Krystie definitely do NOT feel horrid. Boys on average take longer to become ready. You sound like you're doing all the right things. You've got him in jocks all the time haven't you? He's certainly progressing, just look at the accident rates between day 1 and day 3.

Personally, I'd give it 7 days and if the whizz is not under control, I'd let it be for a while. Are you using a sticker chart at all? We put stickers on the kids toilet seat itself. It kept the reward confined to the toilet where the good behaviour (for want of a better word) happened. I found the kids got confused if we took the stickers out to the kitchen etc.... it was harder for them to comprehend what they were being praised for.

DS was 3 years old before he was trained. He was just ready even though I was in no hurry to train him. These boys can be tricky little boogers and I find that it's harder for them to know that they are wet.

Good luck with it! I hope he picks it up today out of nowhere and surprises you. If not, there's plenty of time (I trained DS when DD was 7/8 months old - easier than having a newborn, but still with it's own difficulties).
