okay, i can't help but get excited!!! hehehehe!!

I'm definately keen on meeting too alicia! Only problem is I very rarely leave mackay
I'm a total wuss when it comes to leaving my kids for a period longer than an hour, they couldn't possily cope without me
Wedding plans are excruciating too btw. I've never been the type of girl to dream about my wedding, so I'm really putting the whole thing in the too hard basket.
I would love to just get married at the courthouse, then have a nice romantic dinner with about 20 people at a resturant. But that idea goes in the garbage because DHs family are so strange the dinner would be more awkward than romantic. Ahh the dilemas! Last time we talked about it we came to the conclusion that we'd have a courthouse wedding, than a bbq at our place to get merry. Oh how romantic.... I just can't justify spending so much on a wedding. 10grand would be our budget if we did the traditional... and hell.. 10 grand to me is that new roof we've been needing, or that verandah i dream of every afternoon. Hohum! I'm sure we'll work something out. My only rule is - I want to look and feel beautiful. So Im definately getting my hair and makeup done, and a nice dress to wear. We'll see about the rest.

natty - thank you for the compliment

madame - I hope you're feeling better today. I had such a beautiful vision reading your post. A bow tie. How divine My thoughts are with you and your family xxoo
Could you possible take Harper into the new shop to keep your supply going? I'm exactly like you too. I express about 10ml at a time, which is the reason i don't even bother. Such a huge effort. Don't worry about the formula either, you've been bfing for soo long now! You've done such a fabulous job. No one is going to ask when she applys for the first job whether she was formula or breastfed, hehe. love you lots

gotta go give my girl some cuddles
    love you all

    Hi Girls..

You girls are so so sweet. I think about you all every day.. How i wish we could all meet.

I don't really have much time to post as Archie is still awake (DH is trying to keep him occupied for me but all he wants is mummy!)...

I was in emergency last night and at the hospital all day today.
I was sitting watching TV last night when i felt a massive flood... I had lost HEAPS of blood, in BIG clots. We threw the kids in the car, dropped Brit at my mums and RACED down to the hospital. I had another three massive gushes in the car along with contractions that were seriously as bad as my labour. I was covered in blood (and forgot to bring a spare pair of pants, stupid..)! The Dr said that i needed a blood transfusion and another d&c (WHAT!?) but, thank goodness, the OB was called and did a u/s, put me on a drip and took some blood. Since i had pretty much stopped bleeding (well in clots anyway) she said to go home and just to come back in today for another u/s on a better machine, as my bloods all came back good. Today the u/s discovered that i do have retained product, but as it isn't much the dr is hoping that my body will be able to get rid of it on it's own. I am on some hardcore antibiotics and hopefully they do the trick. If not, i'll have to have another d&c and the Dr seems to think that this would jeopardise me having kids in the future as i reacted so badly to the last one. So girlies, please keep your fingers crossed for me.

It has been such a horrible week. I've had enough and just want it to be over!

Sarah: I'm so sorry about your FIL.. He sounds like a lovely man xxx

Bec: thanks so much for the text, i was at the hospital when i got it and it made me laugh! I made Jam Fancies the other day and every time i look at them i think of you guys....

Sorry everyone else, i'll be back tomorrow for more persies...
Gotta go, someone is REALLY calling for me now!
    xxxx

Oh you poor thing Kymmy! Hope you're better today & the u/s is all clear. I had the same 'didn't think to bring spare pants' thing when I had my m/c, awful.

This is nothing in comparison, but I had a terrible night - Mr I woke when we went to bed, so I got up with him & played in th lounge until nearly 11, then he woke screaming at 2am and took ages to settle, then again at 4 & 5. Dunno whats wrong - it could be top teeth, his gum looks bruised, could be the cold (temperature or sickness - he's had a runny nose for over a week). So I'm tired & getting a cold.

Natty:Wow at V pulling herself up on the couch, what a strong girl. Mr I loves standing up, would stand all dy if I held him, but he can't pull himself up yet.

Hi Kymmy - oh my! I have everything crossed for you you have definitely had more than your fair share this past week. I'm sure you'll be fine, try and think positive, we will do the same for you. xx

Hi Snowy - you've got what I had a couple of weeks ago with Amelia's cold and teething.....she's had a yukky nose for 3 weeks now, although it's 100% compared to what it was at the beginning, just the odd occasion of a runny nose throughout the day now. I'm dreading the top teeth if this is what happens every time, that week was a tough one, I pretty much had no sleep. Fingers crossed Mr I is better soon.

