hi there girls!
a bit of a rant and need advice!!
ok...soooo, i go to kindy to feed leila and as i arrive there is a little boy leaving to go to the drs...
one other baby is sitting on the carers lap and screaming...and has suspicious sores around his mouth and on his feet...(guess where this is heading!)
then there is another bub lying in his cot wailing in pain...also with 'things in his mouth' (quoting here).
turns out that there is foot and mouth disease going rampant through the baby room...hmmm, shouldnt the sick bubbas be going home???? i mean, highly contagious disease meets communal toys????
i'm not sure what to do? should i take her home and bring her back next week when (hopefully) it has gone? or am i just being paranoid?
and what do you do to treat F&M? these bubs are miserable! arghhhh....
sorry for the selfish post!
Pregpan: ha ha that is soo funny! i made something similar the other day and L was also really really into it!
MM: that's another 'awww' moment! L just says mummmummumm when she is hungry...ho hum. one day! LOL!
IKWYM about the cleaning. we have definite trails of destruction in our house. we couldn't lose leila if we tried as we would just have to follow the path of strewn objects... she has a thing for clocks. go figure.
anyway best dash and attempt to pretend that i am working!
-
clare - i would take her home if you can.... yuk!!! it is really bad that the sick bubbas are there - it annoys me that they dont call the parents straight away - otherwise everyone ends up sick. though to be honest i would think HFM is prob contagious before the welts appear??? i hope L is OK - i would be unimpressed. did you say anything to them?? yest when i picked up N the other baby that fdc looks after had gone home... with suspected tonsilitis.. (he had it before) - well this morning he is back.. and DH said he didnt look so well.. there is no way that he had been to the dr.... hmmm. when N is even slightly sick i pick him up straight away and he stays home til he is better - not easy for me but better for the other babies and MUCH better for poor sick bubba...
ha ha it turned into MY rant!!
i reckonthe crouquettes would be good with other veg as well - parsnip and/or sweet pot.
-
hello everyone
re Ange: she is on a family holiday in qld with lu and dh, sunbaking right now no doubt!
clare- please ring the council and rspca about the dog. someone else may have complained as well, so the more complaints the better. it really needs to be sorted out as that poor creature may end up attacking a child :(
pregpan- yah about herbalist- please come and join us in the preggo club!!! makes me feel like i'm not so crazy for having them so close.
all you girls and your travel plans are making me jealous. it is pouring here.
i had mothers group here and only 2 came. i made dp clean both toilets and no-one even used them!! oh well
i had no sleep at all on tuesday night. after having my u/s and announcing my pg on here 'officially' and everything- i woke up in the middle of the night and was bleeding. i absolutely freaked out that i was having a miscarriage. i never ever bled at all with lewis. i was sooo upset and just couldn't understand what was happening. i lay there awake for hours so upset..
anyway nothing else happened. on wednesday i did heaps of reading and apparantley 1 in 3 women have spotting during pg and it's no big deal. apparantley 99% of m/c occur in the first 12 weeks and i'm 13 weeks so i think i'm ok. it was just so scarey :(
i watched the news and saw that poor orphaned whale and just bawled and bawled. i think i just needed to let it all out..
eta- clare omg!!!! i would get her out of there quicksmart. can you get out of work and take her home?
-
G, when I was 12wks pg with Erin, I had a pretty significant bleed - so much so I had to put a pad on and I was terrified I was losing her. Luckily I had the NT scan the following week (first and only time I ever had it done - divine intervention there I think) and all turned out to be fine, and there was a small blemish on the placenta where it had bled from. So scary as it is, I'm sure the little one is fine in there.
-
thanks sherie, it wasn't very much blood at all, but it scared the hell out of me. i'll let my ob know, i'm hoping everthing will be fine.
-
Evening Girls,
Clare- Sorry can not help with the Hand Foot and Mouth Diease it sounds nasty though.
Pregpan- hope you have a wonderful time in Bali.
Rainy- hope everything is ok.
MM- Yep I too feel like all I do is clean and they are right behind me chucking everything out all over the place. Hope you too have a wonderful holiday..
