DB- WOW.....what a gorgeous squishable little man!!
I haven't even thought about pressies for Eleni yet!!..... still sorting out details for her Baprism on the 22nd Dec and DD1's Birthday party stuff for the 29th Dec!! After I have sorted details for that will also look at Christmas stuff!... I have a couple things for DD1, I think we night get Eleni a walker or something like that as the one that DD1 had has become an outside toy and is disgusting now!
We are waiting until Feb for Logan's Baptism. Everyone keeps stealing the date. I'm over checking with others for appropriate dates. We are just going to set the date and hope people can make it.
We have DS3s 3rd birthday coming up. I was hoping to get out of a party this year but he's dead set on having one. It's just crazy time being December. I might go against my loathe of Maccas parties and just book one in. *sigh*
Willow- we have done it!! The last 3 nights no swaddle!!! Last night even managed to get from 9-3 in her cot!! (mind you she did stir and need her dummy back in plus a little pat 2-3 times in that time) but its still success in my eyes
Success for sure!! I'm jealous we still get multiple wake ups, pats are like you're poking her with a sharp stick or something and even getting up to walk and bounce instead of offering boob only leads to her being wide awake and thinking it's play time. She has just cut her 6th tooth and I think is straight on to number 7
Why is it you pass one hurdle and straight onto the next? We are having breast refusal now. Screams, hits and pushes me away when ever I offer it to her even though she is clearly hungry.
Last night I ended up having to get up express 180ml which she drank in less then 5 min and went to sleep for 7hrs straight after it.
No crawling here Bea, so dont worry. I just think Wilder is a very happy and content baby who is fine to just sit back and enjoy life happening around him.
We have to remember that Z and W have three older siblings who theyll likely rely on to do things for them
Georgia is almost crawling. Almost meaning she can and has but spends more time whinging than concentrating on doing it again. She is up on all fours, she can get from her belly back to sitting up. She has crawled twice to get to me and a toy when she wasn't thinking about it. It's like she over thinks it or something then just cries until you go get her.
She never stays still so look out when she finally works it out properly!
It's hard not to compare, my first two boys seemed to hit all their milestones, sitting, crawling and walking pretty early. G and DS3 have been different. DS3 is still what I would say a little behind with his gross motor skills but he has a better vocab than my 19 year old G seems very switched on too, but not on the move yet, she is going to be a force to be reckoned with I think.
Is anyone else having poo issues? Poor G has just decided she loves food the last few weeks but is having a lot of trouble pooing now She's been in so much pain, only when she is actually trying to poo. The rest of the time she seems fine, no hard belly or anything. None of my others had this issue they just ate and pooed no problems. The odd one off bout of too much banana blockage but not just from the introduction of solids. It's heartbreaking when she cries and clings onto you looking at you like 'Make it stop'
We have to do prunes daily. I get a pitted prune add boiling water to it and mash it then I add her wheatbix. She has to have this daily or she doesn't poop.
So Bea is she in pain to poo? G's frequency has slowed since solids but I figured that could be just because they are harder to digest than breastmilk, it's just that she cries in pain when she poos, it's so sad. I thought about getting prunes for her too actually, do you think they help it to be not so painful? The first few she did she cried while going even though they weren't even formed stools just thicker mush than usual lol ...Oh the lovely conversations of the parents of babies
She was in pain.. but thats because she wasnt go regularly. Even on solids would only go every 4 or so days and it was extremely hard and dry. But since doing daily prunes she is now a daily pooper and they are much softer
Hi Everyone. I've been reading posts to catch up. Glad everyone is doing well. Logan is growing so quickly. My hefty almost 12kg baby is rolling and rocking on alk fours trying to crawl. Not quite there yet. He popped his first tooth last weekend.
