OMG Nessa I am shocked to hear about that. It musnt feel good having been fobbed off like that, it's not fair. If you still feel bad, go back to hospital and if you feel up to it demand to talk to your midwife. They cannot tell you to risk your baby like that. Surely they can be more supportive even if there is nothing they can do.

Nelle-Hehe at you waddling, I saw your tummy and it is so compact. You must be carrying the baby fully up and down. Glad to hear that things are going well. Well I have to say that Me, DH, Bella and Eithan are all addicted to frozen coke and raspberry from Maccas. We cannot get one in front of Eithan he goes mental screaming for it.

Caddie-Bella is a lot better. Eithan has got a cold at the moment so he is a big dribbling, crusty snot terror at the moment. Things are slowly getting better. How are the girls going?

Laurin-Wow that is great news that you are back in Melbourne with all of your stuff. It must be hard though with the commuting for DH. Oh well at least you guys will build up the frequent flyers. I hope everything is going well.

So have you Melbourne ladies sorted out yourselves a meet up yet?

Well ther are lots of things happening that I cant talk about on a public forum, but what I can tell you is that things have been really bad but not just for me. At the moment I am dealing with an irregular heartbeat. It was really bad last week and I was hooked up to an ecg monitor. It left after a good nights sleep but it has started again yest and is continuing on and off. I havent been back to the dr yet, I will wait and see how I go. The dr is pretty sure it is due to stress. I dont feel stressed though. My chest is just constantly aching.

The kids are both good. We moved Bella to a new school this yr to start prep and she is absolutely thriving. We love it. A boy gave her flowers today and she brought them home and put them straight in water. Awwww it is so cute. She doesnt know is name, she said he hasnt told her yet.

Anyways enough from me, hope you are all well.

    Love

Great to see you back Helen. Sorry to hear not all is well with you. We should all have a msn chat one night to catch up on everyone, and everything.
And how cute about bella and her boyfriend

nessa - I'm really shocked that they'd give you Tremadol. Good luck next time you see your midwife. She sounds a lot more understanding than that hospital. How are the pains you've been getting, still coming reguarly?

maz - I feel awful at the moment, but unfortunately I've got to keep going. Nina is definitely coming down with something and is being extremely unsettled and clingy with me. She was up at 4.30 this morning, and didn't really get back to sleep. Hopefully tonight will be a better night for me. How are Vy and Mateauz going after their needles?

annat - moving to Qld mid year is definitely the best time of year. Up here, we do get a winter, but nothing like what any of you guys get. In the 9 years I've been in Cairns, the coldest it's got in winter is 7 degrees. It's the summer that's gonna really knock you around. Especially in Townsville. Townsville is a dry heat, whereas Cairns is all humidity. Dunno which one is worth actually. Both places get very hot.

Ness- I'm just assuming here that Tremadol you mean Tramadol? Thats a pretty strong pain killer, I'm surprised they recommend it, I think its a Catergory C class, yeah I just looked up catergory C class says
" Drugs which, owing to their pharmacological effects, have caused or may be suspected of causing, harmful effects on the human fetus or neonate without causing malformations. These effects may be reversible. Accompanying texts should be consulted for further details."
So I definately wouldn't be happy in taking it. Doesn't sound like they treayed you too well.

HelenP- Oh no that doesn't sound good at all, are you seeing a cardiologist? Like Jodi suggested we'll have to have msn night one night to catch up on everything. How cute bella got given flowers. I hope all the other issues going on aren't anything too serious, big hugs to you, you haven't had the best of luck with things in the past few months.

Ness- Was just doing bit more research, if the pain is really quite strong you'd be better off taking panadeine as Codeine is catergory A drug. (and there isn't all tha much codeine in panadeine there is alot more in the panadeine forte).

Well i did speak to my midwife, she rang me as soon as she realised they let me go. Theye didnt even tell her i was there which they are meant to do.

I spoke to her about the tremadal and she said unfort that sometimes you have to weigh up the risks and with my headaches and rising BP without the tremadol the same sideeffects can occur if its not treated. so yeah its kinda dont treat it and it could happen or treat it and it could happen. but the chance of the med doing somehting are extremly low and because they know i am taking them they are aware of the signs to look for.

still i would have like to been informed of those risks first.

any way my midwife is doing a full examine and bloods on tuesday and if i get a headache again she want to know immediatly. she said this time she will take me down there herself. oh i am so glad to have her

Helen- you take care of yourself!!!!!!

ETA- yeah shell thats the stuff!!! They did recommend panadine and yeah it did nothing fdor my headache at all. Yeah i wont be taking it again. just too risky IMO, thanks for looking that up for me!!!

    Hey kids.

Tired here, missed the arvo nap, so bed soon for me! Had a hospy appt today, same old same old.

Helen, eugh on the irregular heartbeat. My MIL had one of those (this is a simplified version, don't know exactly what was wrong) and now she's got a defribrilator in her chest, it's never gone off, but it will if her heart plays up too much. Big hugs on all the other stuff, you know my email if you need, always enjoy hearing from you.
And awwwwww on Bella's flowers from the boy. So cute that she doesn't know his name yet!! I thought it was the girl who was supposed to maintain the air of mystery!

Ness, honestly, you poor thing. Hope you can kick back as much as possible to keep that b/p down. Go sit in your fridge or something, doesn't being cold slow down the heartrate? You can trust Dr. Nelle on this one...hehe.

Jodi, hope you get better soon. Seriously, go to the dr if you feel you aren't improving quickly, I was really impressed that my dr took me seriously because I was pregnant. Better to get stronger (though safe!) meds, or injections than get super sick and need ages to recover.

My butt's sore, I'm sitting on the floor, because Ran's computer stool's uncomfy, and I'm not on the laptop because yesterday the cable got jammed in the recliner and sliced through! Just so thankful no-one got electrocuted! So Rans has ordered a new cable, and I'm borrowing my mum's tomorrow to recharge the laptop, but yeah, it's really uncomfy to use Ran's computer!!

Big hello and hugs to everyone I've missed! Really like our little community, the way we can catch up on each other and support each other. High fives all round!

The AB's have definitely kicked in for Nina. She's 100% on what she was this week. Heath and my dad are busy painting Emily's room, and we'll set it up tomorrow. About time hey!

Gotta run, my muffins are ready to come out of the oven.
