Jleigh - I will just be doing relief work at Tiana's centre cause I am doing the bridging course from primary to early childhood. Am doing it externally so have flexibility :) That's good about Bos and sleeping - Phoebe doesn't sleep anywhere near that well. I am up to her anywhere from 2-5 times a night. She wont drink milk - throws the cup on the ground, spits the milk out and kicks it. I have tried cows, toddler formula, powdered, A2, warm, cold etc.
Marni - That is fantastic news about P, at least you now have a final end date, she will bounce back just fine in time for T's birthday. A friend of ours 3.5 year old had his tonsils and adenoids out a couple of months back, was only in hospital overnight and we saw him two days after he had it and you would never know.....he was even eating doritos lol
I love love love my plantation shutters, have convinced DH to get them through the rest of the house. A's room and the spare bedroom are next on the list once I do my tax - now we just need to win lotto to day everything else we need - will put pics on FB soon
Jleigh - sorry have no advice on the clingyness & seperation anxiety I have the opposite problem. She does have her moments but I know she is either tired or not feeling well, she's happy to potter about the house doing her own thing but does come and check to see I'm still around.
Weaning - think A is gonna hang off my b**bs until she goes to school at this rate, she drinks milk but only about 50ml out of a sippy cup and then it's more a game than replacing her feed before she has her sleeps.
Might have to go cold turkey for a couple of days on her day nap which is one I really want to break, so I can put her into FDC her morning and before bed at night don't really faze me too much at the moment and figure if I've got to replace them with a bottle it's not real difference ATM if that makes sense Ask me again in a couple of months and it may be completely different lol
We are off to the zoo this afternoon again with one of the mums & bubs from mothers group - making the most of our membership and the gorgeous weather here today (might be off to target to get a "backpack")
PS - forgot to add, I LOVE this age too wish there was a pause button, small enough to be my little baby but big enough & interactive enough to have a tonne of fun with.
WOO HOO A just went down for her nap without a BF :dance:
I offered her milk and she had about two sips, then didn't want anymore so I just put her in her cot - she let out about 2 or 3 cries, which she sometimes does with a BF anyway and now sound asleep :)
Now to just keep it up feel a little weird but if I can break the day feed will be a happy mummy

I found that once I broke that lunch time feed the morning one was easy cause they get sidetracked with breakfast and then I just had the night one which I was ablt o replace with some warmed milk...YAY
Well I got a little excited, it lasted for about 15mins before she went FERAL and so we have had no sleep today
She is currently sitting her the beanbag watching playschool and soon as that is finished it's dinner and bed!!
Well done Phoenix!! I found the daytime one easy to cut out and then you can go from there.
We are attempting to wean! Last night we had no milk :) She wasn't very happy about it but we made it through and she doesn't seem concerned now but I'm sure it will be a different story come bedtime tonight! Now I just have to go shower and express!
hi everyone well i know it has been a long time since i have been on here so much has happened since i was last on here and have just recently got the net back on i am not sure if you all remeber but i have May who is now 14 months old.
our 2 year old was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes 6 months ago and that has been a big learning curve for us all but we are getting there with it all that is half the reason i havent been around. alot of my time goes into that and we just needed time to get our heads around all of that stuff but now we are getting it all under control.
i will have to read back and try catch up abit what are everyones little ones up to at the moment?
may is walking now just took off a few weeks ago
she has 7 teeth at the minute but having a terrible time at the moment cutting another set of molars(not alot of sleep going on here at the moment)
how is everyones little ones sleeping?
anyway i have to run right now will pop back tommorrow sorry again for the sudden disapearence.
Hi Cap - of course you are remembered. Wow, diabetes - that would be a learnign curve!its difficult enough as an adult so I cant imagine all that is involved with an infant.
We have Zenith who is 14 1/2mths old. He is mostly walking but will still do his version of a crawl to get somewhere fast. He has his two front bottom teeth, four front top teeth and four molars - they came through in two weeks - 2 wks of hell!! lol

