Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes for Alister! He had a great day. We had to go to Wagga that day, so I brought a few extra things for his birthday LOL - They have all the 'in the night garden' merchandise out now and I brought him a small Ninky Nonk train and a Leap Frog barnyard thing where you put the animal halves in to make a match and they make aminal noises and sing songs. He LOVES his tractor - it was funny when he was unwrapping it and the older kids were trying to help him and he kept pushing their hands away LOL. (Cally I didn't end up getting the Radio Flyer wagon as it was proving to be a nightmare to get one and with the dollar dropping they were getting dearer too as they are all imported into Aus). Anyway it was a very big day emotionally for me - no more first birthdays for us . And he's just growing so fast that every little thing he does is so special. I'm so lucky to have him.

Oh, and the sleeping has gone to crap again too LOL. As bad as it was before, but last night was great - only one wakeup when DH's alarm went off at 4am for work, but I put his dummy in and he went right back to sleep. I'm hoping that signalled the end of the bad sleeping. And last night we had a two word sentence!!!! I was in the shower with him and we were just finished and DH came in to get him from me to get him dressed and he said "hewo Dadda" Like Elmer Fudd would say hello, it was amazing, we both looked at each other and said 'did he just say what I think he said?"
