Awwww Telly Yes it is completely normal for bones to be in the salmon - they're actually really good for you. But I hate them myself, so I buy the tins that are skinless and boneless. They are more expensive, but then I don't have to worry about it
And I don't know anyone who is housewife of the year, so please don't try again, or else I might feel like less of a woman.. LOL
Gosh girls, sounds like we're all having a tough week! Telly, your post made me chuckle but I also feel terrible for you, at least you tried, your intentions were very good - that sort of thing happens to me don't worry. Amelia still has a cold and I'm still getting crap sleep, I don't know what else to do, she coughs and wakes up and won't re-settle unless I cuddle her, I can't lug a nearly 7 month old up and down the hallway for half an hour crying like I used to, I'm so tired and exhausted!!!! DH is away tonight too, mind you, he hasn't got up to help much anyway, he has to get up for work, apparently that seems to be the reason for it. Grrrrr.
Just popping in to say hi. I've been catching up by reading but at the moment that seems enough for me. Plus I'm hardly ever on my computer, only my phone and it takes too long to write messages. But I still love you all xx
Bec: Good to hear from you! You are such a busy lady i don't blame you for not having time to log on too often! How is Ruby doing? Hope she is feeling better xxx
Telly: That is sooo great that you have that kind of relationship with your mummy! I am one of nine children so my mummy has to spread the love between all of us so, while we are very close, we only see eachother a couple of times per week. This baby will be my mum and dad's EIGHTEENTH grandchild so none of the grandkids really get the "Granny and Grandad" experience either! They still have an 8 year old and an 11 year old so they have never really had a break without kids!
I also had a friend like your DH's friend's wife! All she did was b*tch, b*tch, b*tch and i felt like a horrible person after visits from her just for listening to that crap!! I distanced myself from her cos she was so exhausting... She found me on Facebook though and wants to catch up again! EEEEEK! Sorry about your failed attempt at housewife of the year, You'll ALWAYS be housewife of the year in my eyes
Alison: Darn nasty, horrible cold! Poor little Amelia... and YOU! Is the vapouriser still doing the job? Archie was very blocked up last night too and kept waking up cos he couldn't breathe properly! It is so awful! My hairdresser recommended one of those nose-snot-sucker-outerer thingy-majiggy's... i hope you know what i mean! She reckons she used it all the time with her bub and it was awesome. I've got one so i'll try it tonight if i have to.
Mon: I've been using my dryer everyday! I dread to think what my power bill is going to be like!
Mel: Salmon has bones?! You're so learned.... haha! I've never even tried salmon in a can! What a sheltered life i have lived! How did your nappies turn out after soaking them? OOOH and how do you make zucchini slice?? I love it but have never made it myself...
Shayna: I gave Archie egg today after reading that you had! He wasn't interested. Actually the only thing he was interested in today that i offered him was mandarin! I just peeled off the outer skin and the thin skin around each segment (IYKWIM) and gave it to him and OMG he DEMOLISHED it! He is quite fussy, well, not really fussy, but doesn't really like eating too often. Some days he will hardly eat a thing and other days he pigs out! I never even thought to offer him a sandwich!! Might do that tomorrow, Thanks!! It is hard to think of things to offer them isn't it!?
Sarah: When is the big POAS day!? Let us know so we can mark each day off our calendars!! haha!!! How exciting! ANOTHER friend told me she was preggers today! It's CRAZY! There are soooooo many babies on the way!
Hello everyone else!!
AFM: I have been cleaning all day and it's so nice to have a clean house for once!! It even smells really nice cos i bought myself one of those electric oil burners and am burning YlangYlang, Patchouli and Orange...... MMMMmmmMMMmmMMM! I love YlangYlang and i even love saying it..... YlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlang YlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlangYlang!
Archie has a stuffy nose and was so angry about it last night! I lost count of how many times he woke up crying! Poor little poppet Will try the Boogey sucker tonight...
OOh i bought an old Mountain Buggy out of the Quokka for $60 just to use around our property! I love it! Archie loves it too! I also bought a Silver Cross Stroller to use when we go out so i am going to sell my good pram. I will need to buy a double in Jan so i may as well just sell mine while it is still in excellent condish.
Hmmmm what else? DH isn't working at the moment so we are getting heaps done around our property and it's starting to look really nice! We are also building a little room (about the size of a study) in the corner of our living area (this corner was a complete waste of space and was used as a dumping ground!) and it is going to be Archie's little room til he is old enough to move right down the other end of the house and then it will be little baby's room! So we are turning our house from a 3 bed to a 4 bed which will add heaps of value! Woohoo! I am so lucky that DH is so clever and handy! But unlucky that he is so obnoxious and annoying, and NOT working! hahahaha!
