Maz - any goss from Sydney you want to share with us.

Hi to everyone else and hoping all the pg ladies are going well.

We are fine. DH has gone up to Malawi yesterday. Rylee is fine, won't go to bed until 11 pm at night but this is something I need to try and sort out myself, little ratbag. Ambz - Savanna sounds like she is in great routine with two lots of 2-3 hourly sleeps, wow - you are lucky.

Better go, bbl, have a good one!

Nessa, I know it is late, it drives me insane, she just won't seem to calm down in the evenings, hyper active, no matter what time her last nap is during the day, she just won't settle......I don't know, I am hoping it is just phase she is going through......

yeah, I think it stems from not having enough sleep in the day - she will wake after 45 mins and won't resettle and then she goes into an overtired mode - so I am trying to work on her day sleeps to get her back to sleep and hoping it will have an affect on nighttime. I am at my wits ends as I have uni assignments due and can't start on them until 11 pm at night - it is crazy - TBH I am scared of having another baby now or being pregnant with her like this but I know it won't last forever....

Nessa.. hope annikas ok.. theyre a real worry arent they these kids!

Laurin.. thank you. What time is Rylee waking up? Shes just a midnight party animal!

Well had a lovely day but by the time i got home felt like absolute crap. Have started taking some cold and flu tablets in hope i dont get it as bad as grahame just had is. I have the worst headache, throat is getting more swollen.. damn flu!
Jess is having his 1 year needles tomorrow. Not looking forward to it.

Does anyone else use Huggies nappies? My girlfriend's son and now Jesse have both started getting a rash around the front top of the nappy. Im wondering if theyve changed their dyes or something. Its only under the nappy, not up his chest or back or anything so im gathering thats just what its from. Will show the doc tomorrow when he gets his needles. Have just put some papaw on it, hopefully that helps.

Belle use lansohol (the stuff for cracked nipples) about $7 for a 25grm tube but you use such a tiny amount it goes a long way her little botbot will heal up over night, Jack had the runs from anti bi so bad it was more like a burn was raw in spots one day of this and clear as

well I am enjoying mum being here we had a great day went out to visit a friend then decided to drive 45min to theodore to habve a look then we drove another 30kms to see my great great grandparents old property but the owners weren't home we wanted to visit the family cemetary but we will go back another day

Kellxx - With the nappies... are they really wet in the morning (from overnight)? If so, maybe it's the wee causing the rash. Xander is mostly in cloth, but if I put him in a sposie overnight, he gets the same rash. That being said, the only sposie we have are Huggies.

Belle - If you still have Lasinoh left from breastfeeding... give it a go. I use the Gaia lotion on Xander as he has really sensitive skin. As to the runny poos, hate to say it, but it does sound like something viral (unless she's eaten something new?). Try not to stress hon. When Xander had gastro, he was pretty much fine other than the runny bum.

Ness - What are the antibiotics for? They can't fix viral illness... has she got a bacterial infection?

Laurin - I'm with Ness, I think she might be overtired. If I don't put Xander to bed at 7 - 7.30pm, he turns totally hyper!

Jodi - How's the pregnancy going? No m/s I hope! Wow, to be sitting in fans, we still have the heater on here.

Maz - How was your trip to Melbourne?

Nelle - Glad you are starting to feel better!

Big hellos to those I missed today... hope you are all well!

    Hi all,
Had a quiet day today. Picked up a few party supplies for the weekend.

Laurin - Hmm. You must be exhausted, and being by yourself a lot of the time must be difficult.

Belle - Do you think it is from the introduction of cows milk?

Kell - Hope you are not getting sick.

Rach - glad you are having a good time with your mum.

James is also off for his needles tomorrow. Poor little darling. Kell, thinking of Jesse as well as they have their needles *together*

kel - I use Huggies and don't have a problem with them. Good luck with the needles tomorrow.

Anna - so far so good. No symptoms yet (thank god!) although I would like something to reassure me that I am pg. At the moment I keep doing HPT just to make sure
How are you and Xander going?

belle - Nina had that about 2 weeks ago. She did about 6 poos in one day, and got the redest bum from it. She had a nasty rash for a few days too. I gave her heaps of nappy free time. Pretty much the only time she wore a nappy was to bed, or if we went out.

rach - you're certainly getting around ATM aren't you! Have fun shopping tomorrow.

Laurin - what's her day routine like? Wake up time, sleep times etc. Let us know and we'll see if we can help you out.
    Nina's routine is:
    wakes between 7.30-8.00
    brekkie within the hour
milk at around 11am when she has her 1st nap
Lunch within the hour of waking
milk at around 2.30-3.00 when she has her 2nd nap (if she decides to have it, that is),
    dinner at 6.00'ish
    bed between 7.30-8.00
She doesn't wake during the night. She'll have a 1.5-2 hour sleep in the morning, and I won't let her sleep more than an hour in the afternoon, otherwise she won't go to bed till very late.

caddie - we got to 28/29 today, stinking bl**dy hot it is! I'm dreading summer. I was silly enough to go for a walk this afternoon, and it was sooooo hot, thank god I had a pool to jump into when I got home.

helen - how's everything going with the house?

