WOOT WOO MD!! shake those hips baby! LOL!

Oh he still hasn't been forgiven for the heater. he was seriously shocked when i shrieked in terror at the thing. it also sounded like a vacuum cleaner.

arte: bum cream. that is pure gold as far as i am concerned. a keeper for sure!

    Hey everyone

    SB - welcome back

Hands up for another in the constant whinging club - we had to pick someone up this morning on the trip into work and DD didn't make a peep the whole way. Very pleasant for a change. Unfortunately he doesn't need a trip home so it could be noisy this afternoon. I was hoping that when the language skills develop some more the whinging might stop.

Had a good time in Sydney - both planes were delayed, but I did get some shopping done, including an IPod (purple!!)

Rainy - your belly is lovely

MM and MD - great new avs!! Aren't you lucky girls!!

PAP - well done on the performance review, it's always nice to feel wanted isn't it? My boss told DH last weekend that he wasn't allowed to get me pregnant again as he didn't think he'd cope without me!

MD - have you been able to do some Haigh's taste testing yet?

I must be lucky, a DH who never spends. Although it does mean that there is a lot of thinking any time anything needs to be done and it takes forever. That heater sounds pretty bad Clare!

Arte - lol at cracking it over a broken biscuit. I can't see DD ever refusing a biscuit!! Also, love your real name, aaajodie - PMSL!!

Clare - what were you going to do if L said she did want to get off the bike?

    md- you're so hot!!!

cally- glad you had a good time in sydney

yes i laughed at arte's real name too!

went to acupuncture yesterday and i honestly can't believe it. i admit it, i was a sceptic....not anymore. the baby was going crazy when she was doing it, moving so much i thought he was going to push his way out through my stomach! today i cannot walk, it fees like i'm going to split in half....
i'm going again in the morning.

i really want mcdonalds but i can't drive

Glad the acupuncture worked, lucky I sent you my mobile number, you might be going into labour tomorrow if there was that much movement after the first treatment!

Hubba Hubba Hubba MD - What a hot tamale you are!

Rainy - good work on the acupucture. sounds promising! I'll pick you up some maccas...are you happy to wait until I get there though?! Why oh Why can't they do home delivery. There was actually an article in my old home town about this guy who goes around and does pickups from maccas, video store, convenience shops etc and delivers it direct to your door. Sounds great and apparently he does quite well with it. Especially on Friday Saturday nights after people have been drinking and need food or booze or ciggies.

AFM - I just found that S has THREE of her canines coming through AT ONCE!! They look like the tip is through and the fourth is swollen. Poor little ratbag...no wonder shes been a feral.

Rainy: wow! great news on the acupuncture!
yeah i remember my last pg drive...it was 3 days before Leila arrived and i reversed into a gum tree and cause $600 damage!

To Rainy's baby: c'mon little bubs...mummy is waiting and is a very loving and awesome mummy...you'll get cuddles...i promise!

Cally: well, i had a feeling that she didnt want to come off, but hmmm, if she did i would have been stuck LOL!

Kate: i think i need more food delivered to me. i have been so slack with eating lately as i just couldnt be bothered cooking. leila gets all the meals, i get the scraps and DH is still too sick to eat.

AFM: all good here. Leila has a top molar coming through ATM. it appears to not be causing too much pain. she is a bit unsettled (ie taking awhile to sleep and then waking up a bit earlier than normal).
we are off to see a house tonight. got a private inspection and it looks really nice (even has a studio out the back!). so we'll see...

kate- ooohh i wish that guy was around here

clare- good luck with the house

i feel really guilty and bad for lewis atm. we haven't been out in so long- and all we've really been doing is watching lots of tv. he's watching teletubbies right now, i'm scared i'm melting his brain! i just can't manage to get off the couch, my poor little man

Rainy - I'm sure Lewis doesnt mind or even notice. At least you are there with him. Well i got excited with your status on FB about the bub moving heaps. Sounds like he isnt far off now!!

Clare - Good luck with the house!!

Cally - I am hoping the same as you, hopefully once the language develops the whinging will be minimal! But then it will be, 'mum mum mum' or 'but why' lol

Went swimming with M today at the pools, she loves it. I love how an hr of swimming around makes her sleep all arvo.

Was looking in a parents paper today & noticed that kids can start dance classes from 18 months, will definately be looking into that for my dancing queen.

Did anyone see my post in the boo hoo room about the paypal incident? I am stressing big time & paypal are hopeless let me tell you. I have spent today and yesterday writing endless emails, they wont speak to me. I am so frustrated with them. I bet if it was their $5000 missing they would sort it quick smart.

