DT- you gotta be much cleaner with girls (make sure inside is always 100% spotless)
i agree boys are 10times easier to clean lol
i cant currently complain about Hudsons sleeping and eating (must be 3rd child - they know they wont be heard over the older 2 lol)

i hate heat rash, i wish i had ideas for you xoxo

Mot: Jude used to get those blisters, too. Lilac got dry lips that peeled in hospital, but has soft beautiful lips now. My nipples are very soft now, too.

When she feeds, my boobs drip like a tap and when she comes off the boob they keep running, it's serious let down. It seems really watery, though. I feel like I'm not producing much hind milk. A lactation consultant told me not to worry about hind milk, she said it doesn't take long and it all mixes, but lilac's doing thin, watery and frothy yellow poos today, so it's either an intolerance to something I ate or not enough hind milk.

    I hate worrying.

MOT love it- stuck the dummy in

Sophie is on her 2nd sucking blister. It doesnt seem to worry her.

She also has a big unsettled period each night from about 9pm- 10/11pm (just when everybody is desparte for sleep) crys, feeds, pulls off, burps/pukes, feeds, screams. Hope that sorts it self out soon

    PZ- how you feeling love?
JM and Kitten how you guys going?
K- did the bricks elevating the bassinette help? we have ours raised at 1 end too

Looks like we'll be seeing Anila soon- congrats hun

Hey ladies I've been a bit absent - in a sleep deprived haze lol. So I read a lot, try to reply and nothing comes out But, I figured I better contribute something one of these days! And now I've got a lot to catch up on so this'll probably be long lol.

Annabelle had a little blister on her top lip too, but it's gone today. Didn't fuss her at all at least.

DT, we have those unsettled periods too. We found that she had gas, and she fell asleep really easily if I stood up with her (usually with her still attached to the boob lol). I think so far all of our unsettled periods have been due to gas, but I can't work out if there's anything I'm eating which is causing it - it's pretty random. Hope Sophie gets better for you soon.

Lol at the tap boobs K! I've got the same thing, I'm going through so many breast pads, it's ridiculous. I agree with MoT, I wouldn't worry about her not getting hind milk - your breasts know what they're doing. Sounds more like an intolerance to something to me, based on what our Community Midwife has told us.

PZ, how are you feeling? I saw your other post about going to hospital, hope you're feeling ok now.

MoT, what a sleeper you've got there!! Do you reckon the co-sleeping helps? We've had a bit of trial and error with Annabelle's bed, getting it right for her. We've now got it warmer, and a bit softer, and adjusted the temp in our room. Seems to have worked - night before last she fed every three hours, last night she slept from 10-4, then 4:30-7:30 I couldn't believe it! I had a fantastic sleep for those 6 hours, but poor DH was up all the time checking on her cos he got worried. I woke up absolutely soaked though, with giant melon boobs

As for bubs herself, she's going strong - she's growing so fast! Getting lots of awake time too - last night we bathed her at about 6:30 (she loves baths) she fed a bit, then just was awake for ages. Went in her swing, and had lots of play with Daddy - he managed to get out lots of gas lol. She had a change, another feed and into bed at 10. Can't believe she was awake that long, but I guess that contributed to the 6 hour sleep last night.

We took her into my work yesterday to open an account for her (I work in a bank) and she got loads of attention as she was having more awake time and charming everyone with her cute little expressions lol. Got hungry half way through the appointment so I did my first public BF! Took her out shopping again today and went much better than last time, she just looked around at everything.

Well, enough about me, hope everyone's doing well and enjoying your little ones

awesome KT ill add you (my profile pic is bubs face)

i doubt co-sleeping is making him an awesome sleeper as my daughter was the same and she slept in the bassinette
he co-sleeps cause he wouldnt stay settled in the bassinette and its easier in the bed.
MCH nurse came and his put on 80gms! so his almost back to his birth weight

    his got milk pimples

we are getting lots of awake time too, i love it

Welcome Belle! Love your DD's name

MoT, I don't have a boy to compare to, but Annabelle sure is hungry! And growing super fast. At 8 days old she was already 330g above her birth weight, and one of her 000 suits is almost too small! She definitely spends a lot of time feeding.

Last night was crappy, she was very windy. DH was up with her from 3-6, just calming her and getting lots of farts lol. I then took over from 6-9, but when she's with me she just wants boob, and gets very grumpy if I do anything DH would do to help get rid of wind. Makes me feel a bit useless really, feeding her can't help the situation but she doesn't seem to want anything else from me.

Just been to the bank again, to update all our insurances. I think she's decided that's the place for me to whip out the milk! We spent half the appointment with her feeding lol.

MoT, little Hudson is so adorable!

i remember Jhett suffering with wind (used to break our hearts)

    Sounds like Tahtah KT

OMG Hudson has actually had a nap in his OWN bed LOL on his side but in his OWN bed (not that i dont enjoy co-sleeping its just hard sometimes with the older 2 during the day)

Hi everyone. Thought I'd stop by and introduce myself!

I'm Lani, and our little princess Felicity Jane was born at 2.26am on Saturday 25th June after a 1.5 hour labour. She is our second baby, her big brother Thomas is 2 next week. We only stayed the one night in hospital, which was a bit of a nightmare as Flick didn't sleep at all. We just fed, all night. I was exhausted after getting no sleep the night she was born either. But the pay off was my milk came in by Sunday night and since then she's been much happier. She feeds often, but is quite content and rarely cries. She's beginning to sleep forlonger periods of time, so hopeful I might start getting more than an hours sleep at a time soon! She's been a great little breastfeeder so far so my nipples have escaped major damage. Fingers crossed they stay that way!

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know u all and your bubbas. Hi mot & kuraiza :-) glad we ended up in the same babies group x

for the first time bubs didnt crack my nipples which is suprising as his tounge tied

because of all the time it takes to feed my foxtel planner is so full LOL and some of the shows are just mindless but make perfect night feeds shows

we are getting so much AWAKE time now and i love it!

Hi Lani, congrats on the birth of Felicity Are the girls outnumbering the boys in here?

Lol MoT, she's only a snug fit in two of her 000, I held them up to her 0000 suits and they're the same size. They still fit, but not for long!

Getting loads of awake time here now too, I love it And slowly getting into a good method of feeding and sleeping, I think my old way was giving her wind and making her really unsettled.

Went to Target today, surprise surprise she needed a feed! Even though I fed her just before we left. I think she's an exhibitionist lol.

    Hope everyone's settling in well
