Nelle- I was wondering last night what Silas meant cause I passed a sign on way home from work saying St Silas church and thought Oh he must be a saint.
Annie- Sorry to hear bout the m/c. How you feeling about it?
Meg- Thanks but they finally found the fabric they wanted costed arm and leg too, this bridesmaid business it getting quite costly! God so close now til your trip I might jump in your suitcase I've always wanted to go to England.
AnnaT- Yes I think I can actually see the line this time, congrats!
Ambz- How is everything been? Has Tia settled alot since the new formula and meds increase? Its great to hear she's been alot happier lately sounds like things are going in the right direction, soon this will all be a distant memory and you'll have a happy settled baby.
Laurin- how did your appt go? I was like that with my first u/s thinking that they were gonna say umm theres nothing there! You working on any particular strategy with the getting Rylee into her own bed all night? Hows the m/s?
HelenP- Has the bead come out the othe end? And hows the lip? Has the Dr sorted it out?
Chrissy- Thats great they're going to induce you, they'd be crazy not to with your history.
belle- How are you today? I'm sorry that you feel you're being ignored. I do try to include everyone.
We've been to the zoo today. Was quite nice. Ash got tired and bit grumpy so we had to leave before we saw everything but did get to see what we wanted. She is now still awake playing around, had a second wind or something! I do hope she has some sort of nap or she'll be terrible tonight.
-
man it is quiet in here today, so I will do a post to liven things up NOT......
Shell - did Ash settle down after her big day at the zoo, she would have loved it I bet.
Helen - any news on the bead?
Ambz - great to hear things are getting better, good idea to have Savannah looked after for a few days a week, will give you those days just to concentrate on you and Tia and she will love being with other kids as well, hopefully she will come home very tired and fall asleep easily. How did the sleep school go?
AnnaT - how are you doing???
Hey, can someone enlighten me on why Nessa isn't posting anymore under her name, have i missed something, am I complete moron or can't we talk about it???? What about Kell and Rach.....havn't seen them for ages, if I am bringing up something I shouldn't just tell me to shut up.
Okay, today was hectic, Rylee was in child care, I had my doctors appointment, he did the bloods and urine so hear back next week. I go for my 12 week scan mid May....it is all happening, I still can't believe it, probably only when I see bubs on the scan will it all seem real. Then did the groceries, took some rubbish to the tip, and cleaned the house, picked Rylee up and made dinner. She had a huge day so has conked out now - yay. Still havn't started on the putting her back into her bed at 3 am - maybe on the weekend - I am hopeless, she is actually very nice to cuddle in the middle of the night as DH is away.
Okay, hope you girls are having a fantastic night, hi to Meg, Belle, Kell, Maz, Annie, AnnaT, Anna**, Jodi, Mum3Girls, Rikki, Caddie, Vixstar (if your lurking) Chrissy, Rach, Nelle, Nessa... hope i have got everyone.

Annie-So sorry to hear about the m/c. I know how hard it can be for you, here's hoping it happens for you soon.
AnnaT-Yah, so many of us here preggers;) Sending you sticky vibes
Ok, I have forgotten so much of what I was going to say, Hi to everyone.
The bead still hasnt shown itself so he is off to have an xray on Monday to check for it and if it doesnt show up on that, well who knows where it has gone. His lip is good and bad, it's not his teeth causing the problem but he has developed an ulcer from where he hurt it so once that clears up he should be ok.
Better go.
Love
-
helen - a huge congratulations to you!!! When is your EDD?
Hope the xray on Monday shows the bead still in there!
laurin - nessa chose to leave BB for a number of reasons, and I believe Kel is very busy and tired with being pg and with Jesse, but both are still around if you want to get in contact with them.
-
Helen,:dance::D Yay we get to be DD buddies again! Whats your EDD?
Laurin, Im ok just really tired and crampy. Today is the day AF is supposed to arrive sooooooooo Im sort of just waiting waiting to know either way. Did another test though and still a faint line but you dont have to squint to see it, and its darker than yesterday so all good signs. How are you feeling?
Hello everyone else!
Jodi - OMG 6 weeks to go for you chicky Im so excited!
ETA - OMG I forgot, we got our posting orders finally! So the paperwork is in with the Army housing people and I just need Ry to get me one more form. We could be out of here by mid May depending on available housing. Im so excited!

BBL when the kids have finished killing each other
-
HelenP- Congrats! I can see the line!!! yay!
Does Eithan appear in any pain or anything with the bead?
