Arte - good luck with your sleeping in your own bed plan!! Sounds like you have hit the tired enough to be properly cranky part of the pg? Anyway I hope you are already tucked up snug in your bed .

PP - I just think you should try to go with the flow for a couple weeks and accept your mum's help as much as she offers it. They really are quite changeable at this age (with regards to which person is flavour of the day) so if you've noticed him favoring someone it's only going to be a short term preference rather than him actually favoring them permanently, kwim? I'm sure he will ride out these first few weeks and then having a little brother will be part of the new normal, and grandmas and grandpas won't have changed at all.

Trill, glad you are feeling better - i kwym about the dehydration - it has crept up on me a few times too. Good luck with your cot-moving-going-to-bed blitz! Hopefully you'll have a run of good nights that will set the new pattern.

Cally i cracked right up when I read about Lamington being the pony's name...gotta love those food-based pony names! Enjoy those hols!

Well my big baby girl had a little rite of passage today...DD1 got her ears pierced (*sob*). Actually it was lovely, her friend had a sleep over and they've been plotting for ages to get them done together, so we took them up today. Ah she was so brave and went first! Feeling super clucky at the moment, DD2 has been so cuddly with me lately, really wants lots of mummy-time. Doesn't help that we're in the middle of a little Sept-thread baby boom!
