Hayley - I got one of Rory's big cot blankets and tucked each side in and then put a thicker blanket at the bottom of the cot so it holds the 1st down and it doesnt ride up when he kicks.
Although im having trouble with Rory worming his way to the top of the bed. Lttle military Rory army crawling LOL! Last night when I got to him he was completely out of his blankets and lying at the top of the cot!! They say that you need to put them at the end of the cot so they dont go under their blankets but I guess thats for babies on their back??? Since Rory sleeps on his belly do you think it will be okay to put him at the top??
-
hello evry1 ive read everything but dnt really have time for personals :( Asha is still fluey its fesstime again after this she woke up with crusty nose n is snorting every now n then...shes sweating but not really hot dnt knw if we will be going to the mums group party tmw at this rate...
-
Noni, hope Asha gets better soon.
MD, I hope it is just from all the dribble and nothing to do with teeth. I don't think teeth will mix very nicely with the nipple twist that he does at the end of feeds.
Thanks for the warning about the bumbo, I didn't know they had been recalled. I do put him on the table in it but only when we eating dinner or folding washing - never unattended. I put him in the center so even if he could tip it he would only splat on the top of the table, can't continue on to the floor.
I have stuff to do before the house goes on the market but my throat hurts and I can't be bothered.
I have added a couple of photos to my gallery, including the elusive passport shot.
-
Arte he is so adorable, I love the one of him in the bumbo and the one in your ticker. Logan is doing the same thing with the fist and has a rash too, hopefully MD is right and its just from the heat or all the dribble.
MD Logan had is vax ages ago so I think it must be something I ate (although I havent eaten anything new). He has done a few poo's today but he is a happy little munchkin so I am not real worried.
Noni your poor thing, sending you loads of hugs. I hope Asha gets better soon.
Renne thats so cute that Rory ends up at the other end of his cot. LMAO at the air bubbles in the bath. I still havent had a bath with Logan yet, actually I havent had a bath in the 18 months (I shower lol) we have lived in this house.
Hayley no tips on the blanket, we have a cot sheet that we use and it fits nicely. Logan kicks his blankets off every night so I have just got him a growbag to try.
Pregpan, good luck this afternoon sounds like fun. Your braver then I am having 10 kids running around lol.
Gracie good to hear Lewis is ok now. Thats sad news about the other little bub makes you just wanna squeeze your little one tightly doesnt it.
ETA I keep forgetting to tell everyone I got a Yoda (HAB). Woo Hoo I used it today when I went to meet friends for lunch and it is awesome. I got it off ebay and didnt realise it was the big size so I am going to take it the dress maker to have it shortened.
-
Arte - Aww its amazing how much Will has grown. He is such a gorgeous boy. The passport pic turned out well. Get better soon.
Noni - Oh no what bad timing! Maybe if you call the nurse and explain why you cant come, maybe they are continuing the mothers group and you can go to the next meet up?
Marydean - Glad that you are feeling better. DP was sick last night, he went to work today looking a bit green. Havent heard from him all day, hope he hasnt got a bug. Wow your hubby is lovely coming home to look after you all.
Pregpan - Excuse my ignorance, but what is channukah? Is it the same as christmas?
Gracie - Oh no the poor ten wk old. It does make you appreciate your baby's health doesnt it. Such a sad story, the family must be devastated. I hope they can help him. And I know what you mean about falling pregnant so soon, if it happened to me (which is highly unlikely due to the lack of sex!!!!!) I would be a bit upset due to bad timing and all, but at the same time I'd just be so grateful that I can have babies. So many couples cant or spend yrs trying.
Thanks everyone for reassuring me about my parenting skills! Just had a bit of a downer last night, back to my normal self today. & thanks for the cot blankie tips too!
Just spoke to my boss who has offered me a spot back at work. I think I will start off doing one day a wk and work up to two. I think my hours are going to be 10 - 3, but we will discuss that down the track. Now I have to organise care for Maddie. Oh I hope I'm doing the right thing!!!! Renee how are you going with work and being a f/t mum? Anyone else in the same situation?
