Hi All,
Just found this thread.
We welcomed our second son into the world on 8 December 2011 at 3:03pm. I was induced. I had my waters broken and had the synto drip put on very low. Took about an hour for contractions to commence and my little man entered the world approx 1hr 45mins later. When my Ob entered the room he told me to push with the next contraction and it was that next contraction I had his head out and then next contraction he was out. 2 pushes :o)
We named our little Prince Brax David. He was 3.4kg or 7pd 5oz.
We are BF and everything has been perfect for the last 4weeks. He has been a great sleeper too.
He has been a little unsettled the last couple of days and has been wanting to feed lots more. Hoping it is just a growth spurt that will settle as my boobs are getting a little sore.
Brax's big brother Jett has been great. Loves his little brother but smothers him a little too much at times.
Facebook group sounds awesome we can put faces to names too.
I look forward to getting to know you all better and share this journey with u all.
Hi lovelies!
I have made our Facebook group! It is set to secret though so not sure if you'll be able to find it?? Try searching for it, it's called December 1st - 15th BB Baby Buddies but if you can't find it, feel free to add me and I'll add you to it.. I am Alicia H.olyoake obviously without the full stop after the H hehe :) My profile pic is of my DS holding DD who is all wrapped up in pink.. I find it much easier to keep in touch via FB than BB so look forward to getting to know you all better soon! xx

Hi girls and bubs!
Sarah - I'm glad Nikolai has taken to the bottle well, sounds like he's thriving! What a shame people can be so rude when you're out and about. I bet he's a gorgeous little boy. I know it's not the same but Moo had a haemangioma on his bottom lip from 3 weeks on, so had a large blood filled area that was quite noticeable. I remember people staring and making little remarks and how it made me feel
Jelly - glad the change in formula is making a difference, how did your appt at the hospital go? Very sorry to hear your G'ma is sick.
Lani - good to see you in here, glad things are going well with your two little men!
Alicia - I can't find the group so will request you, I'm Danielle B a r b e r :D my pic is of the four of us, think I have a blue dress on. I know what you mean about FB being easier, so thanks for making the group.
Hope everyone else is going well, Alex has been sleeping heaps during the day but making up for it at night. After his 2am feed it's very hard to get him back to sleep! Feel free to add me to FB, name is above.
Danielle
Hi all

Hello Ladies!
Yay FB group, I will add you Alicia, my name is Belle S e l l e r s and will friend request you *goes to check what profile pic is* haha mine is a black and white pic of DH and I, DH has an ugly goaty (I hate it lol).
I find it easier to keep up with FB than BB, I read all the forum stuff but find it hard to reply on here because I will start a post then forget about it and get distracted with feeds and changes etc.
Jelly - Sorry to hear about your Nanna, hope you have family close by at this time. That baby powder sounds different, Im going to have to keep my eye out for it at the shops.
M-Lani- Hello!!! 2 pushes go you!!! That is some good work :) Nice name, I havent really heard it before.
Cheezle - Wonderweeks oh the joy! It is so nice to see them advance but the lack of sleep is insane lol DH is still away, going ok so far... not able to pay as much attention to my dogs tho and they are getting a bit sooky, really missing DH and he is going to be so amazed when he gets home to see how much Clay has changed. How is your eldest going now? Still a bit rough?
Hello to everyone else, we are all finishing wonderweeks or just starting them so best of luck to you guys :) Cant wait to put faces to names on FB and see your gorgeous bubs!

Hi girls.
ive joined this thread and the january one. you girls were a great help for me during the pregnancy so wanted to be able to keep in touch with you while slater grows up, and i know you will all have great advice when i need it.
for those that werent in our Belly Group - my first little one arrived a little later than schedule and was born on 7th Jan. Have just been getting my self sorted and together so have been MIA from BellyBelly for the week. He was born by C/S due to postdates and my cervix not opening and him moving from being engaged to moving back up away from Pelvis... he was just too comfy in there apparently.
breastfeeding seems to be going well. he weighed 3350 at birth, 3150 at day three and 3270 on day five so he was gaining weight well and my milk had come in. He seems to feed every 3-4 hours sometimes last a bit longer. but generally a happy boy. Today he has been feeding a little closer together during the day 2.5-3 hours but im thinking this could be a little growth spurt he is having. He is a guzzler too so he tends to choke a bit on the milk cuz i think he is just eating soo quickly. not sure if there is anything i can do to stop this happening?
Im also not sure how long to feed for. Cuz he feeds so quickly he can be done on one breast in nearly 15 mins some feeds. Other times will feed for 25mins. He will come off the breast and i will then offer the other side which he sometimes will feed for 10 mins and other times only for a few minutes before falling off to sleep. I think this is fine since he is still sleeping well and has dirty or wet nappies 6-8 times a day. does this sound okay to you girls?
We had our first outing the other night for hubbys dads bday and feeding timed really well with feeding just before we left at 530 and then we managed to go out, have dinner and get home and feed him again before bed at 930pm. It was great to take him out and use the pram and feel like a real family. Hubby looked very cute pushing the pram. He is being such a great dad - even though there isnt much he can do at the moment since Slater seems to feed, sleep and poo - you can just see how much he loves him, its just wonderful to see. I offer him as many dirty nappies as i can so he can have some boy time (and he gets me out of nappy duty!) it will be great when he is a little older and has more awake time to spend with his daddy.
hope all of your girls are going well with your newborns - im not sure if i will be much help in here now as i know nothing about babies, but i look forward to talking to you and sharing our little ones lives.
Looks like we all made it on facebook lol been no posts for a while. I just expressed for the first time and fed my little one with the bottle no real reason just thought we would do something different and i wanted to see how much I got only 100mls was hoping for more gave it to her and shes out like a light hehehe
Im going on a drinking night out in three weeks so its nice to know she will take the bottle now to stock up the freezer......
