Yeah but if you cant dtd Jak shouldn't it be a priority you are looked at? I had the fourth degree tearing and had to have weekly appointments. I hope you can get that sorted, it can effect you emotionally too. Hugs darlin. You guys really need a good woman's clinic up there!! You will be down here in a month? Maybe you could see a gyno then? Or your ob? xx

You seriously CRACK ME UP!!! We did try lube. She reckons i need to give it more time for the hormones to settle, and that BFing can effect it too. We shall see!

Jenna try not to be too upset about the pump n dumping... i think it amazing that you are keeping up your supply through this tough time... its exhausting!

Omg jak that is so slack of her!!
Ferrals that is so interesting about the monitor being affected by the gate, good thing you discovered it when you did!
Not sure when I will start c on solids, have always said I wouldn't start before 6 months but we will see lol. Ella I didn't start til 7 months but she's a whole different story lol.
Jenna you poor thing, that sounds horrible! Hope you get the surgery soon, and you should be so proud, good on you for keeping your supply up, when it would be so easy to stop right now. Make sure you are looking after yourself too.
Hmmm forgot what else I was going to say, stupid phone!

Taken from WHO website... Nothing noted on the website to say they are revising this guideline in regards to solid introduction. FWIW when MJ was a baby, someone told me that WHO were going to change the guidelines then, that was 3 years ago...
    Each to their own though

I look at this but it seems more of an article from 2007.Do you know were the guidelines are? Hard site to navigate and the search function is useless... Btw did you use your frame yet Sam? The finger prints and hands were just done the other day... lol.

Either way, I am going off Kolton. By the time he reaches one.. they will most likely change it back. Zo eats everything and has no allergies but then again i was not every going to give her a million choices either. : )

Health nurse today. E is 5kg (5.11kg naked after a feed on digital scales) and 58.5cm.

Currently neither are napping so I'm tucked up in bed watching a DVD with J while I feed E.

House is a mess, there's no food in the house, no idea what's for dinner, I'm annoyed at J for not napping, I'm tired and who the heck is going to clean my house?

scone: wooo go E, nice weight gain. Last friday buck naked Chase was 5.7kg, my little man. Maybe tell your DH that its mother's day off???

LMP: I think I'm going to do the same and just see when Chase tells me he is ready. Though I can't imagine he'll be starting solids any time soon going off those signs of readiness LOL though he does seem interested when we sit him at the table in his high chair with us when we eat. He thinks its funny when we chew.

jaki: no chance of another dr??? That's bull that the dr doesn't think something is wrong when you can't have sex.

ergh got a headache, wish i could nap but Chase has a blocked nose. not runny, just blocked and doesn't sleep longer than 1-2 hours day and night. I feel like im starting to get a twitch in my eye LOL

Hi guys, I'm still alive... JUST.

This is going to be a me post, so sorry in advance

    I'm feeling like ****, literally.
Prior to wednesday I had been taking the maximum recommended amount of panadol for just over 2 weeks as I was in that much pain in my jaw, ears and head, basicaly had what felt like a constant migraine the entire time. Wednesday after my GTT (which went well, don't know the results yet though) and my 6wk checkup (waste of time with that GP, all she did was check my temp and BP), it got worse so I bought mersyndol, I was that desperate!
Was taking the maximum amount of mersyndol on friday, and it was still getting worse, 1am saturday morning I woke up in agony, called the ambulance, they couldn't do anything and I was reluctant to go to hospital because the only pain relief they could give me while expressing was nurofen, sucks big time The Ambo's (they were so lovely and so helpful!) told me to call the royal melbourne dental hospital, so at 9am on saturday after maybe 3 hours of broken sleep I called the Dental Hospital and told them I was coming up. We dropped the kids off at my stepmums, drove up to Pakenham, caught the train to dandenong and then had to get the bus from there to oakleigh (stupid work was being done on the lines, it was supposed to be an express bus but took an hour to get to friggin oakleigh!), finally got to Flinders St Station at 1pm, made it to the dental hospital at 1:30, didn't get seen until around 4ish. They x-rayed my right wisdom tooth, there's a huge cavity the size of a pea in it. They have a brief ook at the left wisdom tooth - it's just a shell with the center scooped out, but not causing as much pain as the right one.
They get rid of the worst areas in the right wisdom tooth, examine the x-ray and tell me that the root is going right through the bone and is touching the damn nerve canal! They could either extract it and the other one (apparently if one is right on the nerve canal then the other most likely is too) then and there and I could loose feeling in half my face for either 3-6 months or it could leave me with permanent nerve damage resulting in not being able to feel a thing for the rest of my life OR I could see a specialist and have a full mouth x-ray and have surgery to remove the wisdom teeth...

I opted for seeing the specialist and surgery, no way and I going to risk NOT being able to taste anything EVER AGAIN! Stuff that.

Anyway, they put a temporary cap on the right wisdom tooth as it was hurting the most, and left the other one alone as they couldn't do anything to it, the cavity is just too big... And it was all caused by being pregnant with Elise, typical!