-
well i endedup waking up dp (hes on night shift so was sleeping) to take Ash to th dr just because of the panadol usage more than nething...he said it was fine to cont with panadol if her temp is above 38 at ne time.. he checked her ears n throat n chest etc and said her toncills are swollen but all signs point to yes she has an infection but her body is coping well n shes on the mend he said if shes not better by sat hed be surprised and to bring her back...
haley - its the last meeting of the group coz they run on school terms hence the chrissi party so idk what will happen in terms of that.. ive put my name down for another one but i think i have to wait till next year for it to start too not sure...
katie n art - ash has her fists in her mouth alot lately too n a little bit of heat rash every now n then
-
My work was trying to push me to do extra days but I kept saying no. This week they told me they dont need me one day a week anymoe as they have hired someone full-time. It seems they have put me on relief now. Pffft! All well a little cash here and there is okay.
Hayley - I found it easy because Rory was sleeping through the nights when I started. I couldnt even imagine working if he wasnt LOL! The only thing I struggled with at the start was getting everything ready. Now I prepare everything for Rory the night before work. I bath him in the evening and get his clothes set aside for the morning. I get his nappy bag packed, blankets, bottles ready, formula measured out and pack everything in the car ready to go. If you know who will be looking afer maddie you can even drop the bigger things like pram/play gym around the day before. Oh and tell who ever is looking after her to prepare for a billion phone calls for the first few weeks haha. Keep a pad in the nappy bag too with all your work numbers etc. I kept my mobile on me at work (just on vibrate)
Whoa I could go on forever haha! Maddie sounds like a little angel so you should have any problems.
Noni - Glad Asha is on the mend. Give her a big cuddle from all of us
-
forgot to ask what are ppl getting their bubs for christmas??? so far ive bough Ash a book called "where is the green sheep" a twisty rattle that has lights n sounds and a little miss naughty toy lol... everyone else is buying her so much its hard to know what to do lol...
-
Wow, missed so much - I'm only just getting better from whatever was wrong with me now.
Scarlet has put herself in her own little routine now and i'm pretty happy with it, She goes to sleep at about 4:30PM, then wakes up for a little while to see daddy and have a bath at about 6PM, back to bed at 7PM, sleeps till 6AM, has brekkie, Sleeps again till 9AM in bed with me after DF has gone to work.
I can't believe you girls are back at work - I'm so jealous! I love being home with Scarlet but there are days when i just REALLY want to go to work. What do you all do?
-
noni- i bought lewis 'where is the green sheep' too!!! that's so funny
hayley- do you mind if i ask what you do for work? are you keen to go back? what will you do for childcare??
lp- i can't believe how good scarlet's routine is. i'm so jealous of that much sleep!!
-
hayley what a great routine, I too am jealous.
Noni we have bought Logan some clothes and an inflatable pool and some books. All of these things were on special and we have prob spent between $50 and $60. We arent buying him much for a few reasons, firstly he wont remember or be able to appreciate any of it and secondly my family has gone nuts buying him things. I cant wait until he is older and he can get excited unwrapping things.
-
Hayley - does Scarlet sleep through from 7PM - 6AM without any feeds?
Katie has 'Where is the Green Sheep'. It's a great book. She is also constantly sucking on her hands and they get so soggy at the end of the day. As does her bib as sometimes she gets that between her hand and her mouth.
For Christmas she is getting a nice copy of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie and then she will have a stocking with some little toys, cloth book and anything else small I can think of. She might get another present, but she is doing pretty well from the rest of my family so she should be right.
MD - glad you are feeling better. Shame DH has to restart the course again, that means more nights away from his little family.
I'm counting down the days until DH starts school holidays (11 more working days) - 5 whole weeks at home will be great!!
-
lol thats so funny about the green sheep book!!! asha also has apple pear orange bear which is a great one for bubs!!!
Ashas been pretty good this avo/tnite maybe we will go to the party.. see how she is in the morning..
cally - school holidays how lucky u and katie are!!!
katie - our family has also gone nuts!!! my mum bought a basket (not a small one either) the other day to put Ashas presents in and they also bought her a rainforest play gym lol they cant help themselves dnt know how i will ever compete with that!!!
lp - thats unbelievable what a good girl you have there!!!
-
Hayley - Oh my gosh Scarlett is an excellent sleeper. Not fair!! :)
Cally - Oh is your DH a teacher? Will be nice to have him home for all that time. You will be able to do lots of fun things together as a family.
