Andie, sorry you're having some problems with early morning wake-ups. I hope they are short lived and he's back to his usual sleeping.

Funny the way our parents remember our childhood. My Mum said my sister and I were good as gold. I say she's looking back through rose-coloured glasses as surely we got into some sort of mischief!! As for toilet training, from memory, both my boys were 3+ before they were toilet trained. And DS2 had a night nappy for quite a while after that too. I can't say that giving them the extra year caused them (or me) any lasting issues.

I came down unwell last week and ended up in hospital over the weekend having my gallbladder removed. Still in quite a bit of pain when moving from sitting to standing etc. Haven't been able to pick up DD2, can only give her cuddles if DH gets her from the bassinet for me, and poor DD1 just wants to run and lunge herself at me, have to keep my guard up to block my tummy!
