Nelle- Great to hear from you, just read your story in the other thread and omg the drama! Think your birth story could be re-enacted for tv! Glad everything has settled now and you've made it back home. How is Si going with BFing now? So your still bleeding alot? They gonna keep close eye on you?
Helen, I love the pic in your sig. so cute in that carrier.
-
The bleeding's settled, think being cleared out by the doc helped a lot - though as b/fing improves, the bleeding and cramps have upped a bit, but I'm trying to see that as an encouraging sign that Si is feeding well. I'm just favouring the less sore boob and expressing from the other for this arvo/tonight to give it a rest, and then I'll start back up again tomorrow - courage, courage, and clenching of teeth will be needed for that nipple methinks. :p
Oh yeah Helen, definitely get stuck into the Kiwifruit, mum and dad have a vine (technically theirs are Chinses gooseberries, but they're exactly the same, just skinner), and yeah, I remain untouched by them, but I remember Dad can only eat 2 at a time. :D
-
Great to *see* you in here so quickly after Silas was born!
Helen - Hope you are feeling better soon.
Shell- Do you need me to get anything from Spotlight for you? I am going to be near Spotlight tomorrow, and I will be in Altona on Thursday. So if you do want me to get anything for you, I could leave it with my friend in Altona and you could pick it up after work one day.
How is everyone else going?
Laurin - Has the news of a new bub sunk in?
AnnaT - Your new is just awesome!
Rach, Caddie, Jodi, Maz, Annie, Belle, Rikki, Ness, Kell, Chrissy, Shar, Marni, *anna*... and I am sure that I have forgotten someone!!!
-
Meg- Thanks for the offer, our main prob is just finding material in right color and thickness. My friend is just gonna keep looking.
Nelle- That brought back memories of first BFing, I used to get the worst cramps so bad at times it felt like labour all over again. So Si must be feeding well.
-
I think the morning sickness has kicked in, I woke up at 3 am and vomited twice and then once more this morning - is it normal to vomit in the middle of the night.....I have got an appointment at the doctors on Friday anyway.
Nelle - that's the great thing about bf'ing it helps the uterus get back into shape quickly, all those pains are the uterus contracting back - yucky at the time though. What does Riv think of the new bub?
AnnaT - any more news, I am looking forward to you being my belly buddy. When I first tested the lines were very very very faint, and three days later you could see them clearly.
Shell - not a good day for the Zoo it is a real blustery day isn't it. Great you got your bridesmaid dress sorted, one thing to tick off the list.
Helen - hope your feeling better.
BBL - have a nice day girls, if your in Melb keep warm.
Laurin x
-
Tested again this morning with a Crystal Clear test and got a faint line. I just dont know what to think though, past experiences are making me nervous and worried so I wont be happy til AF goes MIA and I get a dark BFP *sigh* Id say Im pregnant though because Ive got cramps, my boobs are sore, I feel nauseous and Im biting the head off anyone who looks at me, so I reckon we will be BB Laurin :)
-
AnnaT - as the other girls said "a line is a line" I think it is just a matter of days for for the pg hormone to to get higher and it is still very early for you. Did you say your 10 dpo yesterday ???
-
Nelle - good to see you are back home I hope settling in with Silas goes well. Its normal with BF to get the cramping. Julia also favoured one boob when BF too I did what you did too cause the other was sore. Hope you have a good day.
Laurin - mate, I threw up at any time really with this pregnancy, never with Julia though. Every pregnancy different...
AnnaT - fingers crossed with strong BFP mate!
Back later girls gotta rest for a while. Hello to everyone.

Laurin- With Ash I found I'd get m/s whenever I was tired so mainly came of an evening, its funny how it works, I hope you don't have it for long.
Hasn't even rained yet so even though so windy we could've gone to zoo, oh well hopefully friday. Took Ash to her fav park she always chucks bit tanty when its time to go. But is one best kids playgrounds.