OMG you have no idea how many words i have just gone back to fix the spelling of! What the heck is wrong with me today!?
I took Archie to the MCHN yesterday as i have a few concerns about him. He has not been trying to crawl at all and also holds his arms behind him (as if counter-balancing) when i hold him on my hip and i am a little concerned that the broken collarbone is affecting his development. She has given me a questionare (how DO you spell that?!) to fill out over a week and then she'll assess him based on my answers. He has also been referred to an Audiologist because he has dimples in his ears (in that cartledgey bit just down from your temple that people sometimes get pierced, IYKWIM) on both sides and seems to over react to noises, even noises that aren't even that loud. So i am a little bit worried..
I have another appointment in a week. I am choosing to believe he will be fine.
Well i had better go, my family are all watching Top Gear without me!!
Love you all
Kym xx

: Cos i wrote real swearwords!! UMMM MAAAAAA!!
Hi Kymmy - was just thinking about you, how weird, you must have Perth ESP! Hows your belly going? Re the snot sucker, yep, got one of those, it comes with the Fess for Little Noses box, she didn't mind it the first couple of times but absolutely HATES it now and kicks up a major fuss as soon as she sees it, poor petal. Sorry Archie is the same, isn't it hard seeing them wake with a blocked nose, I hate it myself so it upsets me to see Millie the same. I bought a fresh tube of Eukybear Rub today and a different saline spray called Flo that you can spray at any angle - I have to do it when she's just about asleep otherwise she won't let me near her. The more upset she gets, the more her nose snots up and I don't want her to end up with a phobia about sinus spray lol. Good luck with sleep tonight, I'm hoping to get some too. Amelia fell asleep through her last bottle tonight, she finished it but it meant I was able to put her down with no fuss and so far not a peep from her, but it usually hits around 3.00 am so we shall see tonight! I've got the heater on as it's been so cold today, it was only 16 in her room last night so wondered if that didn't help with the cough - I've got it on low at 21 degrees so we'll see how that goes. As for Archie's ears, my sister in law is an audiologist so if you want to either see her or ask me to find out who to see let me know. She's in Perth too. But now you say that, re the dimples, Amelia gets that when she smiles just on one side, it's only little but it's like a dimple sort of near her temple, she doesn't react to funny noises but she does have that one side, cripes, I'd best call my SIL and ask!!!!!
DH is down at the block putting the heating in tonight, back tomorrow, so it's just me, sleeping (hopefully ALL night wink wink Amelia) and my 2 dogs, one of whom is snoring away. I had a lovely bath and a read of my book and now I'm going to pop the kettle on and flick through the telly to see what crap is on tonight! lol
Have a great night everyone. xx

Hey there Mrs Kymmy! Oh how I love your posts I've been distancing myself from that wife, but its a bit hard. She sent me a text during the week to have a b**ch about people we know, and I still haven't replied. I know exactly what you mean, I always feel guilty after seeing her - just listening to the crap that comes out of her mouth must make me just as bad. I hope everything works out with Archie, he's such a little trooper. Isn't it strange that they can pick things up from something as simple as a dimple? bizare! A friend of mine had a DD who had a certain line on her palm (like the creases on yours on mine), and the DRs were worried she had down syndrome. Blew me away that something so simple could indicate something else (BUT you need not worried, she is a perfectly healthy little girl - just like what will happen with our little man x). Let us know how it all goes, k?
Wow too, 9 kids!! How many do you want, out of curiousity? I'm one of two, and always wanted more siblings - so naturally i always told myself i'd have atleast 3 babies!
Another pram hey?! Feeding that addiction I see? hahaha And awesome news that your hubby is building a new room! DH has been working his handy tricks around our house too, it's looking awesome!
Ubba -
Ali - Gee you're little girl is having a tough time at the moment Have you been taking her to swimming still? Bet you're inlaws are giving your grief, especially now she's not well I wonder if its teething related
Natty and Sarah - Waiting... waiting... waiting!! Need to see some piccies please!
AFM - Putting DD to bed tonight getting all sentimental. Time goes so quickly. I'm so worried that memories are going to get fuzzy. I always try and replay her birth, and DS's birth in my mind. Such an incredible time, and experience. I just went through her baby photos and got a bit teary eyed. Man I love my kids.