Noni- Hope you enjoyed your baby free day.
All is good here ATM Olivia's Dermatitis is clearing up really well. The boys had there hair cuts this arvo and they look great. OMG there hair just grows so fast. DH is ok he was feeling a bit uncomfortable today.
Well better go X is still awake and refusing to go to bed....
Sweet dreams to all
-
Hi Leanne. Lindsay's hair grows really fast too - he has to get it cut every 6wks like me or it looks a right mess LOL. Glad Olivia's skin is clearing up. DH was fine for the first day or so and then the soreness set in for him too. Hopefully it should last too long for him.
G, how are you today hun?
Clare, I would have been a bit cranky if I were you. I hope she doesn't catch anything.
Well I have a rare Friday at home today. Paige has a chesty cough and I decided not to take her to preschool today - it's just not worth it. She isn't what I would call sick, but she certainly isn't 100% well either. But I still have to go to town later to do the grocery shopping (Its bare cupboards here LOL) and pick the other two up from school. I will have to miss Baby Bounce though :( I really enjoy it. But it will give me a chance to do the housework that wouldn't have gotten done today if I was out for the day.
-
hey everyone :)
whata cold morning! and the washing i left on the line overnight is all wet too coz itys been raining :( ohhh well.. i managed to put asha in her cot when she woke up this morning (much to her dissapointment) so she didnt crawl off the bed, she played for a while but when i woke up she was crying and it seemed like shed been crying for a while.. eeep think i should have probably just got up when she woke up been so tired tho.. she was up screaming last night too i ended up giving her panadol might be teeth havnt had a look in her mouth yet..
sherie - its bare cupboards here too.. though pay isnt until wednesday, tax should be in the account any day now tho... sorry to hear erins not so well, my friends 2yo has croup atm poor thing didnt look very well at all when we saw her..
lean - glad the dermatitus is clearing up.. little kids with spunky hair cuts is sooo cute lol!!!
rain - how u feeling today? hope your getting some rest! haha the preggo club!! i might be joining you all shortly on that one i hate being at the end tho lol i dont want ppl having their bubbas when i am sooo big and over it hahahaha thats what happened last time too!!!
cassius - i would be annoyed that you hadnt been called to come and pick her up incase you wanted to.. often though sad as it is, parents get called and for whatever reason they dont come straight away, or at all.. theres very little the centre can do if the parents dont come short of ringing an ambulance.. as i said tho i would be annoyed you werent rung and told it was going around and that a few of the bubs that had it were not picked up..
pregpan - your recipes always sound so nice!! lucky N!!
mm - ohhh thats so georgeous she stands at the cot saying mum mum mum!! asha just cries lol..
well hi to everyone i missed i am off to clean up the vegemite mess!!
-
Clare - the info we got from childcare was that if they have HFM they should be excluded until all the blisters have dried. Googling it, they show first signs (fever about 3 days after being exposed and then the blisters appear 2 days later. There is no specific treatment, lots of drinks and panadol for the fever.
Noni - did you get everything cleaned yesterday? I should be doing the bathrooms now, but I'm on here instead! Will save the floors until the weekend and DH can go for a walk with DD so I can just power through them with no distractions.
Pregpan - have added your croquettes to my recipe list! Will give them a shot soon. I find it very hard to restrain myself from eating anything I cook for her too - I wasn't too disappointed when the salmon balls were thrown over the edge yesterday as it meant I could finish them off.
Gracie - has the bleeding finished? Would be very scary, my sister had lots of bleeding with hers and ended up with 3 ultrasounds in the first trimester, but it all turned out OK.
Trillian - hope Paige feels better soon.
-
Thanks girls for your kind words (that have helped calm me down!).
Noni: i think you're right. I guess i just wish that i had of been told. i understand confidentiality and all that, but i dont care which bubba, i just want to know if it's isolated incident or if its going through them all.
I also know that it can be tricky for parents to get their bubs straightaway, i was just freaking out and being irrational!
G: That must have been pretty scary for you. I would call the OB too for peace of mind.
yeah i will contact the rspca and let them know.
