tams: chase still only goes to sleep around 9.30pm-10.30pm and then wakes up 5.30am-6.30am so he sleeps for 8 hours. Wish he went for 12 hours you lucky thing. The best part is though when he wakes up for the 5.30 or 6.30 feed he goes straight back to sleep for another 4 hours So I guess i do get my 12 hours, just with a break in between. Chase grunts when he wakes up and then when I peek in at him he smiles, probably cos he knows the milk bar has arrived but still, makes me smile

lou: maybe growth spurt actually chase went through a sleepy phase last week and that was his 3 weeks thingy, like every 3 weeks growth spurt. Not so much eating this time, just alot of sleeping.

jaki: woohoo how romantic. our anniversary is coming up on the 24th may, i doubt DH has planned anything don't know why i bothered marrying him when he doesn't do anything special for anniversaries

ferrals: sounds like Ellas nearly going to be sleeping through the night for you good luck!!

Arrrghh why does DH have to come home and start banging around while Chase is sleeping!!!! I will cut you!!!! LOL joking...a little bit hehehe. I feel kind of gross actually, I haven't had a shower yet all day

Well I shouldn't have worried, Chloe is back to her good old self. Been awake since 9.45am with a couple of cat naps. Me so sleepy!!! Go to sleep crazy child! Have tried feeding, bathing, cuddling, wrapping, walking, laying in my bed with her. I give up!!! She's laying naked on a towel on the lounge floor laughing at the tv lol. Cries every time I put any nappy or clothes on lol. Crazzeeee

    Well Hello Everyone.

bugger i just lost my train of thought while watching Paniyiri on Sunrise yummmm honey puffs. Oh yeah thats right lol

Hope you are well. I have been reading but cant be stuffed posting lol but since J is sleeping thought I give it a go but I cant remember all that was written.

Kitty - DH doesnt really get the whole aniversay thing either. Men just suck when it comes to that.

Tams - I am soooo sorry I didnt get back to you. THinks so tight after Jus op and Jay procedure that we are scraping by. Im hoping if its ok to get up there for at least a few hours on one of the days.

Well as soon as I write this I am sure to jinx it but the last 4 night J has sleep from 7-8pm - 6am WOW but then gets up has a bottle and then goes back to sleep for another hour.

Yesterday I was ready to give up. He screamed for the majoirity of the day,. I have no idea what his issue is. I took him to the GP as his testies are HUGE. She sent us for an ultrasound but he is pretty sure they are just Hydraceels (full of fluid) so Dr thought that might be his prob. She told me to just give him panadol or get this KNOW HIM OUT WITH FENERGAN!! What the? I stuck with the panadol. But man did I have a headache.

He has awoken from a slumber so I better go. Thank God for the swing I say xxx

Kylz-funny my doctor told me to give Ella phernergan when she had that rough few days after her needles and the box and the chemist said phernergan is not suitable for babies under 2yrs but when my boys were babies it was given without a worry i was surprised when i went to get it from the chemist that it is now not recomended.
What dose did your doctor tell you to give jayden i didnt give any to Ella i thought i would wait and see how she went.

I must be lucky in the DH department he never forgets an anniversary or BDay or mothers day i always get a surprise he even just does things for no reason he brought me home a beautiful timber photo frame with a huge blown up newborn picture of Ella in it. It looks professionly done and yesterday he brought me home one single red rose and i said what is that for and he said cant i buy my gorgeous girl i rose cause i love her he is such a sweety and after 4 years he has not wavered one bit.

She said to say its for yourself cause they wont give to baby and ask for the liquid. Said to give 2.5ml she wrote it on my hand lol. She also told me baby vix is fine and to put on feet and chest before bed.

Kylz-Well obviously our doctors think it is still ok to use in babies i googled it and the only thing i found that in some babies it can sedate them so much that it effects their breathing but if you only give a tiny dose then i would assume it would be fine like i said i gave it to my boys when sick to help them sleep and my doctor told me to give to my DS2 when we went on a 14 hour bus trip he was only 10-14 weeks old at the time i cant remember exactly.
Anyhoo i am a bit chicken to use it even though i have a angelcare monitor now that i have read what it can do to some babies i wont use it unless absolutely nessersary.

Phenergan has the opposite effect on ella, makes her so hyper and she won't sleep!

Hi everyone, have been reading but this is the first chance I've had to actually post.

Thanks for all your support - still don't know what I'd do without you wonderful ladies

Someone (Was it Tams or Mel? I forget who) asked if I quit smoking while preg - I went cold turkey around 9 weeks, then had 1 when I had that big bleed at 13wks and thought it was all over, then didn't have another one until around 26-27wks when the crud hit the fan with my family and the stress got to me, then didn't have another until Koby lost Hayley and I lost the plot for a few days and really couldn't cope, then didn't have another one until DS started playing up something chronic when Elise was 3-4wks old.
I've started cutting down again, but it has been hard with all the stress about the operation and all that.

