hey, is it normal for bub to chuck every littlke bit of bf up? she usualy has a ff top up arround lunch, dosent bring much up, probably just a little, not even 5ml. but after ever bf she cucks, and i mean chucks! if you caught it all she would get a whole feed out of it, its definatly the bf, she had a bottle befor bed last night, had wind but not a perk, slept all night () when she woke, my bb's were killing, but befor she finnished she burped and it ALL came up. it's more watery then when she brings a little of the formula up i thought she was just over feeding the last few days, but each time its only after bf that she dose it?

Sarah - DD2 did this, would chuck up a heap of bm but not formula? Didnt help her FTT issues unfortunately and one of the many things that led to her being fully formula fed by 4 weeks

I just have a bottle holder near me when I feed and bottle diesnt gi cold ever- though H is downing 200ml in no time now! He is a fast feeder!
If we are going out then I make the bottle but just put boiling water in it and put the formula in my dispenser and then by the time it's feed time the bottle is at right temp and I just add the formula. Or if we are in the car I heat it in a warmer that plugs into lighter.
H was so good at his chiro appointment! Didn't cry once and even fell asleep on the table.
H is so cheeky now! He smiles all the time and he giggles now too, so cute! If you talk to him he talks back its cool!

Never had a bottle warmer though, sounds like a great idea!!!

Is it normal for BF babies not to poo for a long time? Its been 8 days so far and still no poo. I asked the paed at the hospital and he was like "oh yes well as long as the poo comes out runny its fine" well dumbass the problem is THERE IS NO POO COMING OUT!!! Last time he pooed was lunch time last Thursday and it was runny just a little bit thicker than usual. Is there anything I can eat that will make him poo???

Kitty - perfectly normal for no poo. I read once that it's normal to go up to 28 days between poos!!! Imagine the explosion!!!

Nerd burger - a name I call DS from time to time when he is being silly and it's better than swearing at him..

mel: well he had a poo-splosion last week cos it had been 5 days since his last poo so im worried what his next one will be like. It was so stinky, like i was standing in the aisle with him in his pram and suddenly sniffed something that was so gawdawful i thought there was a decaying rat somewhere. turns out its my kid lol.

Kylz I wish I'd known it could be given at room temp from the start, but the midwives always heated it so that's what I did. I've already had an incident while we were out where he wouldn't take the bottle but was screaming coz he was hungry :-( it was horrible!

Jak that bottle warmer sounds good. Where did you get it from?

Lou- he was really good. Had a couple of boobs and all good. All the older kids were running around but they had it up so loud you couldn't hear them
Have you thought about attaching C's cot to the side of your bed and just removing the side? I wanted to but dh said no he is a poo poo bum.

I still haven't had my GTT and W is 8 weeks!!! Ridiculous!

Oh good. That's what DH said leave her on the boob the whole movie haha. That's what we did with ella and it was awesome! But we were in a different house then, and where we are now her cot won't fit and ella was on our bed sidecart til she was 2 so DH is hesitant to let me do anything like that lol. I'm hoping she will just decide her room is awesome she's ok for day sleeps so heres hoping
