So happy to hear the news of Stirling's arrival, Vic. You 'sound' like you're in great spirits which is fantastic. Look forward to hearing the story.
Also, congrats to CJ on the TT. It sounds like she's really getting the picture. I was hoping that P would have made a start by now but she's either completely clueless or just likes to act that way :) I guess it'll come. Hopefully it won't make me so anxious the second time round.

Phoebe is way into singing at the moment. She's mad keen on Old McDonald Had a Farm, the Scarecrow song and anything from the Justine Clarke album we've got (Songs to Make You Smile... and they do!).
Nat had the vommies this morning. And here I was thinking we'd been having a good year in regards to steering clear of tummy bugs.

Also for those of you who have boys, any tips on how to avoid getting sprays of wee covering his clothes every nappy change?? Have already learnt need to "dress him down" when putting nappy on to avoid wee out the waistband, but so far seem to manage to get his clothes wet every change as he gives a spray nearly every change.

i used to put a nappy over it like a flat that worked sometimes but it does stop when they arent so cold and used to the change when u take the nappy off cant remember when that was i used to put a flat under aswell

Re the 'fountain' you just need to be speedy :) Perhaps even slide the clean nappy under his bum while the dirty one is still on so you can do a quick exchange?

Bailey only sprayed us a few times, I just learnt to cover his willy with the nappy between wipes :D

About to have MCHN visit last time that caused a lot of tears! But I remember how much reassurance I got from you guys - so thanks once again for all the support have had. So far I am only one in my new babies born group!

how are you all?

life here is interesting - E has decided to toilet train - which is fantastic, but i am sick of putting undies on and taking them off her lol

i have to have a d&c in about 8 weeks - some dodgy results on endometrial biopsy. not looking forward to it - seem to feel totally flat all the time

its good here just plodding along with my little boy (feels weird not to say toddler) and little baby (but growing too fast) both still happy in nappies (i love my fluffy bums) but Jamie is showing interest in the toilet and other things but hes still nowhere near ready probably when it gets a bit warmer and i can lock him outside ha ha
he can pull his pants down and up and take his nappy off the other day i took his nappy off and he pulled his pants up when i went to grab a nappy i turned around and he ws gone forgot about him coz the baby wanted me about 10 mins later he came to me going wet wet and i said why are u wet u have a nappy on (oh wait ooooopss) lol he likes not having a nappy on though so im hoping waiting a little longer it will be easier i know a few kids that TTed at 18 months and others like my niece who have only just got into it at 3 and a half

All going well here, good luck with the toilet training BG, we have good days and not so good days but overall is still going well. We have wood floors mostly so wiping up wee is no big deal, and poos she tends to do better at telling us and using potty or seat on toilet. But I do find wiping her bum after a poo a challenge, just because access much easier if she is lying down - that is something I had not thought of with not using nappies. Sometimes it hardly needs wiping which is good, particularly as she likes to have a go herself!


CJ is a real bossy boots at the moment, telling us all where to sit all the time, and if my mum says something to her she dislikes she says "grandma get back in the kitchen!". The other morning she also told us that she didn't want Stilrling anymore because we had told her not to pat him on the head, but by the afternoon she said she loved him again.

LOL, personalities are so great at this age, hey? Phoebe cracks me up, even when she's cranky, cause she's so cute at expressing herself. She's started to say "it's NOT funny" because sometimes I'm not so great at hiding my mirth. Hopefully that doesn't scar her for life. She's not tremendously bossy because Natty can out-boss her to the stars and back so I think she's kind of given up on that front ;)
J, sounds like he is getting closer to ready if he's able to operate his pants! Nat was 3.5 before she got the hang of TT and even now we get occasional accidents, plus she is back in nappies for overnight over the winter as I just couldn't get sheets dry.
BG, sorry to hear about the biopsy results. Why the wait for the D&C? Hope your health improves soon mate - you really deserve a break.
Nay, I hope Bailz is doing much better. I will be happy if we never have to go to the hospital again, it was no awful. I feel for you having him in there and for so long.

Am booked to go to Brisvegas in less than 2 weeks! This will be my first trip solo: no man, no kids. I can't wait! DH has had man flu all week and OMG I am ready to die from the frustration! Grow UP. Anyway, I'm going to be hanging with my sister and cousin and going to Dreamworld for scaaaaaaaary rides!!! Woohoo!
I think, just quietly, I am going to miss my babies though ;)

BG - Hope the D&C goes well and you get some resolution.

All good here - but mum is still here so makes life much easier - if anyone has any must know tips for coping with two please let me know. Stirling is doing well although has baby spotty face pretty bad, and CJ loves him a bit too much"Me want to hold it all day long" is a favorite expression - she still sometimes gets confused and says he is her little sister too.

My back and neck are achey due to the muscle separation meaning can't use stomach muscles effectively - which is a pain but hopefully with the physio on the mend soon.

Another pooey nappy calling - I had forgotten how much newborns poo.

Vic, my separated tummy muscles are still no where near fixed. The separation still goes from my rib cage to about an inch below my belly button. At least it's not so noticeable without a huge baby bump. It used to look like a football was trying to exit my tummy lengthwise if I attempted to use my tummy muscles. I've pretty much given up hope of them repairing themselves anytime in the foreseeable future :/

I am very proud to announce that after a quite short and complication free birth, Santosha, birthed her beautiful baby boy at 6:45 tonight!! Name is TBA at this stage.



Congratulations wonderful lady! So so so proud of you!!! Enjoy your baby moon and I hope you DH and Ivy all enjoy their lovely baby snuggles!!!!!