-
Nelle - Great to see you!!! The afterpains are worse with each subsequent baby - with Ambah, I thought I was still in labour for a couple of weeks after!!!!!! Hope you're having a great babymoon - is Rans on holidays?
AnnaT - :stickyvibesgirl: Hope your :bfp: is stronger soon for you.

I noticed when she was pooing it was bubbling out liquid too...she now has a nappy rash. so got a doctors appointment later today. im so exhausted and tense..i hope she settles soon :( poor darling i cant even imagine how much pain she must be in.
i have decided to send savanna to my cousins house 3 days a week during the day...
my aunty has come from overseas for a year and is looking for kids to babysit for some extra money.. perfect timing and just want i needed. she loves her cousins Shania & Teneal and so im sure she will be fine there. Today is the first day so fingers crossed...

Huge hugs Ambz. Hoping that everything gets sorted out for you soon.

-
Good luck at the dr's ambz. Let us know how you go.
-
Ambz - Did you look into North Park to try and get her into an better sleep routine?
Part of our roof has blown off in the wind. We have managed to patch the hole and had to lug sandbags on the roof to hold it down...
Everyone left work early today, as the roads were so dangerous. Hoping all you Vic girls are safe.
-
Ambz - hugs to you, it is hard isn't it, I really hope that once the lactose has cleared out of her system she is sleeping better and is more settled.
Meg - it is a blustery day, we havn't had power since 1 pm and it has only just gone back on. Today was pretty crap, I vomited a few more times, some times didn't make it to the bathroom so was doing alot of floor cleaning and if I stood up to long I would start to black out, no energy whatsoever, I am really hoping tomorrow is a better day :) I had to ask the guy who came to put the curtain rails up if he had a box of matches I could have as I didn't have any, thankfully he did so we had the candles going.
Hope everyone is safe with this storm.

Laurin - How did you go looking after Rylee all day? Poor chicken. You must be exhausted.
How long till DH back?
ETA - I just realised that this is post 1000 for me :)
-
did anyone see my posts?
Anyhoo hope u are all well
-
The weather been shocking hasn't it. We had to pick up friend of Df's from airport, little did we know bout westgate and bolte bridge been part blocked, took us 3 hours to get there and back.
Meg- bloody hell bout your roof. Hopefully you'll be able to get someone out to fix it soonish. Yeah I heard lots people were leaving work early just to get home. Was scaring me that wind.
Laurin- When does your Dh get back again? You might have to get a bucket to carry round with you. You get your power back yet?
Ambz- How did the Dr appt go? Lots big hugs coming your way. I hope you can sort something out, has she settled at all with the meds or still the same level of unsettledness? Its great you have supportive family round to help you out.
-
Sorry to be a me post but OMG we are pretty sure that Eithan has swollowed a bead. It's not just a normal bead though its onw that goes on the pandora bracelets. It has 5 stones in it and made from silver. I am pretty sure that it will pass through him ok , but I am still quite worried. We are hoping to get him into the dr tomorrow anyway as his lip is still stuck and he crys now whenever we touch his mouth, so hoping that the dr can help us out.
Leith saw him with my bracelet in his mouth and heard something rattling against his teeth, but when he went to get it out he found nothing and we cant find it on the floor so I think he has swollowed it.
Sorry to hear you roof has come off Meg, hope the power is back on Laurin, Shell that is awful getting stuck in traffic, hiya Belle.
Love
-
omg Belle, hope that Eithen is ok ? any luck finding the bead??
i am pretty sure i had a miscarrage last week, i only had a really faint line on a HPT but i also had a +OPK that i had used as a test as i had run out of HPT! anyway, before i could get into the DR for a BT AF arrived! so still really not sure.. anyway, maybe next month!
hope that everyone else is well..
We have news from Nelle , HI!!!, any word from Nessa???
-
Sorry to hear that annie.Maybe a chemical pregnancy? Hope its your turn next.
Ness is going well s far as i know.Millana is feeding well and had put on weight.Annika had an ear infection but they had ab's for it.
Helen, hope eithan is ok? No signs of the bead?