Cap - Welcome back. I can only imagine how hard it must be dealing with a little one with diabetes. We hav Elijah who is 14 and a half months also - he is currently teething with his molars - I think maybe 2 have cut thru the gum, so I completely understnad the lack of sleep :( He sleeps well most nights, but when he's teething, its been quite bad.
So we have had a very interesting week. I have 1 child with chicken pox, Elijah and Cooper were sick too but fortunately didn't get the chicken pox..which is strange because its highly contagious. Altho I'm pretty sure Cooper was immunized for it. Elijah had antibiotics, so that helped, but he is still teething, so its been rough...lol. My sister was just down for 4 days, 2 of those days were spent at dreamworld, which is good, but very tiring. So I took Jhye to dreamworld while he has chciken pox (but don't worry, he is past the contagious stage now) - his pox are scabby and going away now. He still can't go to school, so he has had 1 week so far, and it'll prolly be another week or so before he can go back, apparently they are going around the school, but its good to get the pox out of the way...I remember having it when I was younger. And apparently its worse for adults.
Ok well I am going to have a nap as I didn't sleep very well last night, not sure why but I am extremely tired today.
Marni - Good news that you're booked into the hospital too :D hopefully once its done it'll be the end of antibiotics :)
Hi Cap!! That must be so scary with your older daughter! I hope that you have all adapted well and it is just a part of your daily routine now. I had it while pregnant and couldn't imagine having it all the time. :(
Sleepy - That sucks about the chicken pox - but surprising that Elijah didn't get it? It is really contagious but I think the incubation period is about 2 weeks so it could still be coming.

Well we have had a crappy few days. I am weaning!! We are on day 3 with no milk now and she is not happy but we are getting there. We have lots of wake ups at night with 4 hours being the longest screaming time - I am hoping that it is only a few more days and she will move on. She still wont drink cows milk but I am just giving her other dairy to compensate.

Did you do a few feeds cold turkey or wean a feed at a time Marni? Zen still goes a bit ape at my chest if he happens to notice them but we've turned it into a game that he cant get mummies boobies lol...then I get him milk or something else and he is fine.
Phoebe slept through!!!!!! Except for a minute of grizzle at ten to five she didn't get up until just before six!!!! I really hope that this continues!!!
Tina - I went cold turkey. This baby wasn't giving it up any other way. :) She still wont drink milk but I replace with food and she is happy to drink water.

Sleepy - Chicken pox yuck, hope your guys are on the mend. I had it at 15 and it was pretty bad. The 18month needles are chickenpox and I'm kinda of in 2 minds whether to get it done or chance it her getting it naturally.

Well I've given up trying to wean the day nap feed until DH is home to help out settle her, I had a bit of a meltdown the other day and figure my sanity is worth more than a 5min BF. Apart from that she is doing ok, we have the 2 top molars through and 2 almost through at the bottom, plus a top eye tooth about to break through too BUT best of all she sleep through last night 7 till 7, though I had to get up at 4 and yell at the dog coz she was going mental at something lol.
Anyone have a child that loves going to bed at night?? By 7pm she is usually bathed and running around in her PJ's and not long after In the Night Garden Finishes and Hoot says good night she will come up to me or stand in middle of room and say ta ta or night night which means she's ready for bed and off we go.......just wish she'd stay asleep lol though she has been going 9-10hours so can't complain too much.
Phoenix - If you are ready to wean then I say wait til you have DH home to help and go cold turkey. We had 3 nights of hell and then it was all good. Come to think of it she hasn't even tried to pull my top down for a couple of days and we are now on day 9 so I think we are all good here! I didn't let her scream either, I just kept cuddling and would offer water (which she threw away) and rocking and talking and cuddling etc. Eventually she went to sleep! As for going to bed, she wants to but once we are in bed protests for a bit!
Phoebe has slept through 3 nights now! She woke once last night but we were out for dinner and she didn't get to bed til like 10 so was way out of routine. Hopefully she is back to sleeping tonight though.

