Cinta: we are also having Ls birthday in a park. we have hired a community house that's in the park as Melbourne is notorious for inclement weather...so if it rains we have a back up plan...
i have friends living in keperra ATM too. they love it. they have a 3 year old and are TTC #2...so i guess it's baby friendly!
we paid closer to $90....so good price me thinks LOL!
Arte: any news on the house yet??? i need to live vicariously through you. we went to see a house today for $410,000. lovely, pity that it has no kitchen, bathroom, lounge and half the rooms have sky views...oh and it's sinking into a pit hole....egad. melbourne is madness.
Cally: oohh we are also having my Mum around next week. can't wait!!! she is also really excited. we dont get to catch up much, so it should be really special. i just wish leila could remember it tho'...
ahh, i too have been doing loads of reminiscing. when i see heavily pregnant chicks around these days it gives me pangs as that was me this time last year...flat out on a couch though...LOL!
Leanne: oh! baking a cake for kindy!! egad! i am soo not talented enough...luckily Ls kindy does it for us. the nerves would kick in if i had to bake....poor leila, she will ever only know store bought from her mummy.
MM: arghh this time of year is tricky for Weekends. i forgot it was fathers day on sunday and had to change Ls day to the saturday! My DH wont be here for Ls real birthday. i am really bummed about it as he almost missed it last year!! then had to go straightaway to pick up family from the airport, then leila got sick and had to spend the rest of the day and night in SCN....was hoping we could make up for it this year, but to no avail!
oohh so jealous about your 'date'! and that you get to have night to yourselves!!! dont stress about it! all will be good and just imagine how smiley she'll be when you get to pick her up. and i am sure that her grandparents will be stoked at having her around.
For fathers day i got L to do a painting and i am putting it into a nice frame.
AFM: well i have been outta action yesterday as i spent all this time on a great post to you girls only to have bellybelly go belly up and lose the darn thing. soo frustrating. so i apologise for the missed personals. got too peeved to go back through...so promise to keep up here on in!
Ls sleep is only getting better ATM (sorry Arte! know how hard it can be to read this kind of stuff when you are still doing the midnight boogie...we were on that dance floor only a week ago and is still fresh in my mind lol!). last night we had big first! we had friends over with their 12 month old and three year old. L was getting really tired so i got her in her jammies and fed her out in the lounge with everyone (usually at bed time we go to the room) she had a quick feed then popped off to do some playing, fell asleep with toys in her hand on the floor at 7pm (too cute!!). so i popped her in her cot and she slept soundly til 6.30am!!! it's the first time that i didnt feed to sleep and it worked!!!
she also ate kangaroo for the first time last night...LOVED it!
