    hi girls
i'm back from ob. yes i do have thrush. can you believe the timing of it? just used some caneston so hopefully it clears up soon. dh took lewis and i to mcdonalds to make us feel better
lewis is sleeping really badly atm too, glad to hear it's not just me going through it! i'm assuming it's teeth, but i can't see anything coming through.

aglinra- good to see you back

pap- if you liked the carrycot, then i think you should get it. how much is it? are you going to get the elite? what colour??

    katie- how are you feeling?

clare- is it smokey near you? my friend just rang me and said the warburton hwy is backed up for miles with cars and floats and trailers of people evacuating properties.

I went up to Kinglake, and to check out where we'll be living on for the weekend Rainy and i had no mobile reception, i came rushing back to see if you had popped but no suck luck love. Keep your ears out to 774 today with the high winds and high temp ok?

So like i said, i checkout out the new pad. It is pretty flash, much flasher than our old place. It is a lot further out than we were though. I had a little breakdown, (ok, it was a pretty big breakdown ) at the thought of cleaning a house that hadn't been lived in for 6 months at 38 weeks preg with a toddler. So DH is organising a cleaner this week while i am still at Mum's...... nice. Now i just have to deal with sorting out clothes/beds/kitchen/unpacking kind of stuff. That makes my head spin too, but we did organise a cot for Lu and a cradle yesterday, so at least we all have a bed to sleep in. I guess the rest can wait. Oh and the great thing is the lady has couches, beds, fridge etc there, so don't have to worry about any of that.

Will have a read back and see how you are all doing. I should be sorting stuff out, but my feet are so swollen i can't be bothered! Man i sound like such a whinger.

Ange good to hear from you love. I hope you get settled in the new place quickly. How is Miss Lu doing?

Rainy I am feeling ok just very tired. Major bummer about the thrush what but a lovely DH treating you to maccas.

I cant believe I have been having nanna naps. I normally cant sleep during the day but for the last week I have been crashing when L does. Bring on the second trimester!

    Hi girls!

rainy: no smoke. saw some high smoke this afternoon, but assumed it was from the backburning until i was told they are evacuating quite a number of towns. i heard that there is some action yarra glen way so i hope that it stays away from you guys. there are meant to be some yuk conditions over the next couple of days, so make sure you stay tuned to the radio...

leila is lay-la...i think layla is the american spelling...we went with the arabic translated spelling...ITMS!

Ange: oh unpacking and cleaning is the pits! good on DH for organising a cleaner. it must be doing your late-pregnancy-nesting-urge head in! and yeah, like you said, once the beds are sorted other things tend to fall into place. i always like to get our rooms done first, that way there is a break from the pandemonium IYKWIM.

AFM: well leila went to sleep at 10am this morning and at 2pm (yes, 2PM!) I had to go in and wake her up. poor thing, she really is not doing so well. she does seem a bit better after her nap though. so we'll see how it goes. today when she woke up she demanded to wear her tutu (yes her grandmother bought her a tutu...after years as a child of me begging my mum to buy me one without ANY luck, she gets one for my daughter before her 2nd birthday) and then proceeded to raid her jewellery box for necklaces and bracelets . we have a prima donna on our hands ppl!!

Ange, I want you to whinge all you want - it will do you no good at all to keep it all in hun. Great thinking of Glen to get a cleaner for you, regardless of you being pg, it would make the transition so much easier on you not having to do it yourself

G, that's awful bad luck! I hope the canesten works quick smart cause you really don't want that hanging about when bubs comes. Get yourself some probiotics too and eat jalna or yakult to your hearts content.

ANGES!!!!!! OMG it's great to see you pop in! So how's life been treating you? How is work? So much catching up to do. you can't go till you've filled us all in LOL.

MD :hun: the perfect job is out there for you somewhere my dear. Maybe this could be an opportunity to take advantage of the time off uni to do something else even?

PP, You poor love, you must feel really drained ATM. It's so hard when nothing you try works, or even works for long. The pasta bake sounds fab - I'll have to write that one out and try it here - Alister still prefers food with pasta in it I've even gone for far as to buy gluten free pasta just so he's not overloaded with it kwim?

Gosh, I can't remember where else I'm up to. Busy busy day - in wagga like I said (appt went well - bloods still fine) came home and there was a blackout and we only just got power on at 6.15pm. Had a bit of a pre-stimulus money spendup and brought a maxi rider for A and some tops from Myer for me and a new clothes rack for DH's work shirts.

