SupaB: well the leander doesn't have the drop down sides either...bit of a bummer, but i guess i have avoided the back breaking stage with her being that bit older...(she says hopefully LOL!).

Rainy: oweee sweets. i guess it also has to do with the fact that they are getting a mega workout again and it takes some time for them to get used to it...if i can remember...and also let's face it, newborns have mega-hoover sucking action LOL!
hhmmm, no real words of insight on the MIL front. except to try to keep the high road, except no crap (make that clear in a nice and firm way...ie nip any smart comments in the butt) and have a safe place to retreat to if need be (ie b/f in the bedroom and a nap...).

MD: no, true i couldnt be a FDC lady either. like arte i see a pack of crazy kids and i go crazy and feel this urge to run away screaming. i guess that is my first clue.
yeah not sure about the leg, still hurts but have invested in my 'miracle' cure of lavender oil so i'll see if it helps this time. i am so over pills though...atm i am taking around 11 a day. i sooooo need a day spa!

WTG on the monitor!!! wish that happened with the cot. as it stands i only got $150 knocked off the price. pffft.

AFM: well our leander cot arrived today!!!! oh those danes do make nice stuff! LOL! but i have to say that it was sad putting away the damaged cot that leila has used for so long. as it is i havent let DH put it on the kerb just yet. i think i need a couple of days to mourn its end (this is the cot that has been in the family for 26 odd years and has grown many of us). of course it had to break on my watch LOL!

leila thinks the new cot is awesome though. she *helped* me build it.