Katie - We arent going overboard on chrissy pressies for the same reason. Next yr will be different!
Gracie - I work in administration for a property settlements company. I'm in two minds about it. When I spoke to my boss today I started off all woo hoo this will be great, then I had a little cry, which suprised me! I think really I do want to go to work one day a wk, but I'm scared about leaving her. If it doesnt work out I will just stop I guess. My mum initially said a few mths ago she could care for Maddie one day a wk while I work, but since then my parents have become very busy with their work so i dont know if that offer still stands. I will have to sort it out tomorrow.
Noni - Thats good that little Asha is getting better. You just feel so sorry for them when they are sick. For christmas I've so far got Maddie the FP soother that attaches to the cot and a FP mirror toy. I'll probably get a jolly jumper and maybe something else relatively cheap. Not going to go overboard.
Renee - Does your DH mind that you arent working much? Mine doesnt mind either way, but admits a little extra cash would help. I'm scared that Maddie wont sleep through. Oh I hope i'm doing the right thing.
Maddie is doing her first night in the cot tonight. Yay! I still cant sort out the blankie problem, I just cant get it shoved down the slats tight enough. So I put her in a bonds suit and a grobag. Hopefully she will be ok like that, but I just cant do the blanket!! I'll practice tomorrow during the day.
-
if ur worried about it just wrap her in a blanket (i wrap ash up under the arms because she hates having her arms wrapped) and under the feet so if she kicks around the blanket goes down not up (pretty sure someone said that part before) but either way i am sure she will be fine in the bonds suit and growbag
-
OooOO Hayley I did settlements too! Where did you work?? I worked at CS Legal & Bellmac a long time ago. I remember in the interview with bellmac they asked if I was planning on having children any time soon. Looking back I cant believe I answered that question, how rude!! Im with Ray White now.
Oh and Dwayne wasnt happy about me going back to work at all haha. Still isnt I dont think. Although he doesnt complain when I get PAID! You will be fine. Try it out for a couple of weeks and if it doesnt agree with you then dont continue. :) But if your getting really stressed out about leaving Maddie then leave it for just a little while.
Its Rory's second night in the cot and im praying we dont have a repeat of last night (waking up at 2:00am). He didnt sleep all day although im not sure if it was the cot or not.... I have just put him down in the cot and he screamed :( Ive put him on his back and he has drifted off. Maybe he just doesnt want to sleep on his belly now? We will see how we go, he was never able to fall into a deep sleep on his back.
Oh god look at me talking too much!
-
lol rennee ur not talking to much look at me posting all the time lol i am sooo lonly!!! usually my dad is home and in the house but tnite hes gone out so its really weird!!! maybe rory has a tummy ache n thats why he didn't want to be on his tummy??
-
LP, that is a great routine. We are still working on one- he will do the same thing for a few days and I think that he is getting a pattern but then it all changes again.
Sometimes I think about work, I do miss the social aspect but I never really enjoyed the actual work (I am an environmental chemist). It seems like forever since I was at my job although I only left 4 months ago. I probably won't go back to work for a few years until Will and #2 are at school.
Ozstar, Logan is very cute in his little santa outfit. Did you get some good shots for your chistmas cards? You might have already said, but where did you get the suit from?
I don't think Will is getting much for christmas. We haven't even thought about it so far. With no family here I don't think we will really bother with it this year.
Sherie, hope all is well
-
Hi there everyone
Just thought i'd pop in and catch up on all of the goss.
My eyes are just about falling out of my head, so i'm sorry about not writing any personals - but i have read the past couple of pages :) (i'm finding it hard to keep up with you all !! lol)
Everything is going well here. Hannah is smiling and chatting heaps which just melts my heart. She has slept through the night for the past couple of nights - which has just been wonderful
Renee - Hannah is like Rory - she starts at one end of the cot and ends up at the other end.
For Christmas we have just bought Hannah a Pool seat, so she can come in the pool with us.- and a swimsuit. My mum and sister bought her the Fisher Price rainforest take along swing - she seems to like it so far -fell asleep in it twice today. I don't know how many months she will get out of it, but it is something that i can pass on to other family members when they have their own bubs.
I hope everyone who is sick gets better soon.
Hopefully i can find some time soon to catch up and write some more personals.
