Sarah - DD2 did this, would chuck up a heap of bm but not formula? Didnt help her FTT issues unfortunately and one of the many things that led to her being fully formula fed by 4 weeks

Hi all! I am reading along but trying to get as much rest as possible when H is down because he wants to be held all the time lately. I'm exhausted, house is a mess and another friend arrives from Sydney tomorrow. I'm over caring about the housework, but we're running out of clean clothes lol. Thank gawd it's Friday!

Re sterilising - MIL suggested sterilising till bubs starts crawling. We have an avent iq electric one so it's not really that difficult, and make bottles up in advance in the fridge. I would love to give themto him at room temp but he spits it out if it's not warm.

Re the cot - H has been sleeping in the cot at night from the start. During the day he sleeps in a bassinet in the loungeroom so he has noise around him. I didn't want a baby that needed quiet to sleep so we'll see how that goes. Not sure what we'll do now that he's almost too big for it.

I'm still not feeling great, but not feeling overwhelmed anymore and it crying all the time. I feel like I can cope better, even if nothing's getting done. Oh, and AF showed up this morning... Ugh!

This is EXACTLY why I started with them at room temp. I have a friend who has to heat up her baby bottle 2 or 3 times a feed cause as soon as it gets a tad cold she wont drink it. Plus room temp makes it soooo much easier when out. I dont have to worry about finding a microwave.

Re AF - I Hear you Ali. Mine turned up yesterday and today the pain is just a niggle. yesterday way nothing.