I will be back later tonight for more.....

rainy: i saw the wind change about 20 minutes ago and the sky has gone orangey again, so jumped online and saw that people are evacuating the dandy ranges. hope that you guys are keeping safe, and if you need a place to come, you can come here in safe ol' brunswick (well, if you dont count the underworld activities that happen, we are pretty safe! LOL!).

Ange - whinge away my dear cant even imagine all the emotions you are feeling and dealing w, we are here for you to vent!!!! good you have the cleaner - keep her number for those 1st few weeks as a fam of 4. how is it at your parents?
Rainy - hope you, Dh, L and your dad are ok.... gosh it is an awful season isnt it.
Agnes - so good to see you pop on... as sherie said FILL US IN! how are you my dear?
Sherie - sounds like a good day - gotta love the shopping. N also prefers things with pasta, he demands 'paddha' regularly. i try to mix it up with rice also and gnocci so he isnt getting too much - though i am pasta addict so i have myself to blame. i should try polenta too, i tried it ages ago and he didnt like it but should gove it another shot. he has had a good breaky the last few days finally - weetbix with milk and a drop or 2 of prune juice - he gets through a whole one which is good going for him in the morning... though his eating is really the last thing i should worry about!
It really is draining at the moment, and we have only had 2 nights from hell. i wonder what tonight will bring??? will head to bed early to arm myself for the 3 hr 11.30 rock session... and it is a bonus if it doesnt happen i guess!
rainy - think the basinnette thingy is about 230 - not too bad i guess if i get good use out of it. i will try to find a shop with it all in stock here so i can check it out.
ok off to heat some soup for dinner... weird with the heat we ared having but gotta get some vegies in between the naughty things i am eating atm.
    ob appt tomorrow - excited!

Oh no whats this about a wind change near Rainy's place, hope she is ok!!

Ange - Oh you poor thing, no wonder you had a big break down. What a beautiful hubby to organise a cleaner for you, smart thinking. I'm glad you have a nice place to stay. I know its easy for me to say, but try to find some time to relax a bit before the new bubba comes along.

Clare - Oh no thats a long sleep, she doesnt sound well at all. I hear you on the prima donna!!

Oz - Sorry to hear you are so tired, I agree bring on that 2nd trimester!!!

    Agnes welcome back!

PAP - Oh what a shocker of a night, how do you cope being pregnant & all? I guess us mothers are tough! hehe

MD - Nooo way I am the same as you, not game enough to get rid of the dummy. So well done to Neenee!

I was so worried last night after M's incident with the fertiliser. It got me thinking about whether we are doing the right thing leaving her with the in laws. I know they will care for her, but I just feel like no one cares for your child as much as you do iykwim. I couldnt get it off my mind so I sent MIL a big email just watching my words (after last time) & just telling her how I feel. Also asked if they have a cover for their spa, as I know what M is like with water. So far no reply....hmm. Am I being paranoid?

MM your not being paranoid your being a mummy. Your better off asking all the questions and having words with them now then worrying constantly when your meant to be enjoying your honeymoon.

Rainy hope all is ok up your way.

mm- no you're not being paranoid at all, i feel exactly the same way when i leave lewis with dh. he always seems to fall over or something. this morning dh was supposed to be minding him and he ran into my bedroom with a pair of tongs in his hand. needless to say, i got out of bed and looked after him.
i hope she takes it the right way. the fertiliser thing was really stupid. have you moved the plants?

clare-oooohh a trip to brunswick sounds so underbelly! lol, thanks for the offer. is the house that you looked at in brunswick?
i always pronounce it lay-la too, but in another thread someone said it should be lee-la so then i thought i'd been saying it wrong

pap- lewis went through a really bad sleeping stage when he first started walking- maybe that's what noah is doing? are you finding this pg way more brutal than the first? or is it just me that's had a shocking second pregnancy?

trill- how good is the maxi rider? lewis loves his cup holder, he thinks it's the best

well we're still at home, keeping an eye on the fire but it's heading the opposite direction to us. i'm waiting up for the late news to see what the go is, then heading to bed. in the morning dad is taking lewis and i to toys r us so that lewis can pick out a kitchen to have to play with at dad's house while i'm in hospital.