Take care everyone :)
-
Hey Arte! Everything is all well here with everyone - I have just been so busy it's not funny.
Hiya Jaz, great to *see* you! Miss Hannah sounds like she is being her usual adorable self.
I have some big news -
ALISTER CAN ROLL!!!!!!!!
He started doing it yesterday, and he was so surprised LMAO. I had him on the floor just kicking around on a blanket and for weeks he has been going over onto his side and then flipping back onto his back, and for the past week he has looked like he was about ready to go all the way and he has finally done it at 11wks, 2 days old. So now the little angel ;) thinks this is a great new trick and does it al the time, including during nappy changes  can't win em all I suppose LOL.
(for the record though, Lindsay was 14wks, Erin 10wks and Paige 8wks when they started rolling)
-
that's too funny sherie!!!
i can just imagine alister trying to roll over when you're changing his nappy..i wonder if lewis starts doing that soon too...funny stuff!
well i have to head off now to physio for my pelvic floor muscles. not looking forward to it at all! but i know it's important to do. dad is looking after lewis for me so i can concentrate while i'm there!
-
Yay Sherie go little Alister! I hope Logan starts rolling soon, doesnt look like doing it anytime soon though.
Gracie good luck at the physio.
Jazmum, good to see you so to speak. Glad everything is going well at your end.
Arte I got the santa outfit on Ebay, I have since seen soem at Kmart and Target. The hat is mine. Got so many good shots it was hard to pick just one for the cards. They have all been sent now though and everyone should get them today.
Hayley how did Maddie go in the cot?
Renee did you get some sleep?
I think I am going to have to get this green sheep book.
-
Ozstar, do you think that he is having the 3 month growth spurt? Will decided that 4.30am was play time this morning.
Sherie, congrats on A's rolling. W can get onto his side but flops back onto his back still.
JaZmum, good to see you and yay for your night of sleep.
W managed to sleep from 8pm -6.30am the other night which would have been fantastic but the dog kept barking at some fighting cats so I ended up getting up more times to growl at her than I usually get up for the baby.
-
Morning Yummy Mummy's ~
DF and i are going on our first night out without bub tonight, My mum is babysitting, I'm so excited!
Cally ~ Yup she does sleep from 7pm-6am without a feed, a couple of nights she has woken in a grizzle at about 3am which is when she used to have a bottle but now she just has to see that i'm there and she goes straight back to sleep. We have no more naps during the day though.
I can't wait for DF to be on holidays either!
Renee ~ I hope you and little rory got some sleep last night.
Art ~ I've been trying not to get excited because the first night she slept through i thought it was going to last forever! but it was a one night occurance, however this seems to be sticking :)
Sherie ~ YaY Alister, now you're going to have your hands full!
-
LP - wow, no more day sleeps! There is no way Katie is up to that, she generally is only awake for an hour before she is sent off to bed, sometimes lasts 1.5 hours.
Sherie - well done to Alister! K has gone from tummy to back but hasn't shown any interest in going the other way.
Gracie - good luck with the pelvic floor muscles.
MIL came around yesterday afternoon. I met her at the front door and said K has only just woken up and she was in my arms looking all dazed etc. Of course she wanted a cuddle and when K started grizzling 5 minutes later, MIL starts walking her around, trying to pat her back, saying 'oh, do you have a pain in your belly?'. I had to say a couple of times before she got the hint 'no, I think she's just hungry' (seeing as you insisted on picking her up straight away). That's what she says all the time if K has a little cry - usually it's because she's just tired and they keep wanting to pass her around. Ok, my little vent over.
Drinks tonight for a friends 30th - hopefully K will be a little angel and be full of smiles for everyone.
Question - The last few nights when I have changed DD before her night feed, the nappy has felt very dry. I weighed last nights, no difference with a new nappy (had been on over 6 hours), the night before was 20 grams heavier. So, do you think I stil should change her? She hates it, just screams because I have to unwrap her when she is all cosy and all she wants is boobie. Her morning nappie is absolutely saturated, so she must save it all up for then.
-
Cally ~If Scarlet isn't wet i don't disturb her to change her... people even keep telling me not to change her at night unless she has a BM but of course i do! Maybe leave it for a night and see how she is in the morning?
