    everyone!

Argh, i just typed up a reply and than my computer froze. grr!

Kymmy, i've never told anyone this.. so feel honored, haha. When dd was 6 months old I placed her on the kitchen bench while i put some rubbish in the bin. She wriggled around and fell off of it, and I caught her JUST before she went splat. I was soo horrified. I cried and vomited. I still feel sick when I think of it. Ever since i've been super vigilant with kids on elevated surfaced. I don't trust high chairs, bumbos, anything like that. I always like to be within reach. So maybe we could share the title of mother of the year?? haha. don't worry too much about it

ali - omg no offence but i can't stand that show!! hahaha! That one and 64 zoo lane. Argh, so irritating! hahah! Oh and Zigby!!!! All of them remind me of morning sickness. so naturally i'm not that fond.

sarah - that is soo exciting that you guys are trying for bubby number three!! Yippee!!! Can't wait to hear your posts, haha. Im still in two minds about a third. Who knows what the future holds. But if we do have a third, will have to be before i'm 30, i've always wanted to have my family while young. So still got forever to decide anyway. I'm not even 25 yet! hehe!

shayna - theo is getting sick of the same ol same ol foods too. today i gave him a slice of bread with vegemite for lunch. he didn't really eat much of it. Dinner i'll try giving him some lasagna, if i get around to making it!

AFM - Took DD to the Dora concert on the weekend while mum looked after theo. DH was suppose to look after him, but he was so hungover it was ridiculous. He passed out in dds bed (she was in my bed), and got up vomiting, but couldn't make it to the toilet in time. So he spewed in her wooden block thingo (you know the thing you push, that holds wooden blocks??). I was LIVID!!! So i spent the remainder of the weekend ****ing him off. Including at $250 shopping spree on clothes for DD. hehe! (OMG ladies... Target girl clothes atm are just ADORABLE! A definate must!)

    anyway, hope you're all well

ha ha Telly no offence taken, I think they're cutie pies......my pet hates are Dora (although I'm slowly coming around), the Wiggles and most of all that Night Garden or whatever it's called, those things are just too freaky for me! Re DH, OMG I would've kicked his butt to Timbuktoo, yuk! I hope he was embarrassed and go you for the shopping spree, personally I'd still be shopping if it was me lol. I had a quick scan in Target yesterday actually, I did get a cute little red and white spotty dress for Summer, am I right in getting 1's for summer? Amelia's just going into 0's now so I assume 1's will be fine for summer. I have no idea how much more they grow from now until then!

Also, Amelia won't eat any packaged foods, not even Rafferty's - except their breakfast rice cereals and multigrains etc which she loves. Any of their pouched liquid foods and even the smoothies she spits out and shuts her mouth. I think it's because they're too sweet, they do put apple in everything and it was very sweet even for me! Anyway, I'm not complaining but just thought it was interesting as all the mums group mums feed mainly those rather than cook the food. Today I'm trying a recipe one of my pregnancy aqua friends gave me, it's a minced meat one with tomatos and onion etc......quite daring for me as I've just been doing vegies but I'll give it a go, if anyone wants the recipe let me know. She gave me a chicken one and fish one too which I'll try. I tried chicken last week and she wasn't interested but this recipe looks like it has flavour so will give it another go.

    Hi Ladies,

sorry it's been ages since I posted, but to be honest was not sure where to find it again!!

I am in full agreement with the Bumbo Seats, my little escape artist was breaking out of it over a month ago and yes I found out the hard way he fell from the kitchen bench to the floorboards so I get the bad mother award! can't use it now as he just gets right out so I have it on the floor at all times, so be very careful if you are using one keep it low!

my little one is in to everything, and standing on everything, i can't even change his nappy in peace no more he just has to move move move!!! my daughther was so different didn't do any of this till 10mths I guess she was lazy!! but no teeth still!

    how is everyone else going?

    Just quickly, on my phone

Archie just got himself out of his bumbo, while it was on the BENCH!! OMG he was dangling off the edge when I bolted over and grabbed him! He couldve fallen straight onto the slate! Worst mother award goes to me. I feel traumatized.. So was he, poor lil man.
I guess that's why they put the warning on the side then. He has never even tried to get out of it before, so all of you with bumbos please be extra careful.

Sorry no persies, can't remember what was written. I'll try to log back on tonight for a major persies post.

Feeling alot better both physically and emotionally.

