Cheerios are those little red saveloy things that you have at kids parties (as well as a cereal). In NZ they make purple coloured ones called Purple-oo's LOL

We call them little boys doodles.

Today - about to hang out the washing, go for a walk with DD, MIL is coming around for lunch (toasted sandwiches, very exotic) and that is all I have planned.

I think DH wants to see how much childcare costs and the mortgage when we have to refinance when the fixed period ends. He also hates paying people to do things he can do (no good though if he doesn't do them). Also saving up for a new car. He has Scottish heritage......

Noni, a saveloy is the red sausage thing you would find in an american hotdog (one with bun). Cheerios are the mini version of them. You must call them something wrong down south, because obviously NZ and QLD have it right LOL

Yuck, W was just splashing in the dog water.

ETA 'little boys' is just yuck!

    Lol Noni!!!

Cally - See you are lucky that your DH will say something to his mum. My DP wont say anything to his mum & it is left up to me. Then I look like an ungrateful meanie. Sometimes I wonder if my MIL buys so much for Maddie so that I cant ever say anything without feeling guilty....lol now I'm just being paranoid right?! I've also had the icecream question from my MIL, I dont get it. My DP has bad eating habits too, he is so fussy and wont touch fruit. MIL has admitted that she didnt try him on many things when he was young. Luckily he is naturally slim but my MIL....lets just say I dont want Maddie to pick up her habits and end up her size! Luckily my own mum is the total opposite, she loves spending time with Maddie but she always asks me first and doesnt pretend like she knows Maddie better than I do because she's had babies, I'm sure you've experienced that one before lol.

Katie - Hello, Logan sounds like he is getting very active these days!

Jazmum - Yep she loves yoghurt so I'll keep topping her up on it. Thanks for the advice re the MIL! Sorry to hear about your sisters mc last year, I cant imagine ever going through that. So glad its all working out for her now. Also re the inner health, is that ok to give them, isnt it for ages 2+? I dont know I'm sure you know more about it than me being a mum of 3!

Clare - Where are your parents, are they in the same state?

I've got Maddie tucked up in bed again in the hope that she will have a little nap before we go out tonight...so far she's talking to herself & it doesnt sound like she's gonna sleep!