Hey MM -don't know if you saw my reply to your facebook status but get DF to email them or call them and authorise you as a contact on the account. That way you can deal with it.
We had to do this on all of DHs accounts etc when he had his big accident years ago and couldn't talk for weeks. If they don't accept it over the phone or email then a faxed stat dec type thing with his signature should do it for sure. Good luck

Rainy - don't stress hun, it's Quality Teletubbie Teev! LOL You'll be off the couch soon enough, sounds like I don't need to buy an airplane ticket after all !

MM - That's the sort of financial event that would stress me out of my tiny brain!! Just trust that the due process will go through, the Universe will return your money abundantly to you when you need it. xxx

I can't believe all this talk of teeth, Missy E still only has 6 toofies - four on top (which you can't really see) and the two cute ones on the bottom. AAAAAW too cute.

Kate, what a great idea - if the library world doesn't come up with the goods for me, i can always start my own DIY drunken delivery service LOL.

Cally, you will have to set up a carpooling system at work, just for the peace and quiet LOL. I confess, I haven't tasted my Haighs yet. They are sitting there looking and smelling perfect in their box. However I've done a Darryl Lea dark chocolate apricot nougat over!

All this talk of Bum Cream, I had to buy some tonight. Low fat caramel swirl. I did have a little chuckle when I was getting out of the freezer LOL.

Andie how are you going sweets??

Well we met a FABULOUS FDC lady today, she picks up from DD1's school too so it means both girls could go there. Sadly she only has one day available with possibly a second but there are carseat and cot issues involved. So got some more names to ring. Soooo want to get this organised now. I want my life to start moving forwards again!!!

    hi girls!

Rainy: good luck with the second acupunture today! how many do they do? i thought it was like 2 or 3??
beh, as for the not doing much, well like the others have said, i wouldnt be overly concerned. as long as he is dealing ok (ie not crying on your leg and dragging the dog leash to the door ) then all is good! some boredom busters that i have is to fill up tubs of water and pop in some food dye then give miss l a whole bunch of tupperware and cooking implements (outside on the verandah kinda game LOL!). she goes nuts, has a great time, and i can get on with my own thing in the corner. he can also do some paintings with the coloured water for daddy when he gets home...

MD: ooooh your willpower!! i cannae believe the haighs is intact!! so jealous! i bought DH some chocolate for valentines and the man will not touch it! He reckons he wants to wait for a special moment, but i figure any moment with chocolate is special! so i had to eat a chocolate magnum instead...ho hum.

good luck with the FDC hunting. sounds like a bit of work trying to find a good one with space! so are you looking for someone that can take both girls for the afternoon? that must make it a bit trickier i guess.

Oz: totally understand! hope you guys are having a good time! Have you told your dad the good news??

MM: i saw your thread in the boo hoo room. sux big time. we had something similar with the credit card and it was time consuming. if you bark loud and long enough they do 'rush' the case through. although that said it did take just over a month to get refunded. now i am seriously considering shutting down my paypal! oohh and i just bought stuff using it! I thought it was meant to be really secure!! uurghhh.

AFM: well we saw the house and i really really like it. it has a roof.

DH is getting massive cold feet and still has pipedreams of a house in poshville (parkville). but seriously unless we win lotto the only place in parkville we'll live is in the gutter, but even then the rates prolly too much LOL!
the house yesterday was really cute, ducted heating (WOOO HOOOO!). 2 beds and a studio (ATM an art studio), big (for melb standards) backyard, family area etc etc, and our friend who is an architect has offered free services for an extension! WOOT WOO. cause we really do need a 3 bedroom if we want to have another baby. the 2 rooms are a wee bit small cause the original fireplaces are MASSIVE!
as you may surmise i am kinda excited. now just to get DH on board....

oh and leila has decided that getting 3 molars all at the same time is an awesome idea and best matched with a horrendous head cold...so we had a great night last night LOL! oh but i do really love those midnight cuddles....mmwahhhhh.

    Hello ladies,

Oh rainey - you sound sooo close. Wishing you a swift and safe labour hun...... the last bit really drags hey. I'll be keping an eye on the birth announcements !

Sherie - Howz the treatment going ? Do you think it's working or is it still too early to say for sure ? Hope you are getting some relief already !

I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in being my post it girl (PIG). If you are happy to give me your mobile number I'll SMS once our bub is born and you could make an announcment for me and perhaps pop into the March Mummy thread and let the ladies know there also. Anyone interested ????

We have narrowed down the name choices to either Lane or Carter, with Nathaniel being the MN...... not sure which way to go at this stage tho ??

Anyway that's all on the home front here. Hope you all have a lovely weekend and are all fighting fit.

Clare good luck with the house. Yep told my dad the news he was very happy.

Feeling average today and L is in a cranky mood, thank goodness DH is home to deal with him. I am off to have a shower and see if that helps.

ETA I am buying some bum cream when I do the grocery shopping today.