Hi BellaB - it's been quiet in here, we've been conversing on Facebook more often lately lol. We certainly have to watch our little ones don't we, you don't realise how much more tiring it is when they start moving, more fun, but more tiring lol. I'm hoping this is the stage where the extra few kgs starts to drop off! Amelia isn't crawling yet but she is rolling from one end of the loungeroom to the other and just wriggles her way around as well. I'm in no hurry for her to crawl I must admit! We have 2 bottom teeth and I think the top 2 aren't too far away, she's got her fist in her mouth again and keeps putting her tongue on her top lip so not sure if that's for the same reason. She's also a bit of a nightmare to change, she just wants to move and roll, can get quite frustrating can't it! Woops for Anton falling out of the bumbo, was he ok? Amelia was rolling when trying to change her nappy the other day so I sat her up, she is still a little wobbly sitting for long periods of time but as I was putting her shirt on she fell slightly to the side and of course she was right against the wall so she hit her face. There was that horrible silence for a second and then she screamed - she ended up with a little bruise on her cheek, I felt so awful. DH told me there's going to be more of that as time goes on and I guess he's right, it's going to be horrible watching her fall and things but I guess to an extent it's part of learning isn't it. I don't mean really bad things but just the odd little minor thing here and there. Not looking forward to those times at all. Wish we could wrap them up in cotton wool! BTW, was looking at some recent pics of yours on FB the other day, gosh Anton is gorgeous, he's such a little man, super super cute and you look hot in your sig pic. You're soooo pretty and your hair is just gorgeous.

Hi everyone else, hope you're all well. xx

Oh good! I'm not the only one!!

Poor feo!! Don't worry too much, brit used to get temps of 41 ALL the time (for no obvious reason) and she HATED panadol so kept spitting it out whenever we tried to give it to her! I was so worried but she never convulsed!! In American Indian cultures they actually wrap their kids in fur when they have temps as it helps to fight infection.

I've been thinking about archie's birthday too Ali, so you're not the only one with too much time on yr hands!!

In laws are here, wish they would bugger off so I can do a proper post! I'm in my room feeding Archie right now!

Hi girls how's everyone? I've just read through the last few days of posts and now I forget most of what was written.... I'm on my phone so can't easily re read.
I've been thinking about Billy too, hi if you're reading. Hope the kids are well xx
Oh Sarah and Shayna the sleep issues really suck. I'm just about at the end of my rope too. Sleep school would be great but I just don't have time to go. It will get better, both my older 2 sleep all night - I even yell at ash to get up on school mornings lol.
Ruby is teething really badly at the moment, she keeps biting me while she's feeding. I yelled out today cause it hurt so much and it gave her a fright so she cried for ages. God anyone would think she nearly got her nipple bitten off!
She's also been grinding her teeth, well her bottom teeth onto her top gums and she made her gums bleed tonight. Poor thing must be in so much pain xx
I'm taking Luke back to the hossy on Tuesday for a bone scan, I'm a bit nervous invade it shows something nasty. Well see
    Goodnight gorgeous girls, xxx

    Soon to be sunny BRISVEGAS!!!!!

    Hi Girls,

sorry been V busy with sleep school and daycare (both hideous experiences).

I hope Feo is feeling better Telly.

Gee this daycare thing is a DRAMA!!! V wont eat or drink there and suddenly wont drink anything or from anywhere except the boob although i did get her to take a few sips from a normal cup this morning. Also she has told them where they can shove their sleeping ideas too....Got my hair cut and eyebrows done yesterday while she was there but went to get her early as she was shagged then we battled with the bottle at home for a while until we were both pi55ed off and just did the boob.

We are going to Tresillian for 5 days in mid July 20 somethingth anyway to see if we cant get er to self settle. She settles ok here but plays in the cot and cries on and off for an hour before finally allowing me to pat her... not the ideal thats for sure esp as if we go to Bris next year she will be changing daycare etc aswell as going full time...;.geezzzz I feel like Im drowning in drama....So not keen on going back full time esp as DH and I will be working in the same unit...eeeewwww..
    xx

Sorry for the selfish post, gtg having a few girls from playgroup around seeing as I have bailed because playgroup is dirty and grimy and my house is clean and way more comfy lol

    Hey my ladies.
Feo is little better today. Last night we still had temps, but only 38.3, so not as dramatic as the night before. The doc has put him on some antibiotics so hopefully he'll start getting better asap! Ooo he also slept last night for 5 hours straight wooop!! I woke up twice wondering what the g-o was, but he was just pushing zz's. Yes, I'm also in your boat shayna, bec and sarah - terrible little sleeper! But I know it will get better. Kaili was the exact same, and she... Actually as i think about that she's still not a good sleeper bahahahaha! Every night she wakes and sneaks into our bed, tosses and turns and irritates the crap outta us until either dh of i go to her bed. Musical beds.. great game
shayna i'm pretty keen on that marina too!!! But DH isn't. If it was up to him we'd be TTC now. But me on the other hand... not so keen on that idea!

perth bb girls, hope you've all battened down the hatches, it said on0 the news earlier on that you guys were expecting huge storms over luc4n4ch??? hooe you're /all sa6fe62.0
