For those of you who didnt know I have a little girl chubba monster born 14/12/11 I endured lol 8hrs of labour, started on its own one day after her due date, used gas and air for pain relief. No epitosmy or stiches required
Mackenzie was born 14/12/11 at 1249pm, 8pnd13ounc 4kgs, hc 37cm, L56cm
She is perfect and feeding really well, has a full head of brown hair and her big brother is in LOVE hehehe.
I cant wait to get my body back plan to start in a week or two, once Kenzie is a bit more settled. Unfortunately she is feeding every 1.5 hrs its killing me not sure what to do might go talk to a LC soon. Today were at two weeks old and it was the first day I had a NORMAL routine going and actually managed to go food shopping and the park as well as clean the house felt like an accomplishment with both kids. Cant wait to get to know all you ladies and your bubbas feel free to add me on facebook

Yay friends :)
JBM and taurean - hope your LO are settling in nicely :)
AFM - Daylen is a little trooper, feeding so much better than his big brother ever did so I'm feeling really positive that we actually might make it this time, he's sleeping well to :) usually around 6-7 hours then wakes and feeds and goes straight back to sleep, most of the time he's up and down for the rest of the night but I lay him in bed with me and we both fall back to sleep. One night he slept 10pm to 6am :o man were my boobies sore lol
His big brother is totally smitten by him, he just wants to hug and kiss and touch him all the time, sometimes harder than he should, but he means no harm. It's day 11 and my house still looks like a bomb hit it and we are still eating take away or having dinner at my mums house haha I feel so slack but I will get round to cleaning it soon :) speaking of take away, I must dash, DH just got home with Thai :)

Hi mummas & bubs. I too have just found the new thread.
I gave birth to my gorgeous little man on 14th Dec, 7:39am. He is our third beautiful addition :). He was a beautiful healthy weight 4620gm (10lb 3oz) & 60cm long. I was blessed to have a beautiful spontaneous labour & birth. My older two are just in love with him and I have two massive helpers and little boy is being doted on. He is feeding like an absolute champ and weighed in today at 4840gm - my boy loves his tucker, LOL!!! His sleeping is hit and miss. Some sleeps in his bassinette, some in our arms and some in the car. Poor little man has been dragged from pillar to post. We'll start to get him sorted out in the next few days - we've been a really busy with the older two and them testing the boundaries and coming down off their christmas/new brother high.
I'll be back later to catch up properly and do some personals. Right now I had better get some washing done - my least favourite housework chore!!

Hi all I too have just found this thread
For those who know me from the bely buddies thread Hi and Hi to all the new additions to the thread and the babies.
We welcomed our second son Nikolai Johann into the world on the 13/12/2011 at 7.31am weighing 8 pound 3 ounces ( big jump from his brother 6 pound 13), we arrived the night before for me to be induced only to find out I was already 5cms but labour stalled half way through so my waters were broken than i started going back wards so agreed to the syncto drip but it was only on for 1.5 hours at a low rate before he arrived so we think it didnt really do much, due to his cleft lip and palate we started amazing the people in hospital as he managed to latch than he continued to breast feed but when my milk came in it was a lot harder as he couldnt mould my bb as they were too full, so i started expressing as i wanted Niko to have breast milk, but when we arrived home my milk decided to cut down and after a lot of stress and expressing every 2 hours to try to bring it back up we started mix feeding with formula which was very hard for me as i felt I had failed my little man, as i BF my older son to 20 months, but we are having a lot of trouble with my milk even after i was put on Dom peridone so we are taking it every day as it comes some days he has full formula bottles and some he has half formula and half breast milk but i will keep going as long as I can, and I agree a lot of people have a opinion on you if you formula feed, and they dont tend to find out the facts first