ETA: good luck with his needles tomorrow Meg.

Hey - just another question to all My next door neighbour just told me her 2 year old possibly has measles. James was playing with her last Tuesday, and the measles came out last Wednesday. Should I be concerned that James will get it??

Meg - I think it takes 14 days from contagious to get it... so you wont know yet...they are contagious until they get the measles I think, I asked this question when Julia was in the waiting room with someone with measles or chicken pox, cause I freaked out. How long were they together? did they share toys?

Thanks for the info re Julia girls, will see how she goes tomorrow, got mothers group tomorrow...going to put off the dreaded 1 year needles until next week I think.

    Have a good night girls.

MAZ - did you get the pics of the cute dress and skirt with the leggins I was eyeing off in Target??

That's a good idea to put off the needles Belle, til you're sure Miss Goolia's all well. Riv's poo goes a little green from cows milk (I think that's it anyway) but not runny at all...could be a combo of a bug or teething for the runniness?

Meg, doesn't sound like there's much you can do apart from keep James from being too social for 14ish days, or until you find out whether your neighbour's got the measles. Hopefully it's something else.

Ohh Jodi, I'd love some more warm weather here.

I use Gaia soothing lotion on River's bot (like Anna) and it always clears it up. Fixes up his dry skin too. See how paw paw or lansinoh go though. At least a good barrier might give the skin a chance to heal.

Laurin, could you try putting Rylee to bed early? Sounds like she's overtired? That's easier said than done though, I know, because you'll have a few days of whinging cos she doesn't want to go down yet.

Oh, headache coming on, cos I can't find my glasses...they've been missing for ages! I might be back later.

    HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY ASH PASH!!!

Lots of sloppy kisses from Jessman!!!

Anna.. he does wee alot over night yes. Most of it broke out yesterday actually. Im wondering if its a bit of heat rash too. Dont know what else to do about it.

Belle.. teething? Can do that to her poo.

Meg.. hope James is ok with his needles today. Im going solo with Jess. Grahame has come every other time so mummy will need to be brave! Yeh i think its just a waiting game with the measles. Maybe talk to your doc when youre there today as they do get the MMR at 12 months.

Anyways best get ready. Feeling a little better over night. Hopefully the tablets are kicking it before it gets up.

Hope you all have a great day!

went to the doctors yeterday, caitlyn has echzma, anyway go to get my bloods done.

chrissy..i did a hpt on thursday and got a light line ( no way im gonna tell him i have done 8 hpt all positive)
doctor..well a light line is a positive, i will do a urine test.
    (doc does test)
doctor..i can see a very faint line, but we cant call it a postive( only after around 1 minute)
chrissy..i think to myself didnt you just tell me a faint line is a positve.
doctor..takes my blood, then goes to look at test again, i cant call it a positive the line is still not that dark.
chrissy.. so can i run a marathon then?
doctor..ponders on that and says well i can presume you are pregant, but very early, then finally he shows me the test.
chrissy.. well there is definatly 2 lines there, its not even faint.
doctor.. yes but its not as dark as the control line

Okay, have been in recover mode since Baileys Birthday party! LOL I quickly skimmed through for a quick update and must say CONGRATS TO YOU JODI!!!!!!

Chrissy - Maybe you should have told your doctor about all the tests you have done!!! Hope all goes well for you, don't think you posted anything about the results??? Like I said I skimmed through....

Kell - any news on your birth cert? What a bummer. I had that happened, well Mum did when I joined up for netball when I was 7 years old. Hugs to jess when he has his needles.

We're booked in for next week as well as to see the CHN.

to Ash. and all the others I missed over the weekend. I hope you had a great Birthday and were all spoilt rotten!!!!! he he he

Nelle - how good is that Gaia lotion. I get eczema on my face and it works wonders. Gone over night in most cases. The good thing to is it is safe to use when pregnant. Also coz my sense of smell is like a hound dogs atm, I put the cream on Baileys butt after a dirty nappy to mask to 'smell'!

Well, I am hungry again so I might todle off to find some more food.

    have a great day all.

    HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY ASHLEIGH DARLING

Chrissy - OMG at that dr! A line is a line, regardless of how faint it is. I'm crossing all my fingers the b/t will come back as a positive, which I'm sure it will. When will the results be in, today or tomorrow?

Vixstar - how was Bailey's birthday party?

belle - what time is mothers group, and what time is the best time to call? Nina is a lot happier after a full night sleep last night.