sleeping - Zen generally sleeps 8-7 with a 5minute grizzle at about 12.30am, takes me no time at all to resettle so its pretty good!
weaning - Zen was on 3 feeds a day and I cut out the midday feed, replaced by milk and lunch, then 1week later cut out his morning feed, replaced by breakfast and the week after cut out the last feed which was a night feed. We needed to replace it with a bottle of milk but its been really easy for us!
Marni - good you have your appt, hopefully it can all get fixed up soon
AFM: Zen has done the most poohs in the last 2 days ever! it was 5 yesterday, 2 so far today. They are gross and runny. Not sure if he has an upset tummy or if its two bottom teeth. He didnt get poohs with any of his other teeth :/
went to a hens night saturday night, it was really obvious I havent drank in ages as I ended up incredibly sick! I was on water during the night and stuff like that but my belly was VERY cranky at me the next morning!

We are ok here, just for something different Phoebe has another ear infection!! (note the sarcasm!) Bring on Sept 19, I so hope the grommits help. Just in the last 5 days I have spent $60 in antibiotics - plus I have had to get nurofen and panadol. Yesterday she started breathing really heavy to, not struggling but it just seemed to be some effort. I hope it doesn't get any worse. As for me all my forms to begin study have been sent so I am just waiting for the course to get to me. I am excited but scared too, I haven't done study in years! Well I should start on washing, I have heaps and have to use the dryer so it is going to take forever!

Cap - Great to hear from you again. May sounds like she's doing well. Sorry to hear about your 2yo - how are you all handling it? A friend's son was diagnosed at age 11 and he's had a real tough time getting used to it. Four years later, he's a typical teen who doesn't manage himself at all well and just wants to do what everyone else is doing, so regularly has hypos etc. Hopefully it'll be second nature to your little one and she won't feel so hard done by.
Marni - Have you heard back about your study yet? When do you start? How's Phoebe? Only a few more weeks to go until you'll all hopefully get some relief! Work is going really well. B is fine without me while I am at work cos he has Mum, but not so good when we go out or there are other kids around. I couldn't even leave him for 5 mins to get a cuppa last week. He's a lot more independent at home now, just likes to keep me in his sights.
Tina - Were the poos due to teething do you think? Mucousy poos are apparently a common sign, and B often gets runny ones when he's teething. I had chicken pox at 21 too, btw! ;)
Phoenix - Any progress with the weaning?! B loves bed time, goes down really easily 99% of the time. He gets two bedtime stories, but some nights will walk to his bedroom door and point after the first book if he's tired! He waves and says 'nigh nigh' if I say it first too - pretty cute! ;)
Sleepy - Is everyone over their chicken pox? Had they been vaccinated? I've heard lots of people get it anyway, but I'll still vaccinate B as it usually means if they do get it, it'll be much milder.
AFM - B is teething (gee, when are they not?) so is grizzly, clingy, with a runny nose and a bit drooly too. His gums are really red top and bottom so we're expecting lots of eye teeth. He keeps pointing to his gums and pulling faces or grizzling, poor little dude. Sleep is still awesome though, so I can't complain. :D
Does anyone else's little person (what do you call them? I'm still in denial that he's a toddler, lol!) grab your hand and drag you around to 'show' you stuff? B does it constantly, only he usually doesn't have anything to actually show me!
Any more talking? B tries sometimes, and has learned some more sounds (t-ssss for cheese, ac for quack, mow for meow, mmmmm for moo and moon and a few others, plus he makes a drill sound thanks to DH's laundry reno!) but not much in the way of actual words.
Oh, I am an Auntie too, as of last week! :dance: I have a gorgeous little niece!
Do the Brissie/Coast girls want to do a day at Queens park Ipswich? The (yes, I am going to say it) TODDLERS can play in the park plus we can check out the free zoo there and we can take our own food so its really only a petrol cost involved.

