Blue this time I had both spinal and a back up epidural with c section as I was having a tubal done too. No pain what so ever! I was bracing myself getting upset waiting for first cut asking when you guys starting and my surgeon goes oh we already have we are just having a cup of tea lol! I was so relieved then! Also didn't take long to get to dd (usually told it takes a while due to scar tissue so assuming their wasn't much as with each c section they take old scar out which I didn't know until the other day) staples don't hurt much being taken out usually they come out quite easy just the odd one that's stubborn. I've had the invisible stitches too as normal stitches and staples once before lol. Only problem they had with both anesethics is made me numb a lot higher than supposed too (he had already adjusted dose as low as possible) just my tinyness too teeny lol. So my chest was numb all muscles were unable to feel so felt like I couldn't breathe or even cough yet it wasn't the case just muscles relaxed.
Dd has been doing the same specially the first few nights home. Last night she was up hourly feeding and had a happy wake period where she playing (just looking around exercising those arms and legs) she is quite content doesn't cry much if she does just picking her up stops the sads then she'll pull hair or dh's goatee lol.

ashie it sounds like your recovery is going perectly! And back up to birth weight after 2 days at home is pretty impressive. How lovely for your DH to be so smitten with her too. Watching the men with the bubs is so beautiful.

Blue dont even get me started on the in laws lol they chucked a hissy fit because i missed a couple of phone calls on our first week home and thats unacceptable apparently. What ever! When I have a minute to myself I'm more concerned about finding time to eat and shower rather than make sure i politely return all phone calls. DP gave them a serve so hopefully they wont carry on like that again.

Im glad its not just my little one thats gassy! They are incredible. Full on loud farts! He has no shame The nurse finally came out to see us today at 3 weeks old! Hes put on 380grams since we left the hospital 2 weeks ago so im happy with that. She gave him a good check over which he hated the poor thing.
Im doing ok. The tenderness is almost totally gone and bleeding is pretty light. Exhausted and frustrated at DP. Hes great with henry but does absolutely nothing else at home. The place is a bit of a mess because I havent had time to do housework. Ive been so hesiant to talk to him about it though because we've been so tired it might just turn into an argument. Not that he should be tired considering he has taken to sleeping on the lounge so he doesnt have to wake up through the night with us. Ive taken it quite personally. I feel a bit gross at the moment and it feels like he doesnt want to sleep next to me. I keep having yucky dreams about him being with someone else while im recovering and getting back to normal It all sounds silly probably but its really playing on my mind. I've never felt more unattractive.
Anyway, I have been pretty open minded about parenting but the one thing i was hell bent against doing was cosleeping!! But alas, henry has slept in bed with me every night lol and its lovely. Do you guys cosleep? Any tips on safe cosleeping? Its just so much easier for us both at the moment with how often hes feeding.