Maz- At least once they all kill each other you will have some peace and quiet, lol. How is everything going?
Laurin- maybe wait til DH is home so he can help you out with getting Rylee to stay put, can be hard on your own spec if you are getting m/s and all.
-
Woo Hoo Helen!
AnnaT - Great news that you are nearly on the move.
Maz - I hope your kids have finished killing each other.
Anyone got any good tips on how to get our little cherubs used to the change with Daylight savings?
-
congrats helen on your BFP :happyforyou:
maz, sorry i wasnt quite with it the other day on the phone, i was feeling like a peice of ***** that had been run over a few times, and my kids decided to sit next to me and listen in on what was being said......they have such big ears. have tried the boosters THEY ARE FAB, and i so love the star cover, you are very talented......now dont kill the kids!!
-
chrissy - I've meaning to ask how you're going. Not good by the sounds of it. Hang in there, not long to go now!!!
Question for you all: when you start getting a slight bloody show after wiping after going to the toilet, what does this mean? Anything, or something? I can't remember!
-
jodi..i had that a couple of weeks ago.....it could mean nothing, or it could mean that bub is almost here......yes i am feeling like *****, all the preganacy complaints, but now thay are going to induce, i will have bub somewhere from the 7th-14th may, so i dont have to much longer to put up with it all.
-
So will that make you around 38 weeks'ish? That's only about a month away, so not at all.
Yeah, I couldn't remember if it was something or nothing. Probably nothing though. But after the everything I've gone through the past 48 hours with this baby, nothing would surprise me!
annat - not long till you're a North Queenslander now! Weather is cooling down now. Days are still around 30, but last night it got to 19 here, which is a little cool for us! Hopefully you won't have m/s or anything while you're moving.
-
Shell -we're good now...had an aventful week I tell you. but doesnt matter all good now. How are you going are yo going to TTC soonish???
Meg - ive been letting my kids stay up an extra hour so that when DLS kicks in that they will be going to bed at normal time. Its worked in the past but Im gonna be stuffed with mateauz...he sleps until 6 - 7 so he'll be up an hour earlier now..bugger just as he sleeps through the night!
Chrissy - ah I could hear you were in pain hon. You poor bugger. Kids....Nikoalus does that now..god it drives me banana's. Glad the booster works well. Im making a heap of minkee ones this weekend then im going to do a new born line. Oh and one of my new covers is going to be called - pimp my butt. You'll know why when you see it. Thank god you got a decent MIdwife too matie.....4 weeks - OMG these babies are coming out left, right and center!
Jodi - oh a show...might be part of your plug babe. Did you guys slapping nasties again? ROFL
Hello eveyrone else. hope today finds you with a sunny sky and a heart full of love.
Im in such a good mood. OK will elaborate..have been keeping it quiet and only a selected few know. I had a BFP on thursday. I have been in so much shock with it. BUT i did another test this morning and it was a BFN so I am over the moon. Jed and I were in deep discussion on what to do but we dont have to worry about that now. Im so happy im not pg its not funny. But equally happy for you girls that are. Jed is now going to go to the doctors to get the referral for the snip. I defently dont want this to happen again.
ok need to do the 3 s's...$hit, shower and shave
-
Maz - I have tried to let J stay up later, but he still gets up at the same time in the morning!
-
slapping nasties hey, only in Heath's dreams, lol!!!
The sunshine is definitely shining for me today. I think I might be nesting, I now have all of Emily's clothes, sheets and blankets washed and put away, my labour is packed and I'm ready to go!
Nina is 100% now. No sign of a sore throat, and her cold is gone. She's currently licking the vegemite out of the jar. She loves the stuff. Oh, and now she's painting it on the patio fence. hhhmmmm.
Can't help with the DLS, we don't have it here.
-
Just ducking in quickly (all I seem to do these days!) HUGE congrats to our pregnant girls wowee!!
(All the best to those who are still ttc) We sure are breeders in here.
Maz, sounds like a relief mate - nothing like a little motivation to get Jed all sorted! Still loving those breastpads, so comfy! Let me know when you have more in stock.
Jodi, as I got to that late stage, I found a got a bit bleedy when I pooped. Guess cos you've got all that extra blood going through your body, your veins are a bit more fragile.
Best rush off, just fed Silas and mum's popped in so Rans and I are off for coffee (or frozee cokers!). I'm SO not a tracky pants girl, but I'm wearing a pair of Rans (a la private school girl wearing her boyfriend's) and I think I might invest in a colourful pair or two - VERY comfy! I totally don't want to become a tracky dack mum (just not me), but comfort's my priority at the moment!