HI girls!
Just jumping in really quickly to say Hi and I love you all... Have been pretty quiet lately, going through some "stuff" nothing too dramatic, all in swonderufl with DH, DS and I - Just some personla stuff... Hopefully it's all for growth but I don't know I am just so confuzzled...
Super quick persies before I head off for some shut eye - DH is on night shift so I'm all on my lonesome..
Shayna - How is Abbey going with her sleep now?? I hpoe things are getting better??
Mel - So, preggas yet hun? Hahaha! DEF keen to catc up in August! Tell me where and when!!
Telly - I lubba yoo sooooo much And Kaili & Feo - I can't wait to see your Wedding Pics, I feel like shedding a little tear for your beautiful family already
Ali! How's my little FDIL coming along?? Sick I hear, poor bubba!! I know it's hard but just try the "This too shall pass" mantra - You know sooner rather than later she'll be back to her all night sleepies, she's up and down like a yoyo with her sleep little Miss Amelia but you always get variety!! Fingers crossed you get a good night's wink tonight xoxox
KYMMY! You gorgeous thing! I can't wait till you announce the big news on FB coz I am killing to see your belly pics!!! I thinky our DH and mine sound very familiar - They even have the same motorbike, GSXR750 yea?? Ours is a 2000 model, I bought it for him as a little pressie before Cruz arrived... I am sure Archie is going to be just fine! He is too perfect! Let us know how you go xox
Sarah - When is this shop opening?! You better have some online shopping happening! How was the meet with Natty? We are all so jealous and waiting to hear all about it!! GIve your gorgeous T & H snuggles from me, they are too cute those babies!! Stil in love with their wee noses!
Ditto to you Natty! How was it? Are you back from VIC yet?? Oooo can't wait for your preg news too! So exciting! Are you back at work already??
Ubba - Last night was fun! Thankyou! Still have to respond to your email too! How is Ruby feeling now? Any better?? Hope all is well!
Sorry they aren't too in depth honey pots, have a bazillion things running throug my head, will def make it back over the weekend to catch up more... Just know even though I am not as active as everyone else on BB I absolutely adore the lot of you and think about you always!!!!
Better get to bed, have our little Niece & Nephew's 1st and 3rd Birthday Party tomorrow morning, I am excited for Cruz, he's really started getting into other kids now and loves watching them and giggling with them, so cute! He LOVES his cousin Jakey, nothing gets his attention more.. Except aybe Daddy, he's a Daddy's boy... Ooo and he's started crawling now too!! Well, pulling himself up and rocking out one of two movements, but learning fast!!
Love you all precious girls, catch up soon xoxoxox
Hi Telly - I didn't take Amelia swimming this week, I've only got 2 weeks left that I've paid up for, I've decided not to continue after that until summer....I might take her up to one of the public indoor pools myself every now and then but I've decided there's no need for her to do this right now. With winter it's too cold getting her in and out, the teacher is a rude cow anyway and in all honesty "bad for the lungs" aside the last couple of times I've noticed how itchy I have been for a few days afterwards so it can't be good for her skin let alone mine. I've had a good think about it and I think I was just being stubborn because I wanted to do whatever the inlaws didn't want me to do lol.......but in hindsight I do understand DH's point and I don't think it's necessary to do it right now, it's the same thing every week anyway, I can do it myself whenever I want and I can do it at times that fit in with her schedule, at the moment I'm going to have to wake her as her morning nap overlaps with the swimming class.
Hi Alicia - Millie is a little unwell but she's getting there. I hope her BF is sending her kisses to make her feel better hee hee. Are you ok? If you want to talk you can always send me an FB message. Love you lots.
Thanks Telly, I took them today at the park across the road from my house....she was a bit snotty faced but still cute I thought. I actually was filming her clapping and this girl who I think was a little, how shall I say.....well I think she was a little mentally impaired was walking her dog and asked if I wanted her to take a photo. I was a bit unsure of passing over the new $900 camera but we chatted for a bit and she said hello to Amelia and Amelia started waving, I've been trying to teach her all week, how funny is that. Some stranger got her to wave!!! I wanted to upload the latest vids onto FB but it doesn't like the format on this camera so will have to convert them first, who can be bothered!
Gosh I crap on lol.
