Hi ladies,

Our third baby, Arlia Feyt, was born on March 26th at 3.15am after a very quick 1 hour 45 minute labour, and three pushes. All stages of the birth were completely natural and I delivered her myself which was amazing. She weighed 3.655kg, was 49cm long and had a head circumference of 36cm.

We spent one night in hospital so that the paediatrician could come and give Arlia a check up the next day and he confirmed that she's absolutely perfect.

It was lovely coming home to my other two babies and they absolutely adore their new baby sister. They want to kiss her all the time and it's so cute!

Breastfeeding is going fantastic once again. I must admit that I am super lucky in the breastfeeding department. I've always had a good supply and no feeding issues and certainly feel for others who have issues with breastfeeding. I remind myself to never take it for granted. I'm now triandem feeding as both my 2yr11mth old and my 14 month old are still breastfeeding as well. My son loves all the new milk there and tells me it "tastes like marshmallows", lol, and my daughter gets a little upset when I put Arlia to the breast instead of her, so there's been some tandem feeding at the same time to avoid little tanties, hehe.

Arlia had a weight check today (1w1d old) and is up 85g from her birth weight. She's a fantastic sleeper like her sister (not like her brother was, lol). She tends to cluster feed while she is awake, then sleep for long blocks (up to 5 hours at a time). She's feeding maybe twice overnight, but I'm not keeping tabs. She's able to feed with me laying on my side so I tend to sleep while she's feeding and just slide her back into her cot (which is like a side-car on my side of the bed) once I wake up and notice she's done and back asleep. Her last feed during the early hours of the morning generally ends with me keeping her next to me for snuggles ♥

While she's doing perfecly, unfortunately my pelvic instability hasactually worsened over the last 4-5 days. To the point that yesterday I had trouble standing and walking. I spoke to my Ob's midwife and she basically said that it could be 4-6 weeks before my hormones settle and Icna get back to normal activity, and that ideally I would be on bed rest. She used the word "ideally" as she knows Ihave two other kids so it's certainly not a reality to be able to be on bed rest. So whenever possible she said to sit instead of stand, and to lay down instead of sit when able. She mentioned if it gets worse I may need crutches, but that would be totally impossible with three kids!

My Mum came over yesterday and has taken my son for his first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's house. I was so nervous, and I miss him terribly. As they were driving out of the driveway I was smiling and waving at him with tears pouring down my face. I didn't want him to know I was upset though, so I just kept on smiling. Mum sent me an sms as soon as they got to her place, and kept me updated through the night. He's been an absolute angel and is having a ball. He only got upset about the bed and refused to go into the bed. He insisted on being on the couch, which is funny because he's never slept on a couch before. He fell asleep there and then they transferred him to the bed and he slept peacefully through the night and woke at 7.30 this morning. They are going to the local swimming pool today which has a huge kids play area.

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your little bundles!