Annat you test again yet?
-
helen, when nicole was toilet training, and we lived on the farm, i found a poo she had offloaded under a tree, with colours in it, i investigated a little more, only to find 4 beads ( the type i put in on top of pretnd flower pots inside) they were bright blue, i have no idea how she got them, but they were rather large, luckily they came out, with no probalms..i hope eithan is ok.
annie..sorry to hear about your chemical preganacy.
laurin..hope the morning sickness isnt to bad.
just had my midwives appointment, she is telling the doctors to induce at 38weeks, as everthing is pointing to that
quick labours
live 1 hour from hospital
possible heart problams with liam
38 years old
#7 baby
.....so pretty happy with that
-
chrissy - that's fantastic news!! You must feel so relieved now. Even I was a little worried at the thought that they wouldn't induce you.
annie - I'm sorry to hear that. Are you ok about it all?
belle - are you ok?
helen - that must be pretty scary. Has he passed it yet?
Not much happening here today. I had an awful sleep due to pains, and Nina woke up early this morning (well, at 7.30, but that's early for me!!). She's currently watching Teletubbies, which I absolutely detest. But she turned the channel and found it  She really wanted to watch some cartoons and that's all that's on ATM.
laurin - hang in there. With my pregnancy with Nina, I vomited ALL the time. And it would come up so quickly. I had many accidents while driving in the car, or on the lounge. I never had warning, it would just come up. And it was any time of day and night. It was awful! Hopefully yours goes away after the first trimester. I can only imagine how hard it is to have bad m/s with a toddler running around.
meg - bummer about your roof coming off! Luckily it was only part of the roof. Hopefully it won't take long to get replaced. We've been very lucky this year and haven't had any cyclones  I hate our wet season.
-
no im not ok. i feel like im not acknowledged anymore and it upsets me atm.
-
Belle - I sent you a PM last night - did you get it??
Annie - :goodluck: Good luck for next month hun.
AnnaT - Did you test again??
Helen - When Bre was about 4, she swallowed a huge gem thing off a tiara - I absolutely freaked, Aaron was perfectly calm, and she passed it the next day with no problems.
-
Belle sorry you feel that way. What is wrong? Are you worried about the pregnancy? I havnt actually read anywhere what the problem is but air it out. If not Pm someone. We will try and help you if we knew what was wrong.
Chrissy that is great regarding being induced.I wouldnt want you having it in the shower like nelle.lol
Pains jodi? Sounds promising.lol
Well i was up from 130am to 3am.Millana woke the house up because she wanted in our bed when we trying to get her out.Ruby woke of course and would not settle.Oh the joys.Im sure a new born would be easier than my kids.Even my parents reckon they are hyper active.lol
-
hi Girls
Belle - how are you feeling, I have gone back through the thread but can't find if you put how you were feeling down, let us know how we can help :)
Helen - how is poor little Eithan, I hope the bead passes soon and puts your mind at rest.
Chrissy - very happy you will be induced, that must make you feel a heap better about things.
Jodi - hope you catch up on some sleep today.
Caddie - I know what you mean about Millana wanting to be in your bed, I still havn't cracked the code with Rylee coming into my bed in the middle of the night.
Annie - so sorry to hear about your miscarriage
Feeling better today, just tired but at least I can keep food down, even managed to do some housework.
Okay, hi to Maz, Nelle, Shell, Ambz, AnnaT, Anna**, Kell, Meg, Mum3girls.....
Laurin x
ETA - I have got my first Dr's appointment tomorrow, imagine if he says "um no sorry your not pregnant".....surely after 6 pos HPT's I can't be wrong?????
-
Laurin - I am pretty sure that they will say +++
Annie - FIngers crossed that next month is your BFP
Caddie - J was up a bit last night, but nothing like what was happening at your house!
Helen - I hope the bead passes soon. If you are worried, call the MCHN hotline.
Jodi - I wish J would wake up at 7:30! That's a sleep in here! I hope the pains have settled.