Big hellos and warm hugs (gentle cos my milk's come in and I'm so sore!!) to everyone else. :hello:
-
Nelle- The first few months with Ash I lived in trackys so comfy, well thats on the days I actually managed to get dressed!
Jodi- Glad to hear Nina is alot better. Sounds like Emily is not far off, you might go early, make sure not too early.
Maz- August we're thinking of starting, Df said he's going for the snip after #2. Let us know how Jed goes with it.
Chrissy- Sorry to hear you're having a hard time, just keep telling yourself not long to go now!
Meg- For some reason both last year and this Ash sort of adjusts herself to DLS, last month or so she's been sleeping til close to 8am ready and staying up later, same when DLS starts she starts waking earlier ready for it. Must be in her body clock!
I'm having issues with Df again. He's a binge drinker and we always had an agreement on one night a week, lately hes been doing 2 and it really ****es me of, if he knew how to just have a few it'd be no prob but he drinks til he can't drink no more, he rarely remembers what he did or how he got home and ends up with cuts and bruises from falling thats how bad he is. Then he spends the next day being useless so whole weekend is wasted. Hmm at this rate maybe we won't be going for #2.
-
Oh shell.Thats awfull.Your hubby really does need to grow up.Why does he do it? Is he trying to escape reality? Is he depressed or stressed? Hugs to you.
Helenp congrast!! So happy for you!!!!
Maz,oh dear. Jed boy better get the snip quick!!! Must have been a stressful day for you when you sen that positive.
Ok a little woohoo for me. I am opening my store very soon.Maybe in one week!! Will keep you updated....
-
caddie has made a good point there shell. Is there something that's going on with him, which is causing him to drink so much? That must be very hard on you, and for your relationship as well.
caddie - that's fantastic about your store!
Well I've just woken up from a sleep, and feel a whole lot worse now. Might get stuck into my tim tams, that'll cheer me up :D
-
Tim-Tams always work LOL. Really though I hope that you arent quite ready to go yet Jodi, but it sounds like you might have a few trips to the hospital on the cards. Hope everything is alright.
Maz-Phew.
Shell-Mmmmm like what Caddie said, hope you can get DF sorted out soon.
Caddie-Yah, Yah, Yah. I am so excited for you.
Sorry I cant really remember what everyone else said. Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.
Ummm as for my EDD somewhere from 6 Dec to 10 Dec I think, but I am going to the dr and having a dating scan this Thursday so will let you know then.
Love
-
Nelle - they have some really comfy tracky dacks in Cotton on Body if you have one near you, I love that shop for pjs and comfy staying-at-home stuff.
Maz - big relief for you hey! Good luck to Jed with the snip.
Shell - hugs to you hun, I have sent you a pm.
Caddie - your a great inspiration to us, what an achievement, congratulations to you!
Chrissy - you must be at the end of your tether now, hang in there hun.
Jodi - hope the tim tams helped!
Will be interested to see how our bubs cope with DLS. Rylee hasn't had her afternoon nap and is going to be a cranky pants very soon.
BBL

I forgot to say, I love trackies in winter! soooo comfy.
Tim Tams are definitely helping. I do have a feeling I'll go early, but worried I'll go too early. Belly has dropped again today and I'm not sure how low this baby can actually go without dropping out of me! lol!!
helen - What's summer like down your way, it's not as hot as up here is it. So a summer baby won't be too bad for you?? Good luck on Thursday with the u/s!
laurin - I forgot if you mentioned it or not, but are you going to get tough with Rylee and her sleeping soon? How is she going with it?
-
Jodi - havn't got tough with her yet - maybe tonight - I'm hopeless - just because it is easier to grab her and put her in bed with me, than listen to carry on and keep waking up and me going in there to settle her...but it has to be done that is for sure.
-
JOdi-Make sure you take it easy if you can, it really does sound like she wants out. Our summer's are hit and miss, we have some hot ones and then some mild ones, but definantly cooler than you guys.
Laurin-Have you got a blow up bed or spare bed that you can put next to hers to lay on in her room, to get her used to sleeping in there and then gradually move yourself out of there so that she is just missing you instead of you and your big bed? Also a glow in the dark care-bear might help, we found it worked wonders for Bella and in the end she wouldnt go to bed without it. We made a big deal of this special care-bear and special bed, goodluck with it all.
