Kimmi my bub gets wind pain a lot, and was comfort feeding and sucking A LOT, especially at night. I gave in and introduced a dummy. Best decision I ever made. Lol. It settles him instantly and means he's not on the boob so much at night. He's still putting on half a kilo a week with way less feeds, so I'm confident he just wanted boob for comfort. Oh, and now I don't have to feed him just to get him to sleep- I just give him the dummy. I never wanted to use one, but it's working for us.