Hi Everyone - Sorry I haven't been online much lately, been super busy.
So chicken pox - Complete nightmare adn do not wish that on anybody - especially a little 1 year old bubba :( I have had 4 weeks stuck at home and its driving me batty, but E is doing much better now, he still has the spots (be it faded and completely not infectious) and a few scabs, but in general, health wise he is doing better.
Tina - That sounds absolutely great - when the rain stops :) Just let me know when and I'll be there :D
E isn't really talking yet - he can say hello and dadda and mum, but still nothing else, sometimes I think I hear words, but prolly not lol. He gets into everything, loves running around the backyard and playing with his brothers, so he stays pretty busy..lol.
Well I will be back soon, have to go change E's bum lol.............
Tina - Ipswich is a bit far for a day trip so you can count me out. Hope you guys all have fun tho. I love Queens Park - will have to remember to take B there one day!

We filled up B's sandpit on the weekend but he's only been in it once so far (and loved, loved, loved it!). Hoping the weather stays ok this arvo and he can have a quick play when he wakes up. We are off for our first dentist's visit this arvo. :D I'm thinking it'll be pretty quick 'cos I doubt the dentist will even be able to get a look in his mouth! B is great at opening his mouth when we ask, but not at actually showing us inside, lol! I'm just hoping I don't need any fillings....

Sleepy - glad to hear E is finally getting over his chickenpox, I wasn't going to bother getting A vaxxed for chicken pox but I've now changed my mind.
Marni - poor P with her double ear infection, hope she's over it now and not long to go until her ENT appt. Hope they can get her booked in quickly to get her grommits done.
Jleigh - I hear you on the teething, just when molars (which took their sweet time) have finally broken through it looks like we have eye teeth starting to come through.
A big hello to Tina, Cap & Trish and everyone else.
Not too much going on here, we have day nap weaned. I had given up to save my own sanity while DH was at work but he's been looking after her while I've been working and last week I came home to a sleeping baby and we've pretty much gone from there. Sometimes she asks for "b**bies"and as cute as it is to hear her say it I say it, I just tell her no time for milk or into bed...she drinks her bit of milk and then goes down without too much fuss. The other morning she didn't even have her morning one but night feed will be around for a while longer I think, I enjoy that one and she's not going to give that up to easily :D
Talking - she doesn't stop!!!! Alot of it is jibberish but there are now quite a few understandable words and she seems to be coming out with more all the time - she says dink (drink), hot, yummy (for food), out (she gets told that often enough lol) and her all time favourite NO. The past couple of weeks her ability to make herself understood has improved so her high pitched squeeling tantrums have lessened, she'll now answer no to everything I point out or ask until I get to what she wants and she goes silent as she can't say yes lol.
oh and we had our first haircut yesterday, she looks way to grown up with a fringe :(
Phoenix - Awww, a fringe! That IS grown up! First haircut is on my to do list still....
The 'no' thing is pretty cute (for an outsider that is ;)), isn't it? One of the boys in mum's group is doing that, think it's driving his mum crazy!! :roll eyes: B doesn't seem to be saying as much as lots of the other kids, but he definitely understands more than a lot of them!! He also spends a heck of a lot of time pointing to things over and over so I'll say them so I'm thinking he's just listening and waiting. Poor DH is jealous that other people's babies are talking more than B!!! It's all competition with men, isn't it??
And well done with the day nap weaning!
We had to cancel our dentist appt as DH's car broke down and I had to drive to Brissy to get him! We're on for next Tues though....
What has everyone planned for Father's Day? We are supposed to be getting together with my family, not sure when or where though! DH is getting a (second hand) toddler bike seat for his bike so that he and B can ride together! Mind you, he hasn't touched his bike for over 4 years so it's covered in dust and dirt and has flat tyres and goodness knows what else wrong with it, lol!