-
Cally, I find that Will is usually dry for his first wake up at night, so I have stopped changing him as it wakes him up more. He just has a quick feed and then back to bed. The morning nappy is usually quite full. Isn't that really annoying when people have your grizzling baby and won't give him/her back. We were visiting DH's cousin and his MIL was holding W who had just woken up. He started to grizzle and I made a comment about him being hungry -people usually get the hint and give him back but she actually turned away from me and kept rocking him (as his cries amplified), several comments later I nearly had to snatch him off her. I was really annoyed.
Hope your drinks go well tonight.
-
hello everyone
well i am having a home day today just getting things ready for the trip... just packed all Noah's stuff - man he needs more than me!!and trying to get myself half way presentable before the big melb 'tour' so did a face mask and a hair treatment this morning - now N is asleep so i should prob spend some quality time in the bathroom with my GHDs!!!
Sad that DH is about to fly off for a week too - he will really miss N who is chging so much all the time and I will miss him too. at least the time diff is only 3 hrs so we can talk before bed. and wen he gets back he isnt going for a while...
interesting to read all about work dilemmas, i am also thinking what i will do... have a meeting w my boss next fri when i am in melb - i would kind of like to dip my toe back in just a day a week or a special project but not sure how that will work. i will also discuss with him when i will go back on a more regular basis - maybe 2 or 3 days a week - i guess sometime b/n march and july... it is exciting and scary to have the discussions iykwim.
Cally - i hope the drinks go well tonight and that Katie is gorgeous for you. I was changing Noah every feed at night, but he was good at going back to sleep. then he started to sleep for along time - 10 or so hours and didnt need chging so now when he wakes up i only chg him if it is v full. i use the aldi nappies at night - as they are MASSIVE so no leakage potential!!
I ended up with a mini dream feed last night as N was waking at 11ish - so i did a bit of a deam feed - he was cryingout but was asleep - weird. anyway i fed him and he slept til 6ish like usual so i was happy w that. i wonder if he will wake more now we are going to melb as my mums place is righ i the middle of richmond - v urban and loud (fab shopping and v v funky but not sure how will go with baby!!) - will be interesting. i hope he is good for me as i have no potential to catch up on sleep etc with no DH. ia m SO excited to introduce him to all my family there and friends and I am going to meet my nephew finally too!!!
Noni - glad Asha is going better - are you going to the party today?
-
good afternoon ladies
pregpan - i don't know where you are going, but enjoy your trip!
cally - i find that T usually wets after or during a feed like Artechim.
sherie - wow A is rolling already! T hasn't even attempted too. lol she hardly gets a chance we go out so much she is hardly on the ground opps. seems U have rollers in the family.
yes it has been a while since i posted, i cannot believe where the time is going! I hardly get time for a shower let alone logging on and posting.
T laughed this morning, it was a 2 or 3 syllabel ha-ha-ha. i was doing it back to her and she kept laughing when i stopped as it was her turn and then me again. oh it was so cute!
-
Afternoon Ladies,
Pregpan- Have a wonderful Trip and Bummer about DH being away.
SupaB/Jazmum- I was wondering what happened to you and glad you are back.
All the sick mummy and babies I hope all is well soon.
DTD 3 times in a week . OMG I carnt even remember the last time we done that I think it was when we were first started dating you know the honeymoon period. lol. I know I said DH is now finally Horny but there is no way he is getting it 3 times a week. Now I am just too tired. hehehehehe.
Have a great day everyone.
-
Renee - Wow, I worked at Vicki Philipoff's for two yrs, but I'm now at apple settlements which is much nicer, because its a very small company and is just around the corner from home. I dont mind it, the only part I hate is when people call up for quotes and try to get their fee down to something ridiculous like $50.00!!! I dont know about working now, I called to find out how much childcare costs and its $70.00 less a government deduction thingo, it will be about $55.00 per day. Really to make working worth it, I will need to work two days at least. I'm going to think about it over the weekend, as I think I can handle leaving her for one day, but two....
Leemar - Oh the honeymoon period haha that was so long ago for me!
Supablondie - It is hard to find the time sometimes. How cute, Maddie had her first little laugh today, it wasnt like a chuckle it was just a heee heee with a massive smile iykwim! I just melted!!!
