Chuckie, George started to do catnaps at one stage aswell, and I felt like I was going to go nuts! But, I read somewhere that a couple of causes can be:

1. They're not full enough and get hungry quicker
2. They're not tired enough when they go down for a nap, so they only catnap

For me, it was number 2. I was putting him down when he started to get a little grizzly, but he wasn't actually really tired yet. Now I wait a bit longer (usually he's up for 2 hours at a time), and he sleeps from anywhere between 1 and 2 hours. That may or may not help... P may just be too excited about being awake and playing to sleep for too long! Haha

I am definitely interested in meeting you Melbourne girls. I was just talking about this with DH and my therapist infact the other day. My friends are all single and with no interest in getting married or having kids etc, so I have felt a bit isolated since having George. I was also thinking I should make an effort to meet people who are a similar position to me.

What suburb are you all in?
Buzzie - Wantirna, right? I grew up in Vermont, so I know your area really well
Chuckie - Tullamarine is basically on the opposite side to Wantirna, but we can work it out
Belfie - ??
Conne - Melbourne, I actually live in the city (for now) - St Kilda Rd.
