kaytee - yeh i dont get tizzy hall stuff, how can you set babies by the clock when they dont understand time??

i had william cosleeping with us the other night after his immunisations, coz then he slept relatively well and he was upset. good luck with your immunisations, william was off for that night but back to normal the next day.

i think william is about to have another growth spurt, he has been feeding 2.5hourly of a day and 4hourly of a night and has put on some chubb. His measurements at 4 months were height: 68cm weight: 7.51kg.

melbournemumma - sounds like your on the right track with waiting for solids to me. as long as he is growing and putting weight on, and is a happy bubba i wouldnt worry about what percentile he is in. good luck with your needles.

MoT - congrats on selling your place and gl with the move. sorry to hear about dh finger but glad that its fixed.

william likes complete darkness too, no night light.

sorry to hear about your back, nothing worse than a bad back and having to carry your baby everywhere.

bloom - welcome to the thread

afm - the midwife at my centre said the new recommended age will probably be 5 months, but to go by what your baby wants. ie william is watching us eat with interest and opening his mouth to a spoon but he hasnt got the hang of pushing his tongue to back of mouth. so she said to wait until hes reaching out for food and crying if you dont give it to him. coz she said babies tend to tell you when they are ready, and it usually coincides with when their gut is ready too.
