    cherry toms - 2 packs
    basil
    ricotta (about 250g)
    garlic
    olive oil

cut cherry tom in half and squeeze out juice and seeds, add olive oil and garlic and set aside for about 15 mins
cook pasta - i use orechiette
drain and then heat the tomato mix, mix in pasta and the ricotta and basil leaves
    yummo

i usde quite a lot of garlic and basil and season the ricotta w fresh pepper and sea salt

Pregpan- My MCHN said to me today that at 12months they recommend 3 serves of dairy a day. I 'think' 200ml of milk is one serve, a small tub of yughurt is another. But i'm sure this advice varies from person to person! Shingles are clearing up really well thanks.

Maybe it is the age Rainy, we had a massive miracle week about 2 weeks ago too and she is a new baby overnight now. I didn't really change that much. So maybe your miracle is on the way.

I reckon it is the age - i simply cant put it down to weaning and as i said i think this is a coincidence. i hope Lewis turns a corner soon Rainy - I know it has helped me a lot, he was terible the last few weeks... i even told DH i thought we should put off TTC longer... (i dont thnk that anymore!!)
That reminds me, now thayt I am no longer bfeeding i guess i stop taking the preg and bfeeding multi vs?

Rainy, sounds like the better sleeping might be an age thing, W has improved out of sight in the past couple of weeks. He has gone from 6+ wake ups to some nights only waking twice! Very manageable. Hopefully L is about to turn a corner for you.

Pregpan, keep taking the preg multi's, we can be TTC buddies lol

Noni, the suit sounds soo cute.

MD, did H accept the major city reason for the late tooth fairy?

    Hi Girls,

Noni- Enjoy your Mumma Time today
Art-How is W going? I bet he is running around.
    Rainy-

Well I am really excited. Yipppeee for mumma time....
Gotta take X to the Dr first for his hearing test. ( to determine weather he needs
more grommets) Then I will drop him back off to Daycare then I am off to the city.

Hello to everyone and have a great day

    Hi Girls!

Wow lots going on! i did some skimming over....but as usual there is loads to get through LOL!

Leanne: i hope the hearing test goes well. and YAY for 'self' time!! wish i was having one of those days!!

Noni: yep, L is the same. she tells me she is full then crawls under the table looking for scraps and squeals in delight when/if she comes across anything! arrghhh!

Pregpan: yeah if you are going to TTC i dont see why you should stop taking them...unless you have run out, then i guess go for the 'conceive well' type pills...

Rainy: IKWYM about the sleep when sick stuff. L has a runny nose and i think a sore throat ATM and she is just smashed. she has only been doing light sleeps at night for the past 2 weeks and has been waking up for an hour long screaming match at 2-3am. the little boy down the road who is 2 weeks older than her has been doing the same. i also think that the next tooth is almost here...

anyway best dash as i have a meeting to prepare (arrrghhh!)

Noni and Leeanne enjoy your mumma time!!!
Well I bought the preconception multi v's today... not that we are TTC yet but gotta get things in shape. It feels weird to be not bfeeding and preparing my bod for another bubba. I feel like I am cheating on N LOL!!
last night was a shoker here sleep wise - i knew i jinxed myself... i hope this does not mean the dream of the last week ois over. np positive thinking - he will be better tonight. he is sleeping now, settled himself in his cot so happy with that.
Noni - i think the bm or form is their main dairy now - plus any cheese, yoghurt etc i guess.

ETA Clare we were posting at the same time... Leilas sleep sounds like N (expect those few dream nights) - i also wondered if maybe a new tooth was on its way. though i desperation last night i gave him panadol at 3am and srill no sleep til 5... (YAWN)

((hugs)) and commiserations on the sleep deprivation, ladies!

