    Hi all,

Well, we are all good at my house! DS2 is being rather delightful, though could still sleep more at night, lol. But we have been having on average 2 1/2-3hr stretches which is pretty good if I go to bed at a reasonable hour! Though probably 3-4 mornings a week he will be awake for an hour or two in the wee hours of the morning, juust unsettled and farty, hehe (though it's not so amusing at 4am). He's getting chatty and is very smiley! I love it! He is so happy through the day and is going off to sleep for his naps on his own in his cot as long as I wrap him and stick his dummy in! And he sleeps 2-3hrs even through the big kids yelling and screaming. I am tired as but I have a feeling I am probably still anaemic. I must go for my 6wk check, and for Caelans immunisations!

Ok that's it, just a quicky, DH has to go to bed for his night shift tonight...then 4 more after this, ick, not looking forwards to that! And I think I'm tired now....silly woman!

Tegam - comparisons to childbirth? must be a tough workout! give me laps anyday

lilias - sounds like you've settled into a good routine with DS2 - hope he keeps on being such a happy baby!

Needles didn't have that much of an effect on David - he was grizzly at lunchtime yesterday but from the arvo onwards he's been normal really. Has 2 little red marks on his legs, that's all. I quickly weighed him on some scales that were at the clinic - not sure how accurate they were but he's 6.3kg according to those. I was going to get him properly weighed and measured etc today but my local clinic is closed today - I'll try again next Thurs, last chance before we move.

Packing, packing, packing. Gee, I've accumulated so much stuff since I moved into this place 4 yrs ago - probably has something to do with getting married and tripling all my kitchen gear/linen etc!! I've packed so many boxes and it looks like I've barely scratched the surface - probably because the boxes I've packed are things from the cupboards. Thinking that sometime next week I'll pack a suitcase for DH and me, and one for bub, with all the essentials for a few days, that way I won't have to rush around looking for particular things in the boxes straight away. Mum's coming with me on Sat to wipe down the cupboards and shelves and bathrooms so that everything's ready to put stuff away in the following wkend. DH is going to put up the curtain rails so we can hang the curtains (yes, those famous curtains that put me into labour) - looking forward to seeing them up, even if I don't get around to hemming them for a week or two.

So glad the humidity is gone and we have power - I'm really appreciating having fans and air-con that works! It's actually comfortable in the house

DH has worked long hours at our block with his dad and brother, preparing the cabling so that Western Power can connect up our house next week - they had to dig a big trench to lay it, then fill it in before this morning when some more limestone was being delivered - they were at it til late last night and DH left again early this morning - I think his dad slept at the block so he could do more work early this morning. Someone's going to be a tired hubby tonight!

Ahhh, just woke up from a two hour+ nap! We've had a flat out couple of days here. I survived netball last night with all three boys tagging along and today DS1 LOVED his first day of all-day preschool. I took DS2 and DS3 into work - which is over an hour's drive away - to show off. They were both brilliant - Josh slept all the way there and home and DS2 slept most of the way there. They both charmed everybody. Josh was all smiles and laughs - little show off.

Trying to get dinner ready. Later.

Just saying hello, started uni this week so lots going on! So incredibly scared about completing a thesis and looking after Sammy! He's a wonder though, we're down to one feed a night around half two and then waking up for the day around half six, which would have appalled me a year ago but seems pretty reasonable now! He's all smiley and chatty, we're outgrowing some of the 000 and onto the 00, he's so tall! The only real problems we've had have been some screaming while he's feeding in the evening, which I think is just me not burping him enough during the day and it builds up It makes me so sad when he cries and seems to be in pain. Tried to put on my old jeans today and they don't fit - BOOO!!!! I'm steadily losing weight, but not back to pre-preg yet, bit more time I think. And my body shape seems to have changed a bit, which sucks. Who knew pregnancy would have such an effect, lol.

Wishing everyone lots of sleep xo

Hi everybody, looks like we're all super-busy at the moment. Remember what we were like when we were pregnant? Unlimited time to come on here and talk about nothing much at all?!?!

I suppose I'm no exception, we were out all day Saturday and then I took some 'me' time yesterday afternoon and went out by myself. Where did I go? To look at display homes! I'm such a dag, but I love it. Got some good ideas about when we finally build or rebuild. We're actually thinking it will be more financially sound to build elsewhere rather than knockdown and rebuild, but we love where we are, so who knows? We have a few years to make up our minds yet - wanna get our mortgage down under $100K first.

Josh was asleep the whole time I was gone. In fact, he slept for over 6 hours yesterday afternoon! I guess his cousin's birthday party on Saturday really wiped him out. I thought it would mess up his night sleeps, but apart from him going to bed later, he was the same as usual - only getting up the once.

What else has been going on...? We're trying to figure out enrollments and applications for DS1's big school (1st grade). I can't believe we're doing it already - he's only 3! We also have to get DS2's application sorted for pre school for next year. Josh has been so much fun - we have long chats, even though I have no idea what about He is also prone to the giggles and when he's awake he's almost always smiling He bats at his toys in the bouncer or under his playgym and is so very proud of himself when he manages to make them swing. The older boys still adore him and he's constantly covered in kisses.

Right now though, he's due for a nap! Hope you're all well. If I have time later today, I'll come back and do some personals

Kit - Sammy's doing so well! Maybe try Infacol for the wind - it helps my DS bring up his burps. Trying on the pre-preg jeans already! I'm not game to even try yet I'm happy I can get into my pre-preg trackies

Mitz - you did great to bf that long - glad K's settling better for you now

    Disgirl - Josh sounds awesome!

I was surrounded by boxes on Friday, but DH has taken two loads to the new house - one on Sat and again today, so now I've got room to pack some more! We're slowly getting there - some things really can't be done until the last day or two.

    Better go - someone's awake!

    ok, I'm back. .

things going well with the house - tiles are done and carpet goes down tomorrow, then air-con and blinds installed on Thurs. The road up to the house is being sealed tomorrow as well - no more bumpy rides! The only hiccup is that we'll still only have temporary power until March 21, which means we can plug into it, but not have the lights and appliances hooked up etc. So it'll be a bit like camping for a week or so - cooking on a camp stove, torches and candles after dark, air-con won't be connected but at least we can plug in a few fans to keep us going. Weather is much milder this week, so hopefully the worst of the heat is over now. Looking forward to getting there and starting to arrange everything - I LOVE my new kitchen - can't wait to have it all set up

I probably won't be online much since we won't have our computer set up until we get the power connected, but I'll borrow the in-laws internet a few times if I get the chance
