thats what upsets me the most. Even though Jesse's photos are online, i dunno, just different.. just feels like someone has a piece of me yeh yeh i know, ill stop about it now

Kell totally know where your comin from.Last yr my mums bag was stolen and in it was a gold sovergin my sis/bro bought my mum for her 5oth.She only had it in there becuase the day before she was looking for a holder to go with it.Very sentimental and worth $250 plus money etc. She was crying heaps! and i was upset the gift was stolen.But yeah how dare they and hope they get bad karma back.

Jett would like to thank everyone for his birthday present! Our lovely Maz, on behalf of you all, bought him a cool t-shirt that says "Playground Casanova" on it and a Leapfrog learning house with little blocks that go in the house and say words, sing about words - Jetts been playing with it all afternoon A very appropriate present as I was only say to Ry last night that I want to make a more concious effort to increase his vocab!