Hi Girls!
We are going really well bar a few hiccups  Chloe is a super relaxed baby and generally just eats and sleeps at this stage. Friends and family have all commented that they are yet to hear her cry, lol! She does cry but only briefly when she wants a feed or is not enjoying her bath or nappy change. She is just so chilled out! We may be in for a rude shock though around the 5 week mark when the little terrors suddenly wake up.
Breast feeding was going super well but Chloe managed to graze my nipples and now I have an staph infection in both breasts. I'm on antibiotics to treat it and hopefully avoid mastitis. I'm also pumping most feeds to rest my nipples for a few days. So glad I got onto my lactation consultant before it got worse. That woman is worth her weight in gold! Chloe attaches really well so once the grazes and infection have gone, we should hopefully continue to breastfeed well. My supply seems to be good (I'm pumping about 80ml each time which happens to be the perfect amount to knock Missy out!) and Chloe is demand feeding every 3 hours during the day and generally 4 over night. I'm super impressed!
We had an unexpected stay in hospital on Thursday night as Chloe had two scary choking episodes so the paediatrician wanted to monitor her overnight. The choking episodes were so damn scary, I honestly thought she was going to die :( She choked on mucous and struggled to clear her airways. There wasn't much we could do but hope she'd clear her nasal passage so she could breathe again. OMG, it was horrible. The paed was pretty sure it was left over mucous from her birth combined with reflux (she's a bit of a happy chucker) but he wanted to rule our laryngospasm. I made the mistake of Googling that when we got into our room at the hossi and pooped my pants! Nasty, nasty!! Anyway, to cut a long story short, she was monitored overnight and of course, nothing happend so we were discharged the next day with a few strategies to hopefully stop it from happening again and advice on what we can do if it does happen again, god forbid! So far she's been ok with the bassinet mattress tilted, extra burping and laying her on her side to sleep. Hopefully the mucous is all gone now too so we can sleep easy again, although my Angel Care Sound and Movement Monitor has certainly helped me to sleep since it happened.
DD1 is coping really well with Chloe's arrival and loves her little sister to bits. She does get a bit jealous when I'm feeding Chloe or expressing and demands 'mummy cuddles' but she's quickly realising she just has to wait. Her sleep has miraculously improved since Chloe's arrival too which is fantastic as we were having issues due to moving house and putting her in a new bed and I was so worried how we'd cope but she's sorted herself out. She has spent a couple of nights in our bed but we have a king size bed now (best purchase ever!) and she sleeps so well that we don't fight it!
I'm off to write my birth story while I have a bit of time. Both girls are asleep but I'll be due to pump again in about an hour.
Sleep well girls - and babies!

Hi girls! Haven't had much of a chance to read properly til now - you all know how it is ;) Alex is going well, he's one month today and can finally wear some of the 000 clothes I bought for him! He has cut out the late night feed and is feeding around 2am as well as 5am. Rest of the time varies from 2 to 4 hourly. He's just coming out of a wonder week so we've had some really unsettled days, yesterday I couldn't put him down all day! Thank god I bought a carrier this time as he was in that for most of the day. Today has been better. It's amazing to see the changes in him though - he's smiling now and has heaps more control of his head.
My older son is starting to get a bit rough with all of us, I think the excitement of xmas and new years isn't helping! So poor Alex has copped a couple of whacks but nothing too hard, he slapped me across the face earlier though. New bub is a breeze compared to the toddler! How are everyone else's older children coping?
Reading about some of you going on walks with your new bubs is making me jealous! It's way too hot here to walk, and once it cools down we've got Moo to get organised for bed. Though I did manage to get out last night in an effort to stop Alex screaming, it worked!
Belle - how are you going with your DH away? Did you end up driving him to the airport?
Jelly - how is Eliya going? Still chucking a bit? Alex had a very spewy day today  at one point Moo screamed and ran out of the room!
Bee - good to see you in here, congratulations again!
Dan - hi there, great to hear your two older ones love your little man!
Sarah - good to see you in here too, how is Nikolai going with his feeding? Is he going to need surgery on his cleft palate? Sorry I can't recall if you already said in our belly buddies group.
Hi to Amanda, Williever, Alicia and everyone else. We should get a list going with names etc. Hope all the little bubs are going well, and those feeling the heat are managing to stay cool. Thank god for air con is all I can say to a top of 40 today!

Hi Cheezel
Nikolai is going really well with his feeding he took to the special teat right away and hasnt looked back, i am a bit disapointed though that I didnt get to continue with breast feeding and than my milk kept dropping off so I just decided it was easier and more stable for Niko to be on formula as it means he gets a better nights sleep as well, and yes he will have surgery on his lip and palate, his lip will get done at about 3 months or 5kg, and his palate will get done between 6 and 12 months, than from there it will depend on how he grows which decides how many more he will have but due to his palate i believe he will have another one at about 8 for a bone graft to his palate, I will keep everyone updated on his operations and how he is going. In our eyes he is perfect unfortunately when we went to the shops the other day other people didnt think the same and were quite rude about it, I have no problem people coming up and asking and having a chat to me about it, its the ones that stare and make faces and rude comment that upset me
-
Cheezel monster: wow 1 month already and 000 he must be big Eli has only just started fitting his 0000 but at the rate he is going wont be long till he is 000, you must be so stoked about Alex smiling! how adorable i cant wait for my little boy to smile. Eli has had quite good control of his head sice birth and is quite strong all round how i dont know cause he hardly moved while inside to exercise them.
The chucking has improved we decided on the generic s-26 which is called amcal gold same thing but only $17 a tin and with him drinking 120mlper feed now every 2-3hrs we need cheaper ,will keep him on it a while and see how it goes but his poos re getting softerwhich is good w got our first explosive one on new years morning lol.
A list of names is a great idea!
princess: how bizarre that people would make faces and rude comments whats wrongwith people, I bet Nik is gorgeous :) good to hear he is feeding well sorry abiout you not being able to BF how are you coping? i was upset for weeks but Eli is much more settled and i get more rest and help from other people which has helped me recover mentaly and physically alot quicker.
in other news: Have a Dr app today as i got a phonecall asking to come in regarding my second visit to hospital so that will be interesting and our first trip out alone together, Quickly discovering how political the world of parenting is lol just smile and nod.