Cally: yeah, i also googled it and it seems to be alot like chickenpox in its manifestation. unfortunately the bubs yesterday were getting new blisters...
Sherie: hope you enjoy the day at home! LOL!
-
hello everyone
feeling much better today- the bleeding was only the slightest amount, more like spotting i guess. since then there has been nothing, so i think it was just an isolated incident. very scarey though. i feel fine today though, thanks everyone. :)
clare- how is L? any signs of blisters or anything/
sherie- hope P is ok
leanne- how is DH doing today? my DP is going to get it done next year.
noni- i was the very last of all last time!!!! everyone was having their babies and there was only me, ella and queenie still sitting here waiting. it was hell!!! are you guys ttc now?
cally- glad to hear your sis's bubs ended up ok in the end
where has jaz been lately?????
i went a bit stupid this week buying things on line. i bought one of those amby hammocks for the new baby and heaps of clothes for lewis from cradlerock. they have the best stuff there. i have become obsessed with the brand 'oobi'. do any of you guys have any of their stuff? their girl stuff is sooo beautiful- send me some pink vibes girls :lol:
-
G: oohhh I LOVE OOBI TOO!! ha ha! i think that they have the cutest clothes and leila is decked out in it all the time.
i especially love her polka dot sun hat...good for boys and girls. and my friend had the 'bat design' sunhat...sooo cute!
and their little 50s dresses are just the best.
-
i just bought the bat design shorts for lewis. i got him the cutest jeans wih little buttons on them too. if i have a girl she is going to live in those 1950s dresses!!!
-
My sister loves the Oobi stuff (she's bought heaps) and K has the fireworks hat and I just got her the matching bloomers.
-
Hi Mumma's
Rainy- Glad you are better today. Dh is really good today. Sorry dont have the oobi brand but i am now going to look it up cause it sounds great.
Noni- WTG at putting Asha in her bed with out her waking up.
Sherie- hope paige is getting better
I ordered the balloons for Liv's party I am so excited. I also got her pressies of layby yesterday and I wanted to give them to her last night. I just know I will buy some more I just can not stop myself..... the excitment is too much....lol
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
-
Rainy - big big big  hun. How scary. Sending you some shiny happy sticky vibes ;).
AAAAW so cute reading all the cute things our babies are doing! I found a FP walker at the op shop yesterday and E toddled around the shop on it behind me. Also she's right into cuddles and kisses and says "AaaaaaaaH" when she's giving a cuddle or when she wants one. Gorgeous girl!
AFM - feeling a bit tense, E just squished her index finger in the bathroom cupboard, it must've really hurt cos she got it stuck right in there and then leant on the door so it was extra squished. She cried for ages and then had a feed and fell asleep so I'm just waiting until she wakes up now to see how much it's bothering her before I decide to take her to the drs or not.
Hey has anyone saved copies of all our thread recipes that they can send me or do I need to go back thru and find them all? I actually thought it would be a good idea to compile them into our own thread in the recipes section so we can look back for them when we want them, kwim?
Clare, I think I'd be having a hissy fit and waving the exclusion document around. You should be able to find your states exclusion policy online somewhere (via either health dept or children's services dept websites), it will tell you exactly what is excludable and for how long. Have a chat to your dr if there's been chicken pox around cos you might still be able to get in with an immunisation first.
Leanne, my sympathies to your husband...NOT! Just remind him it's not a bar on what you went thru giving him your gorgeous kiddies, won't you LOL.
MM - I hear you on the constant picking up, it's like a tide that just washes in all day and only goes out again once E has gone to bed! LOL She's worked out how to get the CDs out of the CD rack now. Fortunately she hasn't twigged that the cases open yet.
Trill- Poor sick chookies at your house, hope everyone feeling better in time for the weekend or it makes for a bit of a glum time.
Noni, I bet you're getting soooo excited about the grand final, will be sending you winning vibes!! We're supposed to be getting hail and snow later today so I've kept all my washing inside JIC. I think Queenie wins for being the last one last time! LOL Though technically since I went to 42.5 weeks with my first that would make ME the official elephant of the group LOL. You sound very happy with your decision. :)
Cally sounds like K is really off with the walking, there will be no stopping her now - how exciting! I'm hoping E holds off until DH gets home but that's a couple of months off yet so it's looking pretty slim.
