hi girls - sorry if i miss anything, i read the last thread but i am blaming preg brain for forgetting it all and now i cant scroll back up to see what was there! Rainy - hope the fire stayed at bay, and have fun at Toys R Us today - your dad sounds awesome!! a kitchen is sucha good idea, N is so into tea sets atm, think i will go get him one soon asa treat bc daddy is away! I am finding this preg a lot harder than last time, last time i just revelled and enjoyed being preg - this time esp when i was really sick at the beginning, i am fionding it more draining. i also have so much less time to focus on it (read books etc etc) so it is goingfast but also i feel like i dont get to enjoy it as much iykwim...
MM - did she reply yet? ok i am going out on a limb here, as you all know i have worried a lot about my ILs caring for N etc... anyway i have tried to have a bit of a new attitude twds it to sto pme stressing so much and so i can foster the relationship really well with them and N. I guess i tryt o look at it through thr lense that they love him so much and they would never want anything bad to happen to him - i mean aside from DH and I who in the world could love him more?? then when i see them do things that arent in my mind great if i look at it through that lense i feel less tense about it and i think i approach it with them differently. i still spk up about it but i think i say it differently and most importantly i get less worked up inside about it all. does that make sense? that said the fertiliser thing is crazy on so many levels (who does that at someone elses house) - but i must admit N was playing w dirt in one of our potplants the othe day and i realised the soil would have had fertlisier in it too... (but i was watching and he didnt eat it!)... and they def need a cover on the spa etc etc, it is more something to help ypu stress less abotu it. also i think this helps me in thinking through how i would feel if something did happen (say a bad fall or something) in their care... it can happen and it would never be their intention and they would be devestated... anyway that is a bit of a ramble... if i were you i would write a little book with her roiutine, foods, things she likes to play etc etc. but also know they will dowhat they want etc, and they are her gparents... when do you leave etc??
Katie - how did L go last night? N had a great night, woke at 1130 and i thought we were starting the 3 hrs pf pain again... but 20 mins later he was asleep and slept til 6.50 - prob his biggest sleep in ever!! loved it!

ETA MM I hope this doesnt sound preachy - i have worked through it all too and this helped me feel better about things...

PP- I would have been upset 2 about the fertiliser. Heck, what was she thinking? I do think she will b different as N will b in their total care so the responsibility will fall on her shoulders. IFYWIM
Also I think u r such a trooper being pg + getting up in the middle of the night, heck I can't even do that + I'm not pg! I have heard that though the 2nd pg goes so fast coz u can't concentrate on it, unless the 1st is at school, but even then u still gotta make lunch + take 'em 2 school. I would not b able 2 cope, my patience level borders on 0-1 normally lol.

    MD- I pm'd u back finally.

Um, I will b back l8r, gotta get ready 4 tafe + hand in my 1st assignment already. It was an easy one.

looks like my best friend will be here early now too shes sick of the fires in vic (shes in warburton) so shes booked an earlier flight to newcastle she leaves tonight and i will probably see her next week instead of two days before the wedding yay
pp- i so know what ur saying with the second pregnancy thing.. im sooo tired and whenever i feel sick it seems much worse coz i have to chase after asha rather than just laying round feeling sorry for myself.. i cant believe i will be 17wks tmw it just seems to fly when ur not speding every waking moment thinking about it haha..

Noni, fantastic that your bestie is on her way! I'm sure all those last little things will be easy and quick once you've got her there with you.

Supa, thanks for your PM. Bit far for my haircut but we will definitely work on a coffee date.

PP - excellent words of wisdom for MM. I too have total kitchen envy (TKE). My friend has a lovely white & groovy pastel one that just gets played with and played with and played with!

MM, like PP said, say what you need to but try to get zen in yourself. But definitely find out about the spa cover! It needs to be rock solid child-proof.

Agnes, how excellent to see you my dear! Yep Rainy's due to have her bub any day now, we're all so excited about it! I bet W had a blast with his grandparents. Happy birthday by the way !

Rainy, hope all's good up on the mountain. Good for you having cheer-up Maccas LOL.

Ange, no of course you're not a whinger, I think you are coping fantastically well, all things considered. Glad your DH got a cleaner. Lots of Vic ladies offered to help through the message thread, maybe now is a good time to accept some offers of help? Sorting and organising is soooo much easier when you can just sit there pointing while someone else does all the hard labour! LOL

Trill - pro-wrestling party - woohoo. Bet they all had an excellent time! Glad your blood results keep coming back good. BTW - what time off uni?? have re-enrolled and classes start again this week! LOL Sucker for punishment.

Clare, I had a giggle when I read Rainy asking how Leila is pronounced. My very first public bellydancing performance was to a song that goes "Leila leila"...LOL. I still have it on CD so I could send it to you so you can hum along to the tune with me LOL.