How was your fathers day? We had a nice laid back one DH got brekkie of his choice cooked for him and also a yummy prawn dish I've been dying to try for dinner and a cheesecake of his choice - his favourite dessert which in 4 years I've never ever made for him before hahaha so he go to pick whatever one he wanted :) He also got a bottle of Wild Turkey Liqueur (sp?)
Marni - Not long to go now until the ENT appt, hope Miss P is seen to quickly and feeling better. My friends son is going in for grommits & tonsils tomorrow after going through what you have, not nice at all.
Jleigh - DH's get a bit like that don't they, who though kids could bring out such a competitive side lol
I'm embarrassed by how much she does say, it's not like I'm pushing her to talk she just copies things we say and then suprises us by using them.......apparently I was like that too but then my brother didn't utter a word until after he was 2, not even mum or dad - mum was so worried she took him to see a specialist about his hearing but the poor thing probably just never had a chance to get a word in lol.
We are officially day weaned - WOOHOO two weeks tomorrow and she doesn't even ask for it, in fact she gets excited when she sees me going to get the milk out the fridge. I could have her down to one feed a day at night but it's me keeping the morning feed going :redface: hearing her ask for b**bies is just too cute to give up just yet. After Bali I keep saying coz it will be my way of dealing with take off & landing as well as keeping her quiet for 5mins during the flight :D

we had a quiet fathers day at home. dd did a painting and i framed it haha.
shes talking lots too, but i talk all the time, and vocalise everything i do, so she has lots of practice.
went and saw my mums yesterday, and my mumL had a great time googooing with dd and reading books,its lovely to see since she missed out on us kids (my mums partnered when we were teens).
down to 1 sleep i the day, about to grow out of her size 1 sleep suits, so tall and skinny! dont want to spend a fortune on 2s so fingers crossed i pick up some second hand ones.

Trish - I wish B was a bit like your E with talking. If B copied everything I said, he'd be talking his little a$$ off, rofl! I think he's a listener, more like his Daddy. Wait, Daddy has selective deafness that all males seem to.... maybe B has that too??!!! Are you tall? B is about 5cm shorter than all his playmates, so still fitting into size 0's here (though just, glad we'll be in summer gear soon!). I notice you're tic #2 - how long have you been trying for???!!

We are on cycle 5, but I think AF is on her way. I have hormonal issues so next cycle Im going to get some treatment (im not ovulating)
E talks a lot, pointed out my best friend in a photo today and said 'aunty' we spend heaps of time reading and looking at photos.
Today we danced the hokey pokey a million times, its so cute, she cant get the hang of foot in/foot out, and ends up halfway across the room haha!

Sorry I have been MIA, have had a hectic few weeks/months lately. We are currently going thru a family crisis, as DH and I have recently seperated.
It has been quite stressful, but I think it was the right decision.....
So E has been getting into quite alot of things, always busy, and climbing onto everything.....he isn't talking yet, altho he does say little words I think...lol - like he can say 'see' and he rambles on in his baby talk.....
He is still sleeping properly, altho we are in Gladstone at the moment, and not in his bed, so he has been quite unsettled, but I'm sure once we get back home he will be ok.....he may be teething again also, as he is dribbling quite a bit.....
How is everyone else going with their toddlers now? Any of them talking yet? Or at least saying words? lol
Ok well I better go, just thought I would catch up and say a quick hi to everyone.....
Oh, Sleepy :hug::hug: for you. That's huge news - I can only imagine how huge it must be for you and your LO's. How are you coping? Are you with family in Gladstone?
B sounds about the same as E, saying the odd thing but mostly only stuff we can understand, iykwim. He sometimes tries to copy words, like this morning in the car we saw a tractor and he tried to say it after me. His receptive language (understanding) is absolutely amazing though - he gets everything! We were eating lunch the other day and heard a truck reversing so I told him what it was (the truck is going backwards and it's making a beep beep noise). Then yesterday my Mum said the word 'backwards' and B starts walking backwards going 'beep beep'! I told him in the arvo I'm proud of him when he's a good helper and he reaches down and points to his shirt cos it said 'Daddy's Little Helper' (which I told him once when we put his shirt on!). That stuff is just amazing to me! :o
We are still waiting for his latest tooth to pop through - it looks like a blister atm and is all red at the front so we might finally see some action after three months of it moving around in there! B had awful nappy rash which took all the skin off last week - the chemist gave me a great cream, zinc plus an anti-fungal, which worked really quickly.
Swimming lessons start again this week for us - the weather better be nice and warm or I won't be happy!! :shake head:

