We've had accidents galore here, FW! I had her on the loo earlier, probably for about 40 minutes. Asked her if she wanted to get down, she kept saying no, no. Finally she got down, hadn't done anything, walked out into our living area and whoops!!!! She cried :(
I think it's going to be a while before things click, but she's nappy free today, so we'll see how we go.
Mo - Museum sounds like fun.
Both girls loved it & both slept so well that nght.
It's was a long day with being on the train for over an hour each way then all the walking but it was a nice day out :D
I'm looking forward to Aug, Maddi is already excited about going. Last time she went was when K was 6 or so months old so they both should be able to enjoy it much more this time.
I think we will take a picnic as the price of food is ridiculous.
Only 11wks till M's birthday, i still can't believe she'll be 4 & i have a strong gut feeling i'll be hospital for her birthday this year so that makes me sad as well.
I'm thinking we will celebrate it 1-2wks early just to be safe.
I have nothing ready for Bambi & every week i go it's ok i have xx amount weeks left. This rate i'll be packing both our bags during labour!!
Everytime i go shopping to buy something i never do, i'm so not feeling it this pregnancy.
We're excited too - I meant to say that I'll get some Viva paper towels - they're offering a buy 1 get 1 free for Healesville Sanctuary until Aug 31, so will come in handy :D Sorry you're not feeling it yet with your pregnancy. I can only imagine how yucky it's been with all the m/s.
I'm feeling very jealous of you all, with your new bubs and expectant bubs. We're still waiting in limbo here. FW & JF how are you both feeling?

I dunno if i'm not feeling it because it's my last & it's hard to justify buying new things when they'll only born worn for short amount of time or if all the bleeding & m/s has put a real downer on it.
Also I Miss my Mum. I want my Mum & i hate that they'll never meet & it breaks my heart.
It's not fair & life is cruel.
Mums birthday is Sept 21st so it's hard to be excited when there is just another reminder my Mum is no longer around just 2wks before she is due.
Maybe i'll go crazy with nesting during the last weeks..

Greetings from Sweden, where we moved 2 weeks ago. It's a beautiful summer here but I'm having some behavioral issues with DS1 Archie, who is born march 21 2009, so I thought I'd write up about it here. Ever since we got here, we've been having some massive tantrums from him and I feel so sorry that we've uprooted him from his familiar world in oz and my parents, to a new country with a new language. He has been hitting other kids, and is generally very rowdy and we have put him on antibiotics as he had this horrendous cold and then got bitten by a tick. I feel so bad for my little man, then there are times I can't stand to be around him as he is driving me out of my mind.
We just got back from lunch at my MIL's. It was quite tiring, gambas played up heaps (as he has been doing lately, today was even worse as he missed his afternoon nap). My MIL's partner at one stage got frustrated with him and shoved him, I was absolutely stunned (but can also understand an old guy who isn't used to kids). We went home straight away but now I regret not saying anything. I felt really bad for Archie (who was being a pain, but still). I discipline my kids (and not physically), not someone else! In a way it could have been worse as we were thinking of going away with my MIL and her partner for 1-2 weeks, so we have cancelled that- thankfully we weren't on holidays with another 1-2 weeks ahead of us!
Anyway, just needed to vent. Moving countries is hard. With a toddler even harder. Maybe I'll make a new post on BB and ask for people's advice if you don't mind me plagiarizing my own words from this thread.

I had some bleeding again last night & here is what happened.
They got me in nice & early this morning. I'm glad i don't go on Thursdays it's so busy & there was no parking.
Anyways, i'm starting to dilate but he said it's normal being my 3rd pregnancy, he couldn't see any reason for the bleeding but if i have any more bleeds then i need to go for an U/S. Otherwise my cervix looks normal for 28wks & a 3rd pregnancy :)
Bambi is fine & measuring on dates with a lovely strong HB.
My Iron levels are dropping fast & at this rate i'll need another infusion before i give birth because if i hemorrhage again then i'll have no way to build my blood count back up without an Transfusion or 2.
My Vit D levels are even lower & i have to take twice the dose of Vit D & Bambi will need some after birth as well because it will have an effect on her.
My GTT results were. 4.2, 6.6 & 6.1 so all completely normal.
I see him again next week & then fortnightly, till 36wks & then weekly visits.
Time is going to go a lot faster now!