Anyway, took a bit for the pain to subside once the local anaesthetic had worn off, and I felt really good and was back to only having 3 mersyndol and 4 panadol a day until last night when it flared up again, this time on the left side, took 3 mersyndol and 2 panadol in less than 2 hours and it did nothing for the pain.
Called the ambo's (lovely people yet again, one of them had come out when I'd had one of the mini panic attacks I've been having since Elise was born, so it was nice to see a familiar face), went to hospital at 1:30am this morning, had to wait almost 2 hours just to be seen and I was shaking so much and bawling my eyes out, doctor saw me asked what the pain was out of 10, I said 8/10 when it's waning, 11-12/10 when it flares and feels worse than labour! He gave Panadeine Forte, made me wait for it to start working, asked me again what the pain was like, I said 6/10 when it's waning, 8/10 when it flares, he made me wait a bit longer for it to work a bit more, I dozed off because I was exhausted, doctor woke me up and said good, you're not in pain anymore you can go home. Didn't even ask if I was still in pain, just assumed that I wasn't because I had fallen askeep.
Had to take another 2 panadeine as soon as I got home at 4:30am this morning, slept until 8 when DS woke up, took another panadeine and 2 panadol, and it was managable, have had to take another 2 panadeine a short time ago, and I'm feeling horribly guilty and upset because I'm still expressing and everything I'm expressing is being tipped down the sink because of al the painkillers I'm taking I hate it that I have to put Elise on full formula feeds now, it's killing me inside, and I keep on crying every time I think about it.
I'm still waiting for the specialist to call, was hoping that they'd call today to arrange the appointment, it's driving me crazy, I just want to be without pain and to be able to feed my baby girl with my own milk. Tomorrow is hubby's last day off work for the next fortnight, after that I don't know what I'll do. I can barely cope with DS at the moment with all the pain that I'm in, and he doesn't understand that I'm in so much pain and can't pay as much attention to him as he wants and he doesn't understand why I have such a short temper with him either

Sorry for the me post, I just needed to get it off my chest, I'm feeling so down and tired and so over it all. I'm terrified of having surgery, but I'm more afraid of having to keep on taking so many strong painkillers and doing damage to my liver and having to stop expressing completely and let my milk dry up.

Hope the rest of you are doing ok.

Hey ladies very quiet in here.

Jaki-Yah! for squirting lol sounds strange but hey if your excited over it then so am i.

Well what a strange few days i have had with Ella monday night she had a bottle at 5:30 went to bed and slept until 1am but then only had 60mls of her bottle and went back to sleep until 6am which i thought was great until she again would not have more than 60mls she stayed awake until 10am where i tried again to give her a bottle but she didnt want a bar of it so i put her to bed she slept until 1:30pm and had only 60mls again she stayed awake for 2 hours then went back to sleep until 3:30 and still didnt want a bottle i tried and tried but nup not a drop so then she went back to sleep at 4:30 and slept and slept i was getting worried as she had only had 180mls in 24 hours and her nappies were not real wet so by 8:30 i went and woke her up to try to give her a bottle she had 180mls so i thought great she is drinking again but when i was burping her she fell asleep on my shoulder so i put her back to bed she has never slept so much usually she has some play time.
Anyway 12 midnight came and she was awake had only 60mls again 3am and she was awake again didnt want a bottle so she went back to sleep then 4am and 5am she was up whingeing and sounding really uncomfortable so i got her out of bed and noticed she had vomited clear fluid on her sheets so i got her up changed her bed and tried a bottle where she finally had 180mls again i am a little concerned as she is still asleep now she is not having anywhere near the amount of formula she usually has.
Today is wednesday and she has only had 600mls since monday night that is only 3 bottles in total where she normally has 5 bottles a day.

hi ladies, hope all of you and all the littlies are going good.

took Allyssa to our old nurse yesterday, she has put on all up 90gm in 2 weeks, so 70 this past week and 30 the one befor. while she didnt get into a frantic over it, she did explain how it is the bare minimum they can accept. while she isnt going great with weight she has grown 2.5cm in length, so it looks like most of the weight is actualy her hight.
She helped explain to me the best way to do both ff & bf, but has a feeling that as i wasnt able to feed the others and gave up arround the 3 month mark, that my body might automaticaly cut the supply then out of habbit.
she recomended i give her 2x60ml top ups in the morning and arvo, then stick with the 60-120ml she has been having befor bed, go back in 2 weeks and see howe much she has put on then, also try to express as much as i can (this will be fun as ive only ever sussefuly done it once) and we will go from there.
it was good to have someone actualy explain the reasons behind it and not just go off charging like a bull! she also showed me Allyssa's weight/hight mesurements on the adverage chart and the who one, (thanks to you ladies i already knew what that was! lol) her height and head measurements are prety spot on, her weight was at the start, but started to drop down the last month and has continued down, not up.

sorry for no persies, lots of cleaning to do, and ds2 has decided to chuck the bigest tanties yesterday, and contiuing them today, oh fun!