Had my first haircut in over 2 mths yesterday, feel like I can finally go out in public without ppl pointing and screaming. Waiting to see what this afternoon brings as there was a class conference yesterday to deal with the "H problem" in DD1's class, they have been excluding and being nasty to her all year and finally the executive teacher got involved. She was happy yesterday as the girls were being nice and including her but I'm not sure how long this will last...*sigh* She is such a lovely kid and I'm so proud of her cos she has risen above it all year and I sooo hope it works out now. But they've been so consistently capricious I just don't know...
-
MD- we posted at the same time... Dont worry I have been reminding DH that what he is going through is nothing compaired to me have 2 c-sections and 3 babies... lol
Congrats on the Haircut I carnt remember when my last one was... Oh i love going to the hairdresser....
RE: School problem... that must be really terrible I am dreading my babies going to school. I think it will be a really traumatic time for me. I hope everything works out. Give her a big hug from me:hug::hug:
Have a great weekend
-
Hey girls,
I just uploaded a photo of Jordy riding his bike at Granny's wearing my brother dirt bike helmet and goggles... lol
-
We had such a good morning, I went to a BB meet up here in Perth at Kings Park. Such a nice day and the ladies and their bubs were lovely. Maddie loved it, although she couldnt play on the playground she crawled around and pulled herself up on it. Also gave her a go on the swings & slide.
Is anyone into reading to their bubs? I've been a bit slack, but a couple of weeks ago I picked up a book with a button that you press to make a sound. I've been reading it heaps to Maddie and she presses the button now, its so cute.
Rainy - I had bleeding around 12/13 weeks and it wasnt anything bad. I remember at the time being petrified though. When are you going to see your ob? I'm sure you will be fine. I bawled about the poor baby whale too, such a sad story. Oh no shouldnt have told me about oobi, they do gorgeous stuff, just checking them out now.
Clare - OH NO! You think they could have called parents to inform?! I've been in that situation before with the bronchiolitis, it wasnt until I called to say she wouldnt be in that day that the carer said to me oh by the way we have bronchiolitis going around....grr too late. And to keep the sick children at daycare, they should turn them away when they arrive sick. Who on earth sends their really ill child to daycare?
I hope it doesnt develop into anything for Leila, just keep an eye on her.
MD - Another bargain find at the op shop, good on you! Sounds like E will be walking unaided in no time. MD I am so sorry to hear that your DD is getting picked on, that would break my heart. Why are they being so mean? I guess one choses to exclude another and the rest follow. I hope the teachers can keep an eye on it and make school a happier place for her. Lets hope them being nice lasts. Have you ever thought of taking her out of the school if it gets too bad? Bullying really sucks.
Leemar - You love birthday parties by the sounds of it hehe. I'll have to go check out the pic now.
Pregpan - YUM will make those for lunch tomorrow, i've got mince in the freezer so will have to defrost it.
Noni - Sounds like teethies, we are teething atm too. So sleep deprived lol.
Trillian - Hope Paige is better soon, the cough is doing the rounds in your family by the sounds of it.
Cally - I need to clean the floors too but its so hard with a baby crawling around under my feet! Bet you are in the same position as me!
-
Oh I must get an oobi party dress for M to wear on her bday! THANKS RAINY  lol.
-
*sigh* The nastiness continues. We are keeping a log of incidents (both of friendliness and unfriendliness) over the next week so I have something to take to the school. DD1 tells me now that it has been worse but her previous teacher kept telling her to stop complaining about her classmates. GGGRRR I am so mad!!! I asked her why she didn't go to a playground peer mediator today at recess when there was an 'incident' and it turns out the girl involved IS a peer mediator!! There's no hope.
DD1 asked one of the nice girls if she would hang out with her today and she said no, reason given because 'everyone thinks you're a loser and if i hang out with you they'll think I'm a loser too." So there you have, blatant exclusion for no reason other than group scapegoating! I'm sooo mad right now. Why do they have to be such a group of fricken mindless B!tches? I'll bet my eye teeth that DD1 is the only one who has been brought up to have any independent thought and now she pays because other mothers bring their daughters up to follow the herd???? That's so unfair.
