Noni, hun no need to feel guilty, sounds like you're doing a wonderful job! Lots of mummies get a lot of extra help from family members, their partners, regular child care arrangements - so when you don't have any of that it's pretty normal that you feel like you're struggling from time to time. Re the portacot - do what works, I say! If she's happy in there, then good. (I think they like it cos it's like a little cubby hole - I keep toys in there that E only plays with in there so it's like a treat LOL). Re the CC thing, have you thought about FDC...she'd love one day a week in a different environment (more toys to explore) and plus you get to choose a carer who actually cares, kwim?

Trill, glad you've got your ear back. Enjoy your day of Faffing. I usually do it the other way around. Faff all day first then confront the domestic disaster the following day LOL. Aaah, had a faffing day yesterday which means today's DomDis Day...really I'm still in denial about DH being away I think.

Cally, hope your DH is better, sounds awful.

MM how's M today? Did you get any sleep?

Clare, well we had BB on last night too, it was actually a bit of an anticlimax. We enjoyed it so much this year I kind of wished I'd started watching it in earlier years LOL. I only saw bits of the 1st 2, then last year and this year.

Rainy I thought of you when my sis rang up last night to tell me she got Foxtel IQ on! AAAH what am I going to do with my life now BB is over? LOL No point signing up for Foxtel now since it takes a couple of months to get it on and then we'll be leaving. I'm looking at signing up for Bigpond DVDs and getting some telly that way since I can't be bothered working out how to download it for free (plus my dinosaur computer can't cope LOL).

Well E is still snotty and grumpy enough today to stop me from going out to my ladies' group...better go and confront reality in the form of my DomDis I suppose...
