    Happy new year everyone!

dory - I hope you're feeling a bit better. How are you going to get to your mums house? Does she live very far away? I'm sure you'll be fine travelling alone.
The travelling wasn't too hard really. I thought I had a lot of luggage, but I got a few comments like, wow you don't have much luggage! This is what I had: a smallish backpack (like one of the school sized ones, it has been just about around the world with me!) with all my clothes and Isaacs clothes in it, a carry on size bag, a big satchel type handbag, a pram, and a car seat. What I did was put the bags in the pram (its a bassinet style) and the car seat upside down on top, and had Isaac in the sleepywrap. I wanted to take the pram as I wanted Isaac to have somewhere familiar to sleep in the daytime, and it was handy to use as a trolley for all my stuff. I had a lot of help from lovely strangers on the way. It was so nice when I was struggling with loading/unloading my stuff to hear someone say 'can I give you a hand with something?' My reply was usually 'could you hold my baby?' Isaac loved the attention.. I'm afraid he's a bit of a ladies man already.. must take after his father lol. On the train from Adelaide to Melbourne I met a lovely Indian family who sat across from me, the mother offered to hold Isaac for me so I could go to the toilet, go eat etc.. I'd come back every time and find her holding him and two of her little kids singing songs to him. So sweet.
Isaac goes ages without any poos also, usually about 5 days but yes he definitely makes up for it! Don't be worried about it, they can go up to 10 days and its apparently ok if they are breastfed.
    PS love Hannah's new pic!

Buzzie - ooh your present sounds lovely and so sweet of your man to be thinking of the future like that

fuzzy - I think our babies are in sync with the night sleeping! I'm used to it too, and I actually quite like the snuggly feeding in the dark. Sorry about tagging you in that photo! I realised as soon as it was done.. I'd meant to put my step mothers name who is also Dianne but she is not on fb so it just automatically selected you.. oops! I think I fixed it but I'll check. I love your Bali pics by the way! So jealous.

Connie - I just added you on fb.. I'm Bec McQueen if you want to add me dory and anyone else I haven't added yet

Wite - I hope Harlow's cough gets better soon! And yay for all the rolling! Isaac is still only rolling from his belly to his back.. I don't want him to start going the other way yet, I'm scared he'll roll off my bed in the night! Must get some safety rails...
Yes my days of drinking and dancing all night are over for a while too.. I was in bed really early NYE, such a contrast to last year.

Belfie - have a great time! Sponteneous holidays are the best!

Chuckie - I'm going to get a jolly jumper soon too, has Pearl started bouncing in it yet?

Kirsten - bummer about the car! Glad to hear Sam is sleeping so well though

I just bought a little inflatable baby pool from go lo for about $5! I've just put a little bit of water in and put it in the sun to warm up a little, then I'll let Isaac have a little kick in it.. I think it's going to be a hot one this afternoon again.