MM this is the first year the nastiness has been such that I would consider moving her, but it really only came to light after we found out we're moving at the end of the year...two school moves in that time is really too much. We're just going to have to ride it out. I've wondered all along if there's any specific things that DD is doing that really annoys ppl, and all year we've been talking about minding the way she behaves in the group but as far as I can tell she's just doing what any other normal kid does but the pack have turned on her (probably because she won't just go along with whoever lil miss popular of the moment is). All I've got to go on is what she tells me so it's really hard to do something about it from here. I'm also surprised that i didn't get a phone call from the executive teacher today, I guess I'll have to go in there first thing on Monday morning so she understands the problem has not gone away just because she spoke to the class.
-
Rainy, glad to hear there has been no more bleeding, must have been very scary  How is L sleeping? W has reverted back to the 6ish wake ups, I am pinning all my hopes on your sleep school lol
MD, poor H. I was in her position at that age, there were two groups of girls in my class and I got along with both but was not part of either IYKWIM. I remember being very upset one day when the teacher made reference to my friends and named the group I had least to do with - it made it very clear to me that I wasn't included in my fav group. However, I the next year classes changed and I made a very good circle of friends, several of whom I count as my best friends 14 years later. I hope E's finger is o.k.
Clare that is terrible they let sick babies go to daycare! I hope L doesn't catch it.
Leemar, sounds like all the plans for O's party are coming along nicely. I got W the smart trike but I don't think we will get him much else. I think DH might take the day off work and we might find a petting farm around or something like that. I don't think we will end up doing a party because mum and her husband are busy the weekend each side of his birthday. I am a bit bummed because I wanted to celebrate his special little life with everyone but I guess DH and I can do that together.
Trill, hope you managed to catch up on your housework lol
Noni, how are you finding your itti bitti d'lish?
AFM: My baby is a big boy now  Yesterday after playcentre he walked out to the car with me like a big boy. And I think he is starting to wean? He won't drink BM at all unless he is feeding to sleep. Even if he is upset he won't attach. Then at nap time he feeds and then wriggles away and tries to go to sleep on his own.
It is great being able to have a conversation with him (as long as the answer is duck or neigh lol). Neigh is the noise that all animals make, on the drive to playcentre he points out the window at every paddock with stock in it and says neigh.
Hint: For everyone using disposable swim nappies, did you know that you can just put them through the washing machine and reuse them? Just check the legs and make sure it is still stitched together and they are good to go.
-
MD - Ohhh no MD thats so sad. Why do they have to be so horrible!? Your poor DD must be having a rough time at school, does she get teary at the thought of going to school? Definately go down on Monday to inform them that its still happening. Cant their parents be told so that they can have a word to their child? I'd be horrified to learn M was bullying someone but at the same time I'd like to know so I can do something to stop it. I can see why you wouldnt want to move schools again, too disrupting for her. Does she have any friends at school that she can hang around with? Maybe its time to set up play dates so they can learn to get on? I guess its hard with children at this age. Just feel so sorry for the poor kid.
Arte - The day at the petting zoo sounds great fun. No need to go over board anyway. We have the smart trike on lay by and I'll pick up a few other things. Wont go crazy as she'll get spoilt by the grandparents and aunties/uncles. Aww W is growing so fast, duck and neigh lol. Clever boy. Thanks for the disposable swim nappies tip!!
-
Marydean, It really upsets me to read what is happening with H - she is such a delightful girl and really doesn't deserve this kind of treatment from the other girls. I would suspect that their parents couldn't give two hoots about the way their children are acting or otherwise they wouldn't be doing it in the first place kwim? Maybe you could request that there be a meeting with all the parents and the girls - all in the one room and just let them know exactly what sort of nasty children they are raising. I really hated girls like that when I was at school and even though they usually get their come-uppance as adults when they realise that the real world isn't as easy to get along wtih, it does make it hard for H in the 'now'. She is showing such great strength of character with the way she is handling it all, but I can imagine the hurt she carries on the inside. for you for being such a great mummy to her and please give H a hug for me too and tell her I said that she is wonderful. As for E's finger, I wouldn't be surprised if she loses the nail - Alister did the same thing and his nail just came off about 2wks ago.