Sleepy - How stressful and big big big hugs to you, hope you are enjoying your time up in Gladstone with your family. Separation is stress at any time and I would imagine even more so with littlies involved.

As for what's happening down here...not much really, we are slowly trying to get backyard finished off to at least a level we can let A out a bit more, we are just lucky we didn't dig up the original grass when we demolished so she does have something she can play on and somewhere for her swing. She loves being outside chasing the dog and basically getting into mischief :)
I weighed her the other day on our bathroom scales and she weighed in at 10.4kgs fully dressed in onsie and cloth nappy so figuring she's probably about 10.2kg in the buff, not sure how tallshe is but I do know she won't be able to walk underneath the dining tabe too much longer without banging her head and still comfortable in size 0 pants.
She's a real little clown and a chatterbox, coming out with new words all the time - there are alot of understandable words and words used in context but for the amount she talks mostly it's jibberish but non stop jibberish, typical female hahaha
this is such a lovely age!

we are visiting the in laws and as usual miss E ends up running around saying "NO!" as thats all she hears from nana.
i completly forgot about this site lol, but im here now, i thought scarlet was behind due to not saying alot, but maybe its normal, she says whale, and no, and yes, and dad, mum, tasha, cheeky (but comes out weirdly),car , hello, hi and seeya has said cheeseburger once and also stinky lol, and babbles alot, i got worried cause hayley was talkig so well by age 2 she was having adult convos, but i guess scarlet still got 7 months to catch up lol, im thinking about changing scarlet into a new kindy next week, as i dont think she likes her current one here, wish there was more mums with more feedback on kindys in this area lol
scarlet understands everuthing we say, we say go shut that she does, or put this in the bin she does, or go get the duck, ball etc etc, or brush your teeth she gets the toothpaste and brush, and brushing hair, she understand it all but doesnt say much of it. i think she is bit ocd she has to make sure doors are shut and things like that like troy does lol
Sleepy - I hope you are all doing ok and the boys aren't being difficult for you! I must say, I like your tattoo!!
Phoenix - Love the jibberish! It's very cute to listen too. Hope that your backyard is done soon, Phoebe love to be outside so no yard wouldnt be good here.

Traylee - Phoebe doesn't say a lot, I don't think we have to worry yet though.
Well Phoebe's op went well, she is recovered now and we just have to see the surgeon on Wednesday for a follow up appt. She is a busy girl - always on the go. She is also in her toddler bed which she loves and is going well in it, except she is getting up earlier. I don't like it! Really not a morning person.