Glad to hear everything is ok Mo! Bambi is certainly keeping you on your toes! That sucks about your mum. I wish that she was here for you too. Maybe you and the girls can make some cupcakes in her favourite colours for her birthday as a nice little memorial. Something to keep you busy whilst remembering her, plus you get to eat cupcakes :)
PRMG - I'm feeling pretty good, thanks for asking. 3rd trimester was the worst for me with DD so I'm dreading reaching that point again, especially with DD to run around after.
We bought a step up toilet seat for the new house and I set it up the other day. We are still in the process of moving/cleaning/unpacking but DD was super excited to sit on it and wouldn't get off so I left her on it whilst I packed up some stuff. About 30secs later I hear, "Mummy! Yucky!" She had done a poo but tried to stand up halfway through and it dropped onto the ground! Haha, at least it was a solid one. She is well and truly ready to toilet train so once we are in the house I think we will only have nappies for sleeping.
Tanya - Sorry to hear that Archie is being difficult. I think the key is to get him into some kind of routine so he knows what to expect. Especially being in unfamilar environments at least he will be comforted by knowing what is happening next. Good luck!
DD had mudcrab for dessert the other night. Dad brought one home over the weekend and forgot to freeze it so ended up cooking it after dinner. It was awesome for her to get to see it uncooked and change colour in the pot then to break it open and eat the meat. A good life experience I reckon, to see where some of our food comes from and the process behind it.
We move in on Saturday so things are busy busy at the moment. I start my uni course on Monday, hoping I haven't bitten off more than I can chew. We're thinking about taking DD to the circus in a couple of weeks too.

We're still Madame Fusspot over here with food. Although she did eat some homemade sausage rolls today, and was brave to try some jelly too (yep, even jelly is a problem). Everything she eats is bland. Rice, cruskets, weetbix, sultana bran buds. She'll usually eat mashed potato/pumpkin/sweet potato but lately that's been a firm "No" too. I made some blueberry muffins which she devoured - but that night she broke out into a bumpy rash over both thighs. Annoying because she can eat the Gloria Jeans blueberry muffins without a reaction. TT has halted again, but I'm not too fussed because it's just so cold!

MG your DD sounds a lot like Maddi. She is still a fussy eater & will not try new food.
Tho i actually got her to eat roast beef the other day by saying it was a type of Chicken. She loved it & even had seconds i was so shocked.
So completely random question.
If i was to buy a bulk freezer pack from the butchers, how long would the meat stay fresh for?

I'm still undecided if we should spend $270 on capsule that will only be used for 6 months but will be easier when bubs is a newborn or spend $170 & buy M the Hi Liner & put Bambi straight into carseat.

I reckon you'd be right to freeze the meat for a couple of months. I guess it depends on what you're buying but the butcher would tell you for sure! We have a guide in our freezer that says 0-3 months for fish, cooked meals, pasta and icecream; 3 - 6 months for lamb, bread, game meats and pizza; 6 - 12 months for beef, vegetables, cake and chicken. That's just a normal freezer on top of a fridge. I know if they're vacuum sealed, they last even longer.
If it was me, I'd go the car seat. We went straight into the seat for DD, she's still in it now, and she'll be in it for some while yet. We got the safe and sound meridian and it's been fantastic. We went that way because we knew we wouldn't have had the money to change seats, and we haven't regretted it.
And lastly, yeah, we'll be bring lunch to Healesville but no doubt DH will indulge in a bucket of chips :lol: I have a buy 1 get 1 free voucher for you too for an adult ticket.

We have a similar guide on our freezer too PRMG. Only difference is it says up to 9 months for chicken and lamb and up to 12 month for beef.
Is hiring a capsule an option Mo? Especially if Bambi is going to be your last bub, although I suppose you could sell the capsule when you're done with it.
It's hard to know what to do, I see alot of people with capsules and think how convenient it is but DD was almost 10pd so we probably would get less than 6 months use out of one. So I'm leaning towards upgrading to a booster seat and reusing the convertible seat we've already got. Same thing with prams, we didn't get a toddler seat pram for DD so I'm hoping she'll be happy to walk by then, plus I've got a carrier just in case.
