Hi Leesha and TT40 - I only found Jen's fb account after googling her name and there was some random link on fb asking for some details from a baby photographer? I thought that must be it. My husband has a really generic name and there are thousands on fb, so no point looking us up. If you pm me your details, I can see if I can find you guys on fb? Glad it wasn't just me that couldn't find it!

Hi lovely ladies. Sorry Ive been MIA again, I too am on FB more than I am on here because I get on Facebook and then run out of time because she wants a feed or what have you LOL!

I'm in a group called May Babes but it is private so someone would have to add you. Thats probably why no-one can find this other group, because its probably private. If we all inbox each other with our facebook names etc and add each other that might work

Mylee is going well - still sleeping great through the night, sometimes 9-10hours . Thanks for your advice re: the eczema - we went to a dermatologist today because its been terrible no matter what creams etc I put on but she said they dont know if its a full blown eczema until about 6months of age and if it is a certain type they can have it for a few years but if its not they may only have it for a year and grow out of it. also got some products to use which will hopefully be good.

Jen ~ I hope you start getting more sleep soon, the reflux makes it very difficult, poor bubba. Hope your partner can take the lil one off your hands now and then.

Glad to hear everyone is well though.

Take care and keep enjoying the parenting everyone! xo

Hi Loops - I just tried to send you a pm re: linking in with the May Mummies group on fb and your inbox is full (?)
I can't believe your little one is already sleeping through the night for 9-10 hours. How awesome is that?
Instead of dropping night feeds, Olivia is adding them. She's been waking every 3-4 hours for the last few nights And with all this feeding, I thought she was going really well and then find out at her weigh in last Fri that she's not put on enough weight. I also think she's started teething and she doesn't want to stay on the boob.
I'm hoping she does longer spells tonight!

Hey guys, my little man was born May 25th.
I used to come on BB heaps when my first baby was born, I've been absent for a year or so I think!
DS has also developed terrible eczema, head to toe, it's so angry and red. Went to GP today, he prescribed Advantin, which is strong, it's 0.1%. Normally I'm all organic, but the Moogoo just wasn't helping and I want to nip it in the bud. i have terrible eczema myself and it was so heartbreaking seeing him so scaly and red. Tonight is the first night I've applied the Advantin, I'm confident it'll be almost completely gone tomorrow.
He was only waking once or twice a night but since the eczema flare up it's just been non stop wakings. Looking forward to a good rest soon.
Anyone getting super excited about starting solids in a month or two?
I'm so much more excited about the milestones second time round. I think coz I'm more confident and relaxed. My firstborn (DD 2.5yo) was the worst sleeper and reflux as well so her first 6 months of life is just a blur of sleep deprivation.

    Hi Turtleschell,

Sorry to hear about the eczema, it sounds awful. I've got a DS 4.5 yr old, DS 3 yr old and we had DD on 4th May. We've just started solids in the last week or two and she's slowly getting used to it. Her older brothers love 'helping' to put the spoon in her mouth and some water. I try to quietly put her in the high chair without them noticing, but it never works, as they eventually see us and run over.
Our first born also had bad reflux and it was seriously one of the hardest times we had, babywise. I remember thinking how hard it was until we had DS2 and then thought, OMG,this is what it must be like for other parents, he didn't have reflux and was heaps easier.
Anyway, this little group has been pretty quiet on BB. Not sure if the others get notifications?

Eczema already looks so much better! He slept SO well with that cream on, only woke up once!
    How's Olivia's sleeps doing?
    What foods have you offered?
I plan to do baby led solids, I did it with DD and she's a fantastic eater now, will try anything, and never spills anything!

    Hi Turtleschell,
How's your little one going with the eczema? Have you started solids yet? It took a little while, but Olivia's now eating pumpkin/carrot mush, baby rice cereal and a few other things. Sleeps are improving. She's done a few 8 or 9 hr stretches overnight this week

I've got to get the highchair out of the shed and give it a good scrubbing before i think about solids!
Got some Advantin 0.01% cortisone, strong stuff prescribed by my GP to clear it up, and then Sigmacort (a mild cortisone) to touch up when it reappears. he basically always has patches of eczema, despite these creams.
When DD was this age she had it badly on the back of her shoulders, but I just used Moogoo and it ended up clearing up. DS has it everywhere and it just doesn't seem to completely disappear, and gives him a lot of discomfort.
Had some horrible teething, many night wakings. Now I'm wrapping him in a flat sheet, using a dummy and still allowing him 2 breastfeeds every night. He wakes really early in the morning and it's quite torturous, but I'm sure once this teething phase is through we'll be all good again. All the giggles and cuddles make up for it.