Pregpan - Have a great time in Melb wont you. I have no time these days for the ghd haha. My hair has never looked so bad....well apart from when I was 7 & mum thought a mullet was the latest fashion for young girls! Thanks mum. How old is your nephew?
Arte - I hate it when people wont give your baby back to you when you know exactly what they need. Its so frustrating. Meanwhile baby gets more and more worked up. That happened to me the other night when Maddie was so tired but everyone just wanted to hold her. Wow environmental chemist, sounds hard!
Cally - Maddie went through a period where she didnt do many day sleeps. Lately she is back to having long sleeps during the day though. She's asleep now and has been since 9.30 and its now 12.00. This may sound silly, but is it better to try and keep them awake longer during the day so they sleep soundly at night? I always change Maddies nappy even if it is the tiniest bit wet, but maybe I am being silly about that? I dont know! :)
Hayley - Have an excellent time tonight!
Katie - Maddies first night in the cot went very well actually, thanks for asking. She slept through from 10 - 5am. I was just a bit paranoid though about the blankie thing. My grobags that I have are only .5 tog, so I thought she may be a bit cold. I ended up putting a blankie over her in her grobag and it worked well. I got DP to tuck the blankie in tightly under the mattress so it wasnt going anywhere.
Gracie - Good luck! How does your dad go with Lewis? My dad comes across all tough, but deep down is a real softie. He is so funny to watch with Madeline.
Sherie - Congrats Alister!! What a smartie. :)
Jazmum - We have a swing too. I thought the same thing about how long she will use it for, but like you said, we can always pass it on to our family.
Well she has just woken, perfect timing! I'm off to play!
-
hayley - i know what you mean about the ghd and no time, i used to do it all the time - and I have VERY VERY curly hair so it took ages. anyway was getting so hard to do that i got a cut to work with the curls and have had it curly since Noah was born but i figure i shld still do it now and again, it makes me feel lots better. That said i havent done it yet so today i am one big frizz ball!! My nephew is 12 days older than Noah - so I havent met him as I was too preg to go to melb when he was born and my SIL has not been able to come here since Noah was born. we went thrugh the whole preg together and talk every day so I am bursting to meet my nephew and see my SIL and of course to introduce the 2 cousins. It is so nice they are so close in age!
Sherie - amazed at Alistairs rolling!! I am a bit clueless as to when these things are 'meant' to occur?? but i am assuming this is early?? N is not showing any signs of that happening soon - though i jus got a big quilt for himto play on this week and so he is spending a lot more time on the mat which i guess will help him develop these things? he is so much better at tummy time these days - we prob get 5 mins at a time - wow LOL!
I cant believe he is 12 weeks today! timehas gone soooooooooo fast!
Jazmum and Supa - so nice to see you back on here, I missed you!
-
Well we never got to play time...we fed, had a nice bath, I whipped out the play mat and some toys and she started to get whingy, so she's gone off to sleep!
Pregpan - Wow i'm envious of your relationship with your SIL. My SIL is pregnant atm but some of the comments she comes out with, I just cant be bothered. :( To her, this poor baby is just another fashion accessory. So you are very lucky to have her and that your babies are so close in age. Maddie isnt even close to rolling like Alister either!
-
Pregpan, you're so excited about your Melb trip you have forgotten to tell us how the party went the other day!
Noni - how's Ash this afternoon, better I hope.
Sherie - Well done A on your rolling! E sort of lolls about to the side but that's it.
SupaB - good to hear from you hun - how cute with the laughing! E just makes the laughing shaped mouth and breathes and squeals. Also cute.
Well the gastro fairy must've flogged a set of keys to my house and left them out to the mastitis fairy. Had to wait until late this arvo to get into the dr so self-medicated some ABs this morning (no way was I waiting for it to get 8 hours worse)! Dr MD isn't half bad, the 'real' dr prescribed the same thing I took hahaha.
Hi to everyone else - feeling a bit fever fuzzy headed so won't attempt more personals today.
*hums* I'm dreaming of an anti-biotic-free Christmas... Just like the ones I used to know...
ETA - re work, I think you're all very brave going back now, I'm thinking how long can I stay away beyond the one year mark LOL. Though I do have a few little worky type projects I'm starting shortly and I'll be studying so it's a different kind of busy I guess.
