To be honest I didn't really know how much to give him. I tried not to overdo it at the start so that he was still drinking plenty of milk. Even now, if I see that one day he hasnt had enough milk, I limit his food a little the next day so that he is still drinking his milk.

I let him be the guide. When he started to lose interest by turning away, not opening his mouth anymore, or putting his hands in his mouth, I would stop. It was all a bit of trial and error. Apparently there is no minimum amount of how much they should be having, and at the same time the maximum is when they don't want anymore - I would never force him.

I would continue with what you are doing... if she is getting fidety and trying to get out, she is losing interest and thats ok at this early point. Its ok to stop... she doesnt HAVE to have massive meals.

So now George is only on 3 bottles a day, below is his new food schedule.

7am - 200ml bottle
8am - Cereal with fruit (3/4 cup)
12pm - Lunch - Vegies (3/4 cup) and Yoghurt (1/4 cup)
3pm - 200ml bottle
5pm - Dinner - Vegies & Meat (3/4 cup) and Jelly or Fruit (1/4 cup)
6:15-6:30pm - 200ml bottle