Just a quick sorry-for-self post from me today. E was up last night with a really high temp, took quite a while to come down, no obvious signs of illness. So now I"m terrified that she's having the first onset of cold sores, because I've got this huge multi-header on my lip (normally they start but never fully develop but this one's been going all week and keeps getting new little heads starting in it OWWWW). I've been really careful about not kissing, washing hands, etc, but several times she has raked her fingers/hand/fingernails right thru the lesion. I've washed/wiped her hands as quick as I could (depending on where we were at the time). If it's onset cold sores then it can be really really painful as they can lesions all thru their mouth/throat and I don't even want to think about that infected saliva going near my nipples!!! We've got a drs appt this afternoon and I think I will kiss him if he tells me it's just an ear infection LOL. Anyway I'm off to grab a nap while E is asleep cos the lack of sleep is fuelling the monster on my face.

Yeah nonie- as pregpan said, bm/formula is main dairy now.

Aww MD- sounds painful. DH gets coldsores and i have never had one. *touch wood* So they must be pretty hard to catch. Hope it's something simple.

Leanne- have a great day. how exciting, a day to yourself. hope hearing test goes ok too.

Pregpan- I had a little chuckle at your cheating on N! No cheating, just working on some company for him.

During a little nappy off time, Lu dropped a decent sized log on the floor, by the time i came into the room, she was poking it! EeeeEEeeeWwwwwW! At least she didn't eat it.

oohhh md- - you poor thing, i really hope E doesn't get one. best of luck at the drs honey. would a cold sore cause a high temp?

arte- i loveyou, are you serious he only wakes up twice now? have you done anything to stop the suck to sleep association?

pp- i'm so excited you might be ttc soon. get on the job girl! i feel like i'm going to pop soon, i can't believe i'm 10 weeks already!

leanne- have fun in the city. buy yourself something special like some new make up or something. i love new makeup. not that i ever wear make up now, but i still love all the packaging and stuff!

ange- well i am counting down the days till i get a miracle baby now lewis is a little behind all your bubs so i'm really hoping to see an improvement soon

noni- yes i hate our little iga. our nearest safeway is about 15mins away so it's not too bad but sometimes when you just need one or two items we have to go to iga. they never have fresh fruit or anything though.

    where is sherie??? ...and jaz?
    btw, whatever happened to agnes?

now...can you guys please tell me what your bubs' sleep pattern looks like....
    atm L sleeps:
    10.30am-11.30am
    2pm-3.30/4pm
back in bed at 8pm and has about 6 wakeups until 8am.

do you think the gap between the arvo nap and bedtime is too long. it's just hard to get him in bed before 8pm because there is so much to do in those vital hours b/w when dp gets home and L goes to bed iykwim? what do you guys think?

Rainy - N has never been v routined in the day but this is basically his sleep patterns:
    10.30(ish) to 11.45(ish) nap
    2.30/3 - 3.30ish (nap)
    Back in bed at 7
he gets up anytime b/n 5.30 (eeek) and 7.45 and has up to 3 wakes in that time - sometimes like last night 3 wak ups that take over an hour to settle and sometimes none....

i could not keep him up til 8 if i tried... we are bathing by 6.30 at the latest he is soooo tired.. but this is bc he is bad at sleeping in the day (going over 40 mins at either day sleep is a new thing inthe last few weeks) - but perhaps L is over tired when he goes to bed?

wow 10 weeks already - time is going so fast....

    Rain-
We are usually up at about 7am.
Nap about 10am for anywhere from 45min-1.5hrs
Nap about 2-3pm-ish anywhere from 30min-1hr.
Bed anywhere from 6pm-7pm depending on when arvo nap was and for how long. She gets pretty cranky after 3.5hrs awake, so try not to go over that, or she is really hard to settle.

If you read back a few weeks, it seemed everyone was having sleep problems, and now it seems to be settling down (mostly!), so i hope it does for you too. Like you say L is a couple of weeks behind. I was at my wits end a few weeks back, i even started a thread on needing sleep, and now she sleeps through?! Your time is coming.

    i hope you're right Ange! i hope you're right.
i might try to push L to stay asleep till 4, then try to have him in bed again before 7.30. there's no Home and Away now for a few weeks anyway so we should be able to manage that LOL
