ashie it sounds like your recovery is going perectly! And back up to birth weight after 2 days at home is pretty impressive. How lovely for your DH to be so smitten with her too. Watching the men with the bubs is so beautiful.

Blue dont even get me started on the in laws lol they chucked a hissy fit because i missed a couple of phone calls on our first week home and thats unacceptable apparently. What ever! When I have a minute to myself I'm more concerned about finding time to eat and shower rather than make sure i politely return all phone calls. DP gave them a serve so hopefully they wont carry on like that again.

Im glad its not just my little one thats gassy! They are incredible. Full on loud farts! He has no shame The nurse finally came out to see us today at 3 weeks old! Hes put on 380grams since we left the hospital 2 weeks ago so im happy with that. She gave him a good check over which he hated the poor thing.
Im doing ok. The tenderness is almost totally gone and bleeding is pretty light. Exhausted and frustrated at DP. Hes great with henry but does absolutely nothing else at home. The place is a bit of a mess because I havent had time to do housework. Ive been so hesiant to talk to him about it though because we've been so tired it might just turn into an argument. Not that he should be tired considering he has taken to sleeping on the lounge so he doesnt have to wake up through the night with us. Ive taken it quite personally. I feel a bit gross at the moment and it feels like he doesnt want to sleep next to me. I keep having yucky dreams about him being with someone else while im recovering and getting back to normal It all sounds silly probably but its really playing on my mind. I've never felt more unattractive.
Anyway, I have been pretty open minded about parenting but the one thing i was hell bent against doing was cosleeping!! But alas, henry has slept in bed with me every night lol and its lovely. Do you guys cosleep? Any tips on safe cosleeping? Its just so much easier for us both at the moment with how often hes feeding.