Thanks Marni - It didnt even hurt :) I sat in the tattoo chair, and it kinda felt like scratching, but that was it...lol. I designed that tattoo myself, from a necklace, and added the music notes on the side to make it a lower back tattoo..I am glad to hear Phoebe is doing much better too.
We are coping here, got back from Gladstone yesterday, and did it with one pee break...lol, so its good to be home. The kids are ok, I think Elijah and Cooper are finding it hard at times, as they both become quite whingy and sooky, but in general they seem not too bad. They feel much better being in their own home tho. We are still trying to figure out how to work things, and get into a routine, but its hard when John is now living with his parents, and their house isn't baby proof....and his mother is sick.....but I am trying to get him to take them when he can so they can see him when they want to, and give me a break - which is weird not having any kids around at times....
Phoenix - Isn't it cute to see how much our lo's love being outside?! As soon as we say that word, B is off! Hope the rest of the yard gets finished soon... I don't think B has hit the 10kg mark yet :)
Trish - All those 'no's' would drive me insane! What does nana think?? I find my MIL is oblivious to how her behaviour affects B - he goes to pieces if someone says 'no' too sternly or shrieks at him, but she doesn't seem to make the connection that it's her!
Traylee - Hi! Because B isn't talking much, I did a bit of research. Saying about 5 words is average at 18 months (and that includes words that aren't pronounced right, as long as we know what they mean!). It's their understanding that's the big thing. My toddler book says about 75% of 18 month olds can point to 1 body part when asked, or follow a one step command (Get ____, find your _____). B (and Scarlett) sound waaaay ahead of that! ;)
Marni - So glad P's op went well - have you noticed a difference in her? Work is still great but not sure what'll happen next year as I can't keep driving an hour each way so will have to find something closer (plus child care cos Mum won't mind B next year) or not work at all. Tell me about the toddler bed! Do you have to sit with P til she's asleep? Do you have a gate on the door? Does she wander out in the night if she wakes? How did you do it?!!!
Sleepy - Glad to hear you're back safely ;) Can John see the kids at your place and you go out for the day/arvo/evening rather than have them at IL's where it's not baby-proofed? It sounds like you're both being very mature/civil about things??? Still, it must be hard for you :hug:
AFM - I measured B's height the other day - 75cm, which is below the 3rd percentile in the red book. In other words, he's a shorty, lol! Haven't done his weight for ages tho...

But I get regular sermons on how the bible says that toddlers should be beaten for 'being naughty' Ummm, who in their right mind leaves medication and NEEDLES on a kitchen table, within reach of a toddler???? And then SHES naughty?
Anyways home now so much better, I need the break from the visit to calm down before the next one!
Trish - arrgghhh mothers you've gotta love them lol mine is forever lecturing me I don't feed her enough, she eats to much, she's not dressed warm enough......but then she is the one who will leave scissors lying around and has the most unchild friendly house.
Sleepy - another here with tattoo envy, it looks so good! I want another one, might wait till next bub & then get something to symbolise the kids plus I don't know where I want it. Hope you and the kids are coping with all the changes - any chance you guys might work things out?
Jleigh - don't think Alycia will be much taller than B, gotta get the tape measure out but she is a shorty lol - I don't mind makes her my little baby just that bit longer :) I went to the zoo other week with another mum & bub from mothers group who is exactly 1 week older than A. Lady at zoo asked how old the other little girl was and then said to me "oh and yours is a few months younger then" and I'm ummm nope only a week lol
Marni - great to here P is doing so well after her op and in a toddler bed! I'm putting off taking the sides off A's cot as I like the fact when I put her to bed she stays there hahahaha plus she shows no intersted in trying to climb out just yet.

ps - out of curiosity I just measured her and she comes in at 73.5cm - definately not going to be a basketballer hahaha
lol phoenix i think scarlet is only about 75cm ish, she was 73 at her 12 month check up, she wont be tall either, i think she is about 5cm behind what her bigger sister was at this age, but basically same weight
Trish - You do very well keeping it together!
Phoenix - MIL thinks DS doesn't eat enough either and if he doesn't want something, she'll push and push him to have it 'til he cracks it and won't eat anything else. Everyone else comments on what a good eater he is (quantity and variety).
Heights - I'm guessing girls are supposed to be shorter than boys, but not sure how much at this age. I'm sure the gap will widen as they get older. B was 73.5cam at his 12 month check up.
AFM - B is turning into a bit of a runner! We were visiting his Pa at the hospital on the weekend and DS just takes off. He did the same at the library this morning. Up until now he's always been within 2m of me, dragging me along if he wanted to go anywhere.