Eithan is still playing up in bed. Does anyone else still have a baby (toddler now!) who doesnt sleep through yet, because I am still getting up to Eithan numerous times.
Love
-
laurin - I don't really have any advice to give, but hopefully it'll be smooth sailing for you when you get started with her.
helen - Nina is hit and miss with her sleeping. She'll sleep 14 hours straight some nights, then other nights she'll wake once, twice, sometimes three times at night. The times she does wake, it's easy to get her back to sleep though.
It must be a night for partying, Nina is currently singing in bed. I can hear her from the lounge room. She didn't go to bed till around 9'ish, which is an hour later than usual. She was just really happy playing and making a mess of the house tonight.
-
Jodi-I hope that Nina ended up going to sleep ok, Eithan did, but he grizzled on and off all night.
Eithan woke at 6:45 so not bad considering we put our clocks back.
Well we are off to an Autumn festival today, so really looking forward to that.
Hope you all have a great Sunday.
Love
-
Yeah this DLS business I don't like. Feels wrong waking before 7.
Thanks for your thoughts yesterday girls, and for your PM laurin.
Caddie- what you said is what I think, he did this few years back started drinking more cause he was depressed but he is the type of guy who won't talk or express how he feels, he thinks showing emotion isn't 'manly' think was the way he was brought up. So he just bottles evrything up and uses alcohol to deal. Drives me nuts. I try talk but he'll just say everything is fine and hes ok.
-
Hi Shell- Maybe DF needs to jump in the Ambulance with my hubby for a night to see what Excessive drinking can do to you. I really feel for you ATM. I am lucky that alcohol has never been an issue. but workig in Brain Injury, I have seen what can happen long term. If you ever need to get away for a break, there is always a bed here for you and Ash.
J slept till 6:45 this am. Also a good effort considering the change.
Jodi - Hoe Nina went to sleep.
HelenP - I have been lucky that J has basically slept through since 13 weeks. There have been the odd weeks here or there. Lets see if I will be saying the same thing after returning with a jetlagged child!!!
Belle - How are you going? You haven't posted for a while.
Off to my mums in a min.
Hi to everyone else.
-
Ive had another m/c :( Im ok though, I kind of expected it. We're still going to TTC now so onwards and upwards I say - clomid here we come again.
-
I am very sorry that this little bubba didn't make it. Take care
xxx
-
Aww AnnaT I am so sorry hun...take care and look after yourself, thinking of you .
Laurin xxx
-
Ohh no good Annat. All the best as you ttc in the future, and take some time out for yourself hey.
How's everyone's weekend gone? Mine's been pretty good, starting to find my groove. Trying not to freak out at the thought of being on my own with both boys for the first time tomorrow...deep breaths.
Mum said all I need to aim for is to feed Riv, Silas and myself. That's all I need to achieve. So hopefully I can do that.
-
AnnaT-Huge hugs sweety. All the best for TTC and clomid.
Nelle-I think that is a good aim.
Love
-
AnnaT- I'm really sorry to hear bout the m/c. How you coping with it? :grouphug:
-
Morning girls,
Wishing you a wonderful day, the sun is out here (well in Mt Eliza) Yay.
Nelle - your Mum is so right, you only have to do the very very basics - ie, just getting everyone fed - don't worry about anything else, the first day when DH/DP's go back work, etc is pretty daunting so take it easy.
AnnaT - how are you going hun?
Hi to everyone else ;)
Laurin x
-
Im ok, just in a bit of pain. Its a bit easier to cope with this time because I know how to avoid it happening next time but I just feel so stupid for even thinking that it might stick on its own :(
-
AnnaT- I'm sure you've said in the past but what causes them not to stick? Does the clomid help them stick or you do something else?
Nelle- How you going first day on your own? I hope both boys are being on there best behavior to make things easier for you.
Meg- I just might have to send Df out in the ambulance with your Dh. Couple years ago Df broke his leg quite badly when drinking and that did scare him for quite a while, he admitted he realises he's not invincible.
We're having issues with end DLS, Ash is just in such bad mood cause she is going to bed later but not sleeping later and day sleep also been pushed back too so everything is making her grumpy. At least cause she is tired she'll take her day sleep!
-
I have a problem called "Corpus Luteum insufficiency' where the corpus luteum cyst that forms after ovulation to keep the embryo sustained until the placenta kicks in at 10-12wks bursts prematurely and so I end up miscarrying as there is not enough hormone to keep it going. The clomid boosts my hormones enough that it survives til 12wks. Apparently it can be the common cause of miscarriage.