G, so glad to hear that everything is OK now and that you are treating yourself with a bit of retail therapy LOL. I checked out the site and was very tempted to get Alister the "I'm not the messiah, I'm just a very naughty boy T-Shirt", but no one out here would get the joke apart from one of our friends LOL.
Leanne, it's so exciting that we are going to have a real live 1 yo in our midst LOL. IKWYM about the presents too - I'm the same when I buy my kids their present.
H, I read to Alister when he is in the mood for it. I sing to him too - just nursery rhymes and silly songs.
Arte, that is so cute about Will walking to the car like a big boy.
I didn't really catch up on much at all except for getting the loungeroom tidy and vacuumed. However the big news is that when I was in town today, harvey Norman had the washing machine that I have been lusting after on sale for $898 down from $1009, so I went and brought it LOL. It's a simpson 9kg top loader and I am picking it up tomorrow - I am so excited I can hardly wait - it will make such a huge difference to the amount of time I spend washing clothes.
-
MM, sorry I meant to reply before. Yes, we read lots of books. There are about a dozen floating around and W brings them over for me to read. Usually we read a couple a day but sometimes he brings them to me all day long. We get some out of the library too because he was getting bored with all the ones that we have.
Cally, I really know what you mean about how much fun they are now. Every month I think that W is at the best stage, then he does something even cooler! Like he picks up his used nappies and puts them in the bin (trying to teach him the bin is not an exchange system though lol) and 'helps' me with the dishwasher etc It is much more fun now that he is so interactive and his little personality is showing.
MD, we were posting at the same time. I feel really bad for H. Is there another class she could move to or would that be too disruptive? I am sure H is the better person, mean girls usually have problems of their own and are b1tchy to others to make themselves feel better. I was beaten up at school when I was about 13 (for being nerdy), a couple of years later the girl that instigated it was a 15 year old high school drop out with a kid.
-
Hey guys just a quickie from me as the laundry flooded and I'm still cleaning up! Argh...bloody DH hung the draining hose out of the tub.
Anyway, had a quick look on that clothes site but ouch they are a bit expensive! Love them though, so cute. I go to gymboree online and order, they have sales on at the moment (ending they're summer so reduced prices just as we go into summer). They do have pricey postage but if you buy a bit it works out well (go in with others even cheaper).
I signed up to the newsletter and got a further 30% off AND gymbucks. So excited.
Anyway better go and do another load, well re-do seeing as they were clean before the water flooded them out the door.
-
Hi there everyone
So sorry i haven't been posting lately, i'm finding it hard to find time to jump on bb at the moment. I haven't been able to keep up with all of the posts, but hopefully i'll be able to keep up from now on.
Hope you're all well :)
-
Hi Girls!
MD: man, what a rough trot your poor H is going through. Unfortunately girls around this age can be really really nasty, especially when pack mentality takes over. I have been on the receiving and (unfortunately) dishing out hand when i was between 11-13 yrs old. one thing that i can say without a doubt is that it has very little to do with the person being picked on. i know that this doesnt help H deal with these girls but as long as she knows that she is in no way to blame. they have just entered pack mentality and have focused on her for the moment. as for the other girls parents not engaging: do they know? i know that when i was being one of the nasty girls, that despite my severe amount of guilt (which actually heaps fire on the coals...) i gave no clue to my mum about what was going on. I think that your plan to have the parents and teachers come together may be a good one. even if the teachers talk to the parents seperately (ie one at a time) to avoid confrontation and 'us and them' mentality.
