Sal - Of course we want your updates!!! Nice to hear from you again. Good to hear that Lachlan is doing well. I agree with you..... how quickly has the time gone?!
Lou - one of the girls in my mums group uses an olive oil based cream that you can get from the chemist. She swears by it. I'll get the name of it today. Excema is just horrid. Had that with DS1 (he also ended up with childhood asthma - which he's since grown out of - apparantly theres a connection)
LJ - one word..... NO!!! No you cannot continue to look after your SILs kids. I know how tiring it can be when we have DHs kids over for the weekend. They are 15 and 12 yrs and for the most part self sufficient. I love them to bits but still extra kids in the house is extra tiring at the best of times. I think it's just the having extra people in the house. Tell her your doc said you need to stop for a bit - particularly the overnight visits. Your priority is your immediate family and yourself.
Jandals - Robert goes to bed by 7 (usually just before) then I give him a dream feed between 9 and 10 and then he's awake between 2 and 3 for another quick feed then it's back down until 530.
Polly - We've only just gone back to this pattern (see above). For a few weeks Robert regressed to waking up 2-3 hourly throughout the night. It was just a developmental thing, it just happens. Once I accepted that it seemed easier and I went with the flow and "fingers crossed" we are out the otherside and progressing to a better sleep routine. I can handle only getting up once!
Going to go wash and blow dry my hair while bubs is asleep....... ah the little luxuries we look forward to!!