AFM - Amelia has her final swimming class today, she hasn't been for 2 weeks because of her cold, I was considering not going today either but I've already forfeited the last 2 weeks of money so don't really want to again and she is fine now anyway. I'm giving it away after today until Summer, it's getting too cold and with her having 2 colds since doing swimming I've decided it's not worth the risk.

Hope you all have a lovely day girls.

Hi Ladies, Just lost a darn post...

Oh Kymmy Im sorry this is continuing like this for you. How scary for everyone I definately have everything crossed for you I hope your insides are not damaged

Snowy, lol I think the only place V and I are famous is in here with all the other stars lol Thankyou so much for the corn Idea V looooved it! She munched on it so hard and I could see how much she enjoyed it. Id love to meet up if and when we move! We love the Sunshine Coast and particularly like staying in the treehouses at Montville.

Ali, good idea about the swimming, I was going to take V but I think Ill wait till warmer weather too.

Telly I just googled Mackay...It isnt very close to Brissy is it? Was going to see if I could get there on one of my road trips but it would be a massive detour lol.

    Hi everyone else

Sooo Finally I got an electric breast pump. Should have done it ages ago but oh well. I got 80 mls in just a few mins and the only reason I stopped was Im not sure how quickly my bbs can replenish for Vs afternoon tea lol. I got the Ameda purely yours as I had the hand pump already and it is fabbo. I got it brand new for half the price of it on the ABA website through a chemist on Ebay. Im really happy and even though I know I wont get a whole lot of use out of it, I have it for next time so I dont have to stress about doing it manually which I hate...

Vs sleeping.... Blah. She isnt sleeping much more during the day but is easier going to sleep. She will not go to bed at night witho0ut the boob but last night slept for 10 hours with no feed in between....a miracle if you ask me...So not sure if the sleep settling is working or not really...

I hope everyone is doing fine with their bubbas. Theres not much time to post anymore....

    xx Natty

Hi Natty - that's great, 10 hours is awesome, I reckon she's getting the hang of it, she'll do that more and more now. Yay! Well done on pumping so much milk, I miss breastfeeding in a way. I laughed my head off watching Packed to the Rafters last night, it was like watching myself in the early days!

Question for everyone, Amelia does this thing with her wrist where she flicks it up and down (like rolls it) and opens and closes her fist over and over again. Is this just a developmental thing or is it strange ha ha - anyone else's bubs doing it? It looks cute but I have noticed she's doing it more and more, moreso with her right hand. ) It's like she's going "abracadabra" LOL

    Babies Born ~ November 16th-30th 2009 #5

Hi girls.. Just on my phone

Thanks again, am feeling a little better today, well, physically anyway

    Just a question..
I am thinking of stopping Archie's solids for a while.. Since I started he has really not been that interested and now it's almost as if he is afraid of eating! He will put something in his mouth then hold it in there for about half an hour til I eventually pull it out with my finger! He won't spit or swallow lumps, yet he Is not keen on purée either.. What do you all think? I was thinking of stopping completely for about a week just to see what happens. I usually offer him something at every meal but he never really seems that interested. He LOVES pear but the minute a bit breaks off he gets this panicked look on his face and then just sits there with the lump in his mouth for ages! I tried mashing pear and he won't eat it! I can't win! Advice please! Xxxx

Hi Kymmy - I'm no expert given Amelia's my first but from what I hear/read it doesn't sound like he's ready for solids yet, although I thought they had to start eating some solids from around 6 months? Or does that not matter, I have no idea! Amelia loves her food, I didn't start her until she was "asking" for it but she instantly knew to swallow etc. I would give it a break for a week and see. Have you spoken to your MCHN about it to see what she says?

Kymmy I stopped Vs solids for a week a while ago as she was not really wanting them and a week later she was eating them again enthusiastically so maybe its worth a try?

    Thanks girls..

I will just lay off the solids a bit I think. If he seems super keen on something I'll let him try but apart from that I'll just give it a break.

Back down the hospital today for a check up. What a waste of time that was! Had the worst dr, he could hardly speak any English, didn't even feel my tummy or do an ultrasound or anything, just told me to come back next week for an ultrasound. Thanks for making me wait an hour and a half for that great piece of medical advice, doc! Geez, I tell ya, I'm so over all of this! So, I guess I'll find out next week whether I'll need another d&c now.

Sorry for my rant.. Hope you are all doing well. I promise I'll do a less selfish post one of these days, it's just so convenient to post quickly on my phone while feeding!

    Have a good weekend xxx