JaZmum: great to see you again! IKWYM about not keeping up! I have been trying hard the last week to keep in the loop! LOL!
anyway best dash as we are cleaning the house
-
hello
md- sorry to hear everything that H is going through atm. you must be looking forward to moving home
jaz- thanks for letting us know you're ok :)
sherie- i never saw that 'life of brian' t shirt. i'll have to go back and have a look now :)
congrats on washing machine.
hayley- i'm so happy you're going to get maddie one of those dresses. they're so pretty. you'll have to post a photo of her in it. i'm going to get little girl baby jealousy bad!
arte- oh no! i can't believe W is waking so much again. you've got all your hopes pinned on my sleep school, i've got all my hopes pinned on W!!!!;) i think W is so advanced, he sounds so much older than L, he's amazing.
i ust got a slip in the mail saying there is something at the post office for me. i'll have to sneak up there today while dp is at work cos i think it might be the amby hammock i ordered. then i'll have to hide it somewhere in the house cos dp will kill me if he finds out how expensive it was. i hope it's not too big!!
i'm not sure how i'm going to eventually explain it just appearing in the house.....do you think he'll believe i found it at the second hand shop????
-
LMAO Gracie!!! No somehow I dont think he will believe that one...
-
i just went and picked it up. it's huge!!!
ummm.....i think i'm just going to have to lie majorly about the price....
-
LOL Gracie - you crack me up.... and then you have to explain the cradle rock parcel... ha ha. i use the time DH is away to shop - easier to sneak things in ha ha ha!! seriously you made me giggle, which is a good thing as i was sitting here having alittle cry and feeling sorry for myself as DH just left....
-
aw Pregpan hang in there. You will be holidaying in Bali before you know it.
-
oohhh pp when is dh back?
well we put together the hammock, it looks pretty cool. i told him it cost $180 and it was the only thing i am going to buy for the new baby (yeah, right!) and he was pretty cool with it....phew...
-
thanks girls.... next time we see DH wil be in Bali!!! thats a good thought... a week from now N and I will be on our way!!! a week of work and travel to melb and the flight stands b/n me and endless massages, ****tails, swimming etc.. BRING IT ON!
LOL Rainy - if yuo are having a girl i predict a blip on the national economy on the day you find out.... as IF the hammock is all you will buy LOL! but as long as you convinced DP....
Looks like N is getting another tooth... great....

well pp....now that i just went and checked out those 2 sites you mentioned, looks like there definitely will be a blip in the economy! are you going to get a small or large wheely bug? i've been looking for a wooden walker- i've found some on ebay from a store and they're $45 and $15 postage. not too bad i guess.
i can usually sneak new clothes into lewis' draw by saying that my dad bought them (cos he's always buying L clothes anyway). dp is pretty clueless about clothes anyway. everytime i ask him to dress Lewis he puts him in an aqua wondersuit....everytime....
you're going to have the best time in bali...ahhh massages....

i know! how awesome is sendatoy - i love EVERYTHING on there! i think a small wheely?? i think the big one is from 3 yrs.. so prob too big for our boys??
LOL at the clothes and the aqua wondersuit!! my DH is totally into the clothes - cant sneak a thing in - but he is worse than me sometimes with the buying for N as well!!
my mum bought N a gorgeous outfit today from seed for his bday party! i love their stuff!!
we went to questacon today with N, had such a good time - now DH and I want to get hom magnetic toys - these ones called magneatos... prob is they say from 2 yrs - what do you think? is there a prob w magnets and babies? he was enjoying them there today...
-
i have no idea about magnetic toys sorry! where do you get seed stuff from?
i really need to buy some clothes for me. lewis always looks hot and i look like mary-kate olsen in her 'i've just got my clothes out of a dumpster' phase, except that i'm fat and pimply too....
which wheely bug will you get? i like the lady bug and bee.
i'm so frigggin bored atm, i can't believe what a loser i am these days. i haven't even left the house today. dp brought red rooster home from work for dinner and then fell asleep in my rocking chair and hasn't moved since...
i think i'm getting cabin fever!! i want to come to bali...
-
ha ha ha!
I just bought the tiger for my nephew... so i may get a matching one for N... it is pretty cute but i am worried the ears on it will get dirty...
i like the cow too but DH reckons N will hate that i made him
i also need new clothes - will have to buy for bali - as dont have much summer. prob is i am really fat, have put weigh on lately...