Thanks for the lovely comments, you're so sweet and it's a compliment coming from you as you're kids are just the most beautiful ever! hee hee
OMG Ali! I just looked at your new pics too! My gosh she is one DIVINE baby!! I was holding Archie while i was looking at he was making this "ooh" sound as if to say "ooh, she's alright" haha! It was sooo funny! Archie's dimples are a permanent fixture. They kinda look like he used to have earrings in there but the holes are closing over. What is your SIL's name? I am being referred to somewhere in Midland (i think).
Alicia: Hope everything is OK... love you and are here for you ALWAYS xxxx and yes DH has a GSXR750 his is a 90 anniversary model. But he is selling it to buy a Harley! A 883 Iron.... DAMN SEXY BIKE!
Telly: I really don't know how many kids i'd like! I don't really have alot of patience (i'm getting much better though! Kinda have no choice ) but after i had Archie i honestly felt like i wanted about six kids! Realistically though, that would mean a new house, a minivan (I REFUSE too own a minivan!!) and probably no hair left on my head!!
just a quick one, sorry ive been mia....opening hennie and fox TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
so ive been reading a little to chill out, ill post a MEGA post after this weekend is over
on the poas situation, its monday week...........feels like it will never arrive, but just now, tmi, i have had a little brown spotting.......hhhmmmmm....is this anything? is it finally af arriving?? or perhaps implantation bleed?? oh i dont know! being pg right now would be crazy but secretly id LOVE it!!!

although i looked like a right idiot and worst mother in the history of mankind when my pram tipped and harper bumped her head, bad parenting 101 there
but we just walked around the museum and talked, so tully would be entertained, then sat with a coffee for a while before we went home. It was so so nice. and man V is so so so so super adorable in real life too! gosh she is just delicious!
Tully warmed to natty real quick too, he is a great judge of character and wont go to just anyone.

xox madame x
Hi Kymmy - oh shucks thank you, I think we all have gorgeous bubbas but sometimes I do look at Amelia and think, hmmmm she is kinda pretty - obviously didn't get that from me lol! That's so cute Archie went ooooh, hee hee how funny! He's a cutie pie that boy of yours for sure! Re the dimples, I see what you mean, Amelia's is literally like a dimple, it only appears when she smiles, odd place for one though isn't it lol. She has one on her left cheek but it's the teeniest little dimple I've ever seen, I'm sure it will fade as she grows. I have one too but mine has faded as I've gotten older as well. As for my SIL, her name is Kate Lewkowski and she works for the Lions Hearing Institute. Seriously, if you want to go see her let me know and I'll find out what you need to do. Or I can ask her about the one you're going to see in Midland. I think she's out Nedlands way so a bit further for you to go than Midland I guess. If you don't feel comfy after seeing that person let me know, sometimes it's good to get a second opinion. Kate's dad and brother are also audiologists so I think she's pretty good, it's in the blood.
Hi Madame - oooh brown spotting is definitely one of the signs of implantation......can't wait till you POAS! How exciting! And just as exciting you're opening your shop tomorrow and I'm with Alicia, I hope you're going to have online shopping as well!! Pretty plllllllease. I'm so glad your meeting with Natty went so well, how exciting for you, can't wait to see the pics. I think we should all pick a spot and arrange a meet up one day, can you believe I've never really been over East - how sad is that! I've been to Sydney airport and Melbourne airport on the way to/from NZ but never left the airport and I haven't been to SA or Queensland at all. Sorry folks, I HATE flying and it used to be cheaper to fly to Asia from WA than to go over East. My friend who's a child psychologist has given me the name of one of her colleagues who is WA's top psych for dealing with flying phobias so I'm going to go see him. I really want to go back to NZ as I loved it so much but the flying part stops me from wanting to go. I have flown, been to Singapore, Phuket and Penang, Broome (for honeymoon) and NZ but that's it, I could never go to Europe or the US with the way I feel, that is WAY too long to sit on a plane and freak out about crashing and dying. lol
AFM - well yay girls I don't want to say it outloud but Amelia had a much better night! She fussed a little around the usual 3.00 am time frame but I just went in, patted her bum, gave her her dummy and she went back to sleep, wahoooooo! She breathed much better last night too so I think that was the key. All I did different was buy a fresh tube of Eukybear Rub and I gave her 2 of the Hylands teething tabs instead of 1 - I didn't realise you were meant to give them 2.......plus I had the heating on so it was 21 degrees, nice and cosey. Anyway, I don't want to get my hopes up incase I jinx myself for tonight but she evens seems better today. I hope so, 1 week of it is enough for her poor petal.
Well, she's whinging so I think she's done her morning poo so best run. Talk later. Have a fab day beautifuls! xx