Chrissy - If you are induced, by the time I get back from London, you will have Liam home with you.
Belle ??? I am not sure what you mean by feeling not acknowledged. I can't find any posts where you have indicated that things aren't going well. I hope all is good, and Julia and Tara are well.
Just got back form the Vic Market, so we are going to have a lovely dinner or Tandoori Chicken and savory rice. I have got as far as steaming the rice, just got to find the motivation to do the rest.
-
meg ...think I will be coming to your place for dinner tonight, sounds alot yummier than my pummpkin soup and sausages and mash...
-
hi ladies just a quick update as ive got the flu now so feeling crap..
took tia to doctors yesterday for follow up..
forgot she was due for needles so i was by myself with no support person... god i was a wreck.. when doc asked me how she's going i just broke down could hardly talk!
anyways ... it seems even though i feel im getting no where .. the zantac is working as she is able to take feed without much trouble. before she wouldnt even drink.. so thats a plus.
she has up'd the dosage according to her weight and has now put her on prescribed formula called Pepti Junior formula. Its damn expensive.. the size of a small milo tin and yet $20 per tin. but if on prescription its much cheaper. anyway the cost means nothing if it means getting my lil one better!
i still have to add thickener to the bottle.. its a little fidgedy getting it all ready but im willing to do whatever it takes.
Last night she slept pretty well...i dont want to jinx anything though..
she seems alot more content now when awake after a feed.. she will talk and laugh smile and just be happy... such a change from a crying hysterical baby only last week. before i could not put her down after a feed she'd be in so much pain!
a happy baby really does make a happy mummy. Having savanna at my aunty's during the day also helps me to get a break. When steve gets home from work i go and drop savanna and leave him with tiarna and they get a little father daughter bonding. He commented that she is laughing and talking to him and i cant describe how great that made me feel to see that he noticed.. before he would come home and go straight to bed! so this is working pretty ok so far...lets keep fingers crossed.
im so so sorry i havent done personals in a while i hope you all understand.
i am attending a sleep settling school tomorrow in koo wee rup so gotta be out of the house by 7am. arghhh so early!
wish me luck !
luv ambz

I did m23girls and its def a BFP, the line is darker today, can see it without squinting :)
Put a pic in the gallery.
Oh and DH knows too, he said he wasnt surprised. We're not going to tell anyone until I get an u/s in 2 or so weeks to see a heartbeat.
-
I can see a line annat. Congrats!
Meg when you going to london? I cant remember?
-
I too can see a line!
I leave for London on 18th April. We will be gone for 4.5 weeks. We are going on the way via KL, and coming home via Japan. While we are in the UK, we will also be visiting Scotland and Ireland, as well as a weekend to Spain (a friend has a house there)
So all in all a full on few weeks.
Shell - If it would help, do you want me to look at Spotlight for some fabric?
-
belle, hope your ok hun thinking of you
maz, I GOT IT........wow you are fab woman.....I LOVE IT ALL
-
ambz, that is fantastic news so far. Like you said, a happy baby is a happy mum, which is the most important thing. You sound so much happier in your post too. So much more relaxed. Best of luck at the sleep school tomorrow. I hope it works for you.
-
:happyforyou: Woohoo AnnaT!!! I can see the line if I tilt my head to the right
Ambz - Sounds like things are starting to look up - that's so great hun. You forget so quickly how much hard work newborns can be, hey? It's all worth it when you get those gorgeous little smiles that just melt your heart :D Good luck for tomorrow
-
Another flyby, Si's snoozing so I've just realised it'd be smart for me to nick off and do a similar thing.
Perhaps it's just one of those 'moments' in our thread Belle, I know I've been somewhat self-focussed lately and a few others going through stuff have been too. Let us know how we can support you though, just cos I have my head in the sand a bit doesn't mean everyone does.
Ooer, my mum's on the phone. Later! xo
-
$hit hot Chrissy - super glad that it got to you hun
-
Wow AnnaT!!! Congrats.. i hope all is well with the pregnancy .. xoxo