To those whose bub's are sleeping through - YAY!!! Elise has been sleeping through every night at 4wks but had been sleeping through every 2nd-4th night prior to that, not much different to DS who started sleeping though at 3wks.

re: Growth Spurts - Elise seems to be a week behind in hers... She didn't go through her first growth spurt until 4-5wks, and I think she's started going through her second now that she's 7wks.

Ferrals - You've got a great hubby! Hubby and I both forgot our 3yr anniversary of being together in Nov last year AND our 1st wedding anniversary in Jan this year lol neither of us remembered until about 11pm at night on the day lol I did remember to get a card for hubby beforehand but forgot to write in it and give it to him whoops!

afm - Elise has been really sleepy most days this week, got me a bit worried on wednesday as she only had 4 feeds for the day and then proceeded to keep chucking up until she was only bringing up clear watery stuff

DS had a bout of gastro on sat night/sun/mon, so he wasn't a happy little boy Now I've got it too... either that or I've given myself food poisoning from a piece of steak that was 2 days before it's use by date. Feeling really crummy at the moment. Cold chills and hot sweats are driving me bonkers!

Add AF into the mix and I'm not a happy person today. The p/p bleeding finally stopped around lunch time on friday, hubby and I DTD on monday & tuesday mornings (OMG I missed having a sex drive!) and then tuesday night I started spotting, thought huby had hit something so justpopped a pad on and didn't think much of it, but next morning it was heavier and it's just been getting heavier since. And it hurts! OMG the cramps are horrible! I hate the Witch!!!

At least DS has been mostly well behaved today, makes things easier when I'm not feeling very well.

Elise is smiling all the time now - not very often when she's sitting up, but almost always when she's lying down. I just haveto say hello to her and she breaks out in a huge smile And she's discovered her hands lol a bit earlier she was trying
to shove both of them in her mouth at the same time and trying to smile at me while she did it lol I'm so in love with her. We even managed 2 5-min breastfeeds last night. Score 1 for me!

She's currently having some floor time in front of the heater and is loving it! Smiling at me every time I talk to her and staring at me when I'm not talking to her lol she's a real mummy's girl today - wednesday night we had her in bed with us for a little bit and she refused to look at me, it was all eyes on daddy and all her smiles were reserved for him, it was so sweet.

I have also decided that I want more kids lol not right away, but in 3-5 years time I'd like to start trying for another, but hubby still doesn't want any more. He keeps on bringing up the financial side of things as a reason not to have more kids. P's me off a bit.

I still don't know when my surgery will be I just want these teeth out already, at least I'm not on the heavy painkillers anymore, only had 2 panadol so far today and they came right back up this morning along with the antibiotic not long after I took them, so it's really like I haven't had any at all today lol it's nice to not have all that horrible pain, it's just a ull throbbing and ache in my skull at the moment.

I've forgotten what else I was going to say... DS hasn't gone to sleep and is playing with his bedroom light switch so I'd better go and tend to that. Will tgry to get on again and post soon!

    Have a great weekend ladies!

Ella has discovered her hands also she has been sucking on them when laying in her bassinette or pram and when having tummy time she is so content when they are in her mouth lol.
And the smiles she is full of smiles and gives us all huge smiles whenever we talk to her she loves watching her brothers in the morning get ready for school and goo's and garr's at them it is so cute.
I love talking to her and watching her trying so hard to move her mouth to make noises it is like she is trying to copy my mouth movements OMG! they are growing so quick i have 9 weeks before i go back to work and i am starting to not want to go back i want to be with her all the time.
Anyway i better go have some houswork to do before bed, Ella went to sleep at 7 so i expect her to wake about 2am then 7am i am hopeing she drops the 2am feed soon then she will go all night her brothers were such good heavy sleepers by 3 weeks Ella seems to be a light sleeper and a little piggy loves her bottles.

Wyatt is starting to use his hands too. And has discovered he can move about by kicking off his ankles. I put him down and when I come back he is somewhere different!

DH cracks me up... I said this morning I need a boob job cause now my milk has settled I have to prop it up with a face washer to feed. I said to him it's still not cutting it I'll have to use a towel soon and he says, would you like me to organise some scaffolding! Lovely! Lol

    Jaki your DH is funny.

I wish i could have BF but on the positive side after 5 pregnancies and 4 kidlets my little B cup boobs are still nice and perky and in the same place although a nice full c cup wouldnt be to bad either.

Ella slept 8 hours last night from 6:30 to 1:30 and then woke at 7am now if i could get that 8 hours from 9:30 to 5:30 that would be perfect.

A loves her hands to, she was on the couch lastnight, wayching them, and each time she moved them close to her face she would jump, was like she thought they were going to hit her! she also is discovering toys, in her rocker she will smile and hit the hanging toys about!

the kids have been going to bed the same time most nights now, so she is getting tummy time and loves just lying on the floor or couch and having her "me time" with no interuptions and being smotherd by the other 3!

we have had 2 weeks were she loves the bath, even giggles now! i have to use the big bath and have it deep enough so i hold her head above water and her feet cant touch the bottom and she happily floats about kicking arround, she loves it, gets all smiley when the waters running and im stripping her off, only took 2 months of fear!
