i've always used little gel filled teethers, you can pop them in the fridge too and they like that (when they're full-on teething). Most supermarkets do have them or toys with "teethy" type things on them if you wanted to buy some. Ermm I'm trying to think of what else you could use... but my brain just ain't working sorry
