Home from a shopping trip and waiting for DD to be picked up by her dad. Pressie for friend's baby shower tomorrow acquired and have discovered Alex likes it if I raise the back of his pram seat a bit so he can see what's going on as we zoom around the shopping centre, because he is a stickybeak

I've only got a few basic cries that it's easy to tell the difference between, the others can still be a bit of a mystery sometimes but then he also doesn't really cry all that much. His pain cry is quite distinguishable, as is his "hello, I'm awake!" yell and his "I'm uncomfortable for whatever reason, please fix it" cry. That last one though can be tricky sometimes as it can cover anything from being hungry to a squelchy nappy or too hot/cold etc.