-
hi everyone
well i went to the christmas party and it was nice to go out.. it was a young mums group so there were kids from ashas age up to id say around 3 there was a little boy that was born on the 23rd of sept and a set of twin 4mth olds a 6mth old and a 9mth old then they were mostly almost 2 and up... it was fun though and santa gave Asha a fisher price bath toy lol the age recomendation is actually a bit old for her so maybe i will put it away and santa can give it to her next year hahaha or maybe for her bday coz the age is 1-5 we will see how she is going with the bath by then lol...
christmas card wise i took some pics of Ash with tinsel and stuff just in her nappy they are very cute must put them on later will let u know when they are up..
wow sherie A is rolling what a smartie pants!! Asha rolled by mistake once and hasnt done it since lol..
haley - glad maddies first night in the cot went well :)
leanne - i think the only time we may have dtd three times in one week was possibly while ttc but even then i dnt think it was that regular lol thats a bit sad isnt it lol...
supab - thats cute about T laughing Ashas had a few little chuckles too
pregpan - good that noah is lasting longer with tummy time, Asha dosn't really like being on the floor i am hoping when she gets the play gym she will enjoy it more..
arte thats horrible about mil sometimes they just think they know best!!
cally - if Ashas nappy is dry i leave her so i dnt wake her up... hope you have a good night at your friends birthday and katie is nice and smiley
md - Asha is doing much better today thanx :) you poor thing hope the mastitis clears up soon!!

MD - Good grief woman! You haven’t had a good run in the infections department have you? Have you been eating all the right foods?? I hope the gastro & mastitis fairy don’t come a knock'n back on your door any time soon!
Hayley - I’m glad Maddie went well in the cot, LUCKY YOU! Rory didn’t go so well :( He woke at 12:30, 2:30 for his dummy and then 4:30 for a feed and he went back down until 8:30. He had a few naps here and there after 8:30. Considering his normal routine was 8:30/9:00pm - 6:00/7:00am it could of gone better LOL! - Whoa $55 is quite expensive isn’t it! geez I didn’t even know haha...I better buy my mum & MIL a box of chocolates for their services :)
Pregpan & Hayley - I hear you on the lack of straightening going on! I was ADDICTED to my hot pink GHD but now it only gets brought out on special occasions lol.
Pregpan, I cant remember if it was you or Ella. Did you end up taking yours into hospital?? Have a fantastic time in melb! I bet your going to shop your heart out!
SupaB - I was wondering where you were! Do you have a video camera? Your going to have to catch her laughing on video, it will be great to look back on. Technically Rory Isn’t laughing yet just smiling with a really open mouth and squealing.
LP - Have a blast tonight! Are you going anywhere nice??
Sherie - Gosh Alister is rolling already!!! Does he hold his head up when you pick him up?? Rory will lift his head when he is on his belly and hold it for ages but he still can’t hold it when I pick him up or put him in his bumbo. I thought Rory lifting his head was absolutely fantastic that was until id try to put him to bed haha.
Jazmum - so glad to see you back on. Hope your taking care of yourself.
Noni - How are you feeling today hun? Hope Asha is on the mend xox
Im so excited Rory's framed hand & foot frame -thingy is ready whoooohoo :) I’m picking it up tomorrow and ill take a pic and put it in the gallery.
Ive got my work do on Saturday night and my MIL is coming around to sit Rory for a couple of hours. I am not a fan of my bosses but hey ive been working for them for 3 years now so I may as well get my free meal haha :)
Would anyone else let their family sit at their house??
Getting Rory to sleep in his cot is bloody tough work! Thankfully he has been asleep in it for the past hour but geee wiz I had no idea how hard it would be!
Ive put a pic up of our Christmas tree :)

OMG I AM FREAKING OUT! mum took Scarlet at 3PM ~ She had to get home because my nieces are going over there to watch a movie and see Scarlet. I have called her about 20 times in the last 2 hours to check that everything's okay, God i don't know how i'm going to go tonight... Maybe it'll be better after DF gets home... I thought after they were gone i'd go have a Reeeeeally long shower and give myself a mini-makeover because i never get to do any of the beauty stuff anymore - I couldn't do it! I couldn't even force myself to stay in the shower... I just feel really anxious. ARGH! hurry up DF.
